He reviewed the whole system, including the humidifier, and then also recommended an annual check up.  I had an emergency situation and he came after hours.  He replaced a part in the compressor, and he gave me an excellent price.  He did the work quickly.  He didn't charge me extra because it was an after hours emergency job.

They are very knowledgeable and honest. They are one of the few companies that would respond via e-mail to me.

We have been using Nick for our heating and cooling services for a while now. He is always very responsive and he knows his stuff. In this particular case, we were stranded in 95 degree heat without working AC due to an electrical issue. Turned out it was a small problem but he was able to make it out here quickly.

I called for them to take a look at my air conditioning unit. My tenant was complaining that the a/c was not working and then complained that it would not stop running after she banged the thermostat, and had been running for 2 - 3 days straight. Apparently it was also very noisy and the neighbors were concerned that it might be an electrical issue. It was a hike for the company to come out to West Orange, but they accomodated me. Within a short while they determined it was a thermostat issue. Apparently, the batteries were low. When the thermostat was tuned to a/c, it was calling for a/c but the batteries did not have enough juice to send the request for the a/c to come on. When the tenant banged the thermostat, it gave the batteries the momentary juice to start the a/c but then the batteries died completely and it could not send the signal to stop the a/c. Simple as that. He also oiled the motor (apparently only the older a/c units have oil ports). The newer a/c units are all sealed in. It made all the difference in the noise level, and was humming nicely thereafter. He also checked the freon level, and it was low and he recommended adding some. I accepted the recommendation given that we are just about to enter the summer season. I was expecting to pay significantly more than what I was charged. I was in a bind because I had to deal with the tenant as well as the neighbors in an upscale neighborhood. They could easily see that, and could easily have taken advantage of the situation. However, they did not. I found Nick (the owner) to be a person of integrity, and a professional at his job. I have since called him to service my 2 zone a/c system at my place of residence. I would not hesitate to recommend him highly to anyone looking for very reasonably priced, high quality HVAC service.
