It is family-operated and they were wonderful; they really were. I had a problem with my roof so he came to see me and took a look; he caulked it and did not charge me. He got a big "wow" from me.

Overall, it was a great experience! We had someone come out and give a quote, which was very competitive. Then, we chose our materials. We had a foreman come in the morning and he stayed all day to oversee the work. It took a day to remove the old roof and put on the new one. The workers used huge drop-cloths to keep the ground clean. All inquires were responded to very quickly despite the difficulties of limited phone service and a huge number of calls right after the hurricane. They have the best reputation in the area, gave us a great price and did great work! Just make sure you have the keys to move whatever cars are in your driveway... that is a long story...

Came out promptly to diagnose problem, provide temporary seal and prepare estimate Came back in about two weeks as promised to complete the job. Work done efficiently and yard cleaned of old parts and loose materials.

The representative came for an assesment exactly on time. Very curteus and professional. the appt was scheduled and they showed up on time. Our roof had two layers of shingles on already. The work was done neatly and on time. Will definately recommend their services without hesitation to anyone/

Mr. Wagner himself visited me initially and was very kind and helpful in answer my questions. I had never undertaken such a large home improvement endeavor and I was a little nervous about quality...even more than price. He was very patient and guided me through the process professionally. I received a quote immediately from Mr. Wagner and let him know that I would interview 1 to 2 other firms. So far, I'm very happy with the roof. The only issues I had with the experience were: 1) they didn't hook up the attic fan as they claim they aren't electrical contractors. I get it, but it's just another thing I have to do now. I also feel the fan they installed was of lesser quality than the one removed. 2) When the laborers arrived in the morning, they laid on the workvan's horn for about 5 seconds. Not a big deal, but really annoying. Definately recommend them.

We had talked to several roofers at the start of the process. This actually took some time since it involved scheduling, getting estimates, going back to our few top choices, making a decision, and then scheduling the work. Do not underestimate (or skimp) on this step, since it took us about a month and half. We picked Wagner Roofing because they had the best combination of experience, price, and responsiveness. They were not the least expensive nor the most expensive, but somewhere in between. More importantly, they seemed knowledgeable and trustworthy. It helped that they had a string of good reviews over the years on AL. They also work with a group that does any other necessary construction and carpentry. This turned out to be critical as well since some of the porch frame and supporting structure had water damage and needed to be replaced. We had learned from previous work that there are always some unforeseen issues, so were glad we took the time up front to pick someone we were comfortable discussing the project and who was honest and straightforward. The project went well. There were some delays because of the weather, but it got done in time and looks great. Wagners definitely exceeded our expectations.

They did good work, very organized, everyone knew what they were doing. There was a supervisor on the job and they all worked well together. There was an unexpected glitch that came up (not on their part), it was something that was already there (dip in my roof line). They built it up so it would be more even. They didn’t lose anytime, cleaned up everything, you wouldn’t even know they were there. They were all very friendly.

Prompt with estimate. Scheduled without much delay. They obtained the necessary permits, worked efficiently and were tidy. We are very pleased with the work.

Process handled very handled. Was provided an estimate quickly. I accepted and was told 2 weeks but they came within 1 week which was excellent. The roofer Lito (spelling?) did an excellent job. Was easy to work with. I wanted something else looked at that I had forgotten. He did look at it and repaired it right away. Would definitely recommend this company.

They did the job in one day, cleaned up after the work was done and did a great job. They were very professional and I would highly recommend them.

It went very smoothly. Wagner Roofing arrived on time. They completely replaced the porch roof in a timely manner. I arrived home to find the job completed and all materials cleaned up. I was very impressed and pleased.

It has rained a several times since they installed the roof and there hasn't been any leaks. There were a few windy days since the installation and the shingles haven't blown off. Overall, very satisfied. I'm glad I found them on Agies' List.

We had a serious roof leak that was letting water in behind a wall in an upstairs hallway, under the carpet on the hallway floor and then through the ceiling onto our dining room floor below. I called Wagner Roofing and although they originally couldn't come until the following week, when I explained the urgency of our problem, they set an appt. time for the next day. Mark arrived promptly at the scheduled time, got up on his ladder and assessed our situation. He applied a temporary fix (tar) so that we wouldn't get soaked at the next rain and provided a quote for a permanent fix. He didn't charge us for the temporary fix (thank you Mark!) and it was such a relief to know that there would be no further damage to our home at the next rain. We will definitely work with Mark again!

The appraiser was efficient and informative describing how the job would be handled.; gave an accurate estimate;and was professional and courteous.. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

Overall this was a very pleasant experience during an out of the ordinary situation.

Had previous 2 roofs torn off, new sheathing, new roof, and two skylights installed. Class, professional operation from the first phone call to the last nail picked up. Would definitely recommend them and use them again.

The quote for the job was reasonably and the quote was provided quickly. I understand there was a lot of work going on at this time due to hurricane Irene and tropical storm Lee so I did not expect to get scheduled right away. I made several calls to the company to schedule the job and was told that someone would call me to set up an appointment. No call back, no follow up. It is a shame, they sounded very nice on the phone and probably do good work. Update 01/03/2012. In response to the reply from Wagner Roofing: I never had a chance to schedule the work because I never received a phone call to discuss it with you. As you can see from my original comments above I gave latitude for scheduling; I was well aware of the storms impact on service providers. There was nothing to like or dislike about the schedule because there was none.

Now that Hurricane Irene has passed I wanted to add more praise for Wagner. My report from before said they made good and came back after 4 years and checked the work they had done around my chimney. They did not charge me and they came back and told me it was probably not the flashing around the chimney area but maybe it was the way the roof and siding were not sealed at the roof level and near to the side attic vent. They then sealed that area a few weeks ago.. So we waited to see what would happen with all this rain and it was wonderful.... No leaks after over 8 inches of rain...Wagner could have told me I needed a new roof or to replace that area but no... the expert roofer did what was right.. he found the problem and sealed it!! Thank you so much. It is so nice to work with honest people!

I requested estimates from several companies for a complete re-roof of my large Victorian home. Unfortunately several contractors arrived within the same time span to examine the property. Wagner was there first. When the other contractor arrived, Mr. Wagner offered to return at a later time to complete his measurements. I said that wasn't necessary as he was here first, but he repeated the offer to return later to complete his measurements. He is only a short distance from my property, so I concurred, thinking that was very civil of him. He never returned to complete the measurements. Several weeks have passed, last week my wife called the office to inquire if they were still interested in the work. The woman on the line said she would pass the message on. At this point my wife told her that an estimate delivered in a week would indicate their continued interest. More than a week has again passed with no reply or contact. I liked the reviews and the nearness of the company, however at this point I feel the lack of responsiveness prevents a business relationship with them.
