Courteous , pleasant, honest and knowledgeable. Moses charged $60 for an estimate. Came back a second time, due to our not having a necessary part, at no charge. Then he advised that the washer was not worth repairing. Will definitely call him for any appliance problem.

I found Mr. Potter overpriced and torture to deal with. Here's the story: Mr. Potter gave me an $850 estimate to fix a Jenn Air stove with an ignition problem. I agreed, and it took him quite a number of weeks to find a burner that was needed. He finally came to the house with a white burner that did not match the other three burners on the stove top, which are black. I can't imagine why he thought it might be satisfactory to pay $850 to wind up with a stove that had three black burners and one white one. However, tired of waiting for the part, my wife told him to install it after he said he'd come back and paint it back. He never came back -- and I'm not at all sure if it would have been satisfactory or held up if he had. I went ahead, quickly found the matching black part online for $65 delivered, and installed it myself in 5 minutes. In the course of buying this part, I found out that all the needed ignition parts are very cheap and readily available. I concluded I was badly overcharged, but that's my problem -- CAVEAT EMPTOR! I did however, ask Mr. Potter to refund whatever he charged me for the non-matching part and the labor. He would not tell me what that amount was and he would not refund it. After a dozen emails back and forth -- torture -- he offered to send me $65 for the part I had bought, if I signed a release. I told him I would only accept a refund of what he had charged me for the part and the associated labor, which had been useless to me. Again, he refused to tell me what that was. I conservatively guesstimated $100, and said I'd accept that. He refused. I told him that if he would not refund the cost of a repair which I'd had to redo myself, I wouldn't accept anything. In sum: I found Mr. Potter to be overpriced, not transparent, and unreasonable. Other people on Home Advisor seem to like him, and your experience may be different. I do suggest you get a detailed parts and labor estimate in advance.

Came to repair a clothes dryer not staying warm, but ended up going above and beyond by also fixing the broken handle on the dryer, and also cleaning the duct work to the exterior of the house and securing it with new tape.

After a couple of day he repaired the refregirator( actually he didnt solve the real problem because he cannot find it), it stoped cooling. He said, there is 30 day guarantee if it has any problem. I called him again, he said OK, I am coming tomorrow. But he did not show up, and also did not answer his phone. I left messages, 20 phone call. Nope.. no answer.. finally after 2 day he stop by and gave us 800 $ cost.

Moses arrived right on time, very courteous, and immediately analyzed the problem with our refrigerator. Fortunately for us it was not a big problem, and he remedied the problem in a few minutes, and because the work was so minimal, charged us only his basic visitation service fee. Quite honest and we appreciate that. Did not take advantage of the situation. Would definitely recommend this company, and would use him again, for sure.

The service was good but not for the price. The lure of a low $60 service call and the completed job of the replacement of a $20 heating coil cost $225. There was no surgery performed here by a doctor. The charge was excessive.

You will not be disappointed with this company. Moses was so very professional and was able to troubleshoot the problem with my fridge in less than an hour. His rates are super reasonable. He was very honest. I actually felt he was trying to save me money...which he did! My fridge works great now and avoided having to buy a new one. Nice to have someone dependable to turn to for appliance repairs, which anymore seems to be more and more common. Susan B
