He arrived with the crew. they were very professional, they made sure that my property was protected. they were very efficient in their work. The contractor was very honest with me into the job knowing exactly what was going to happen and what was he was going to do. We had a situation like he was going to replace all the wood on my roof and I kind of expected some of the wood to be replaced. I wasn't quiet ready for all of it but as I said, he gave me a price before we started and we agreed that. The job went very smooth. He cleaned up very well. I'm extremely satisfied with him.

The entire experience with High Tech Roof was great. From the initial meeting with Gary (the owner) where he explained in detail all the line items in the proposal, to the completion of the my roof replacement. They followed the schedule as we agreed, the entire crew were very respectful , their price was very competitive & I was very satisfy with their workmanship.

Gary and his crew did an excellent job replacing the roof of our home. The price was very fair, and the crew worked around the clock until the job was completed. Gary did a good job communicating with us about the specifics of the job and when it would get done. We would use High Tech Roofing again for future projects.

Gary is incredible - very detail oriented, careful, and really listens to the customer to be sure that the work is done well and within budget. The issue I called him for was a few pieces of siding on our house were bowing outward. We got two other estimates - one very low and the other using scare tactics to try to get me to redo the siding on the whole house. Gary was honest in that the existing siding was generally in good shape and did not need to be replaced, but the cheaper estimate I received would not solve the problem because, due to where the problematic piece of siding was located, the scope of that work would not fully address the issue. He was able to carefully take off the existing siding from the roof down to the troubled spot and diagnose the problem (the nails used to hold the siding in weren’t long enough so the siding was only nailed into insulation, not wood). He had to replace some wood and use some new siding after tossing some warped pieces but other than that the job went off without a hitch. He had previously done work on my gutters and roof so this is the third job I’ve hired him for and, should I need anymore exterior work done in the future, he will always be my first call.

Gary and his crew did a great job! Arrived on time and even came on Sunday to finish the job. I got multiple estimates on my roof, his quote was the most competitive and he was the only person who gave me a write up of everything they would do. Gary is an honest guy, and knows roofing. I had a lack of soffit vents and Gary installed custom Owens Corning roof vents. His team studied what needed to be done, and did a great job. The clean up was great, they blew everything and picked up all the nails that come from the install. I would recommend Gary and his crew to anyone, great people, honest, on time. Thanks Gary! This is the third time we hired Gary and his company, High Tech Roofing. Great job every time! Many roofers do half jobs or messy work. Gary’s crew is neat and cleans up all the old shingles and nails. Uses top quality shingles and ice shields below. We had a new skylight out in as well as a new roof. All good!

This is the third time we’ve hired Gary and his crew. They did, as usual, an excellent job. New skylight and new roofing shingles for a loft roof that had been leaking. They clean up when done, and Gary is easy to communicate with.

Gary and his crew were excellent. His team did an excellent job of replacing my roof in just a few days. The house is built close to other homes and there were no issues from the neighbors. His crew also did an excellent job cleaning the site. There was an issue with a gutter after the roof was complete, but he came back quickly and fixed it immediately. Roof came out great, thanks Gary.

I called High Tech and Gary came to give an estimate. Unlike other companies which use drone and satellite images, he sent one of his crew up the roof and measure by hand. But the square feet they got are all close. Gary explained the roof replacement work in detail which was educational. His price is also quite good, so I hired the company. Six weeks later they finally found the time do it. The color was communicated on the first day of work. It took them two and half days to finish. The crew has 4 or 5 workers. They don't talk much but they are respectful. They put tarp to protect the plants surrounding the house. It was noisy and messy when they worked on the roof, which is not a surprise. But when they left, they clean up the job site pretty well, so there was no problem. The new roof looks very nice and neat. Overall, it was a straightforward process. They don't try to sell you anything fancy, just what you need.

80+ year old house some hiccups are to be expected. Gary & his crew never missed a beat. Their attention to detail was amazing, I would defiantly would use them again and highly recommend High Tech Roofing.

We hired Gary to replace the roof on our house, add a ridge vent, and also replace the roof on our garage.  The house is nearly 100 years old, so every project we do has “surprises”.  In this case, the wood on the house was mostly OK, but the wood on the garage and on one section of the house was in bad shape and needed to be replaced.  They also added some flashing in a few spots to protect the trouble areas in the future.   Gary called a few days ahead to let us know when he was ready to start.  The work started promptly each day and the team worked steadily on the two main days of the job.  There were a few brief slowdowns as they came across the problem areas and had to alter the plans, but nothing unreasonable. The only area where we were not fully satisfied was communication.  There was a final “fine tuning” day to follow the two full days, and that was moved around a few times without much warning.  I have enough flexibility in my schedule that I was able to adjust, but others might not.  Also, though I inquired about choosing our shingle color in advance, Gary pushed it off to the morning they started.  On the first day of work, the workers started removing the house roof before Gary and I were able to discuss the color I wanted.  This might be something that usually works out, but for me it was a little unnerving in an era where the phrase “supply chain issues” is common.  In the end the color we wanted was available (and we did have several backup color choices), but I would have felt better confirming the availability of our preferred color in advance. We are very happy with the quality of the work — the roof looks nice, and we are especially pleased to have the trouble spots taken care of.  The final cost after taking all the extra work into account was obviously higher than the original estimate, but the price was still quite reasonable for the amount of additional work they had to do.

We have hired Gary for roof work and skylights several times. He knows a lot about roofing, and is up front and fair with his quotes and work. The work is always what you expect. Excellent and neat. Excellent. Gary’s pricing was fair and reasonable, despite the difficult market right now in acquiring any construction supplies, and roofing supplies in particular. He kept us apprised of anticipated start date and started work in a timely fashion. He and his crew were careful and thorough, rather than rushing to get done, and the work quality was excellent. Any and all needed additional work- not unanticipated with a 30 year old roof, was explained and approved ahead of time. Post work site clean up was pristine. I enthusiastically recommend Gary and High Tech Roofing.

Gary Blindt and his excellent team just finished replacing all our gutters and downspouts today. We are delighted with every aspect of their work and recommend High Tech Roofing most highly. - We chose higher capacity 6" aluminum gutters to better cope with heavy downpours. The finished job looks absolutely great. Also, the new fasteners and brackets can not be seen -- unlike our previous gutters. Every segment was installed perfectly. Sections connecting the second floor gutter to the lower one in front were fitted properly, unlike the original job we inherited when we bought the house. - Gary and his men took special care with a couple of tricky features of our split level house -- for example, they fashioned a watertight S-curved leader to get around difficult features of our exterior sump pump pipe. Also, each new downspout is directed into the existing underground drainage pipes with a snug fit -- as though they had always been that way. - Our property was left spotless and clean, in what seemed like no time. Every single man was hard-working and friendly. - Finally, I can not say enough about how pleasant and professional Gary Blindt is. The job was done just as he said it would be done and looks even better than I ever imagined. Plus, he was very kind in several ways -- even booking our job in a way that was especially helpful for us, though his schedule is absolutely packed. When it the time comes to replace the siding on our house, he will be the man we'll call.
