Gary and his crew did an excellent job installing beautiful new roofs on our house, garage and shed. He was very professional and courteous in responding to our email requests, and he spent quite some time in doing research on various uncommon special shingles that we had asked him about. Eventually, we found that the exact shingles that he had recommended us from the very beginning offered the best tradeoff between durability, look and price. He arrived promptly with his crew, and he had them clean up after the job was finished. The inspector from the township praised their work as a "nice job". We got four estimates for our roof. Gary was the only one who recommended us the less pricey re-roof option instead of the much more expensive tear-off. Since the other three companies strongly recommended us the tear-off option, we were hesitant to take this less costly path. However, two other contractors (an energy auditor who used to work as a roofer, as well as a chimney guy) confirmed Gary's statement that our roof was in perfect condition for a re-roof without tear-off. I greatly appreciate Gary's honesty, which saved us between $2000 and $4000 in comparison to a tear-off that we would probably never have recouped. All in all, I can highly recommend Gary and his crew.

Our roof was severely damaged after Hurricane Sandy! We had tried to get estimates from another roofer but Gary Blindt was the man we were going with from our first meeting! Gary came to our home and actually went onto our roof to assess the damage. He verbally quoted a price for a complete replacement of our roof as well as a price for having another roof placed over the existing structure. A few days later, Gary sent us a formal written estimate, which included pricing for contingencies. Needlesss to say, the price was within the parameters of the quotes he gave us! We did have to wait a few weeks for him to begin the job (he is very busy) but I cannot say enough about how professional, detail oriented and courteous both he and his crew were! It took about 5 days for the roof to be replaced and the job completed but we are so totally happy with the job he did. WE MOST CERTAINLY WOULD USE HIM AGAIN AND WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE WHO ASKS!

Gary Blindt, the owner of High Tech Roofing, and his crew will not rest until the job is completed to your satisfaction. From initial estimate until completion Gary follows through on every question, phone call and on-site visit. High Tech Roofing recently completed a re-roof on my home, and they left my house in better shape than before they started. The job was completed quickly and they took away all debris ~ even the gutters were cleaned out! Detailed estimates leave no room for any confusion, and I recommend High Tech with highest confidence. Every home contractor should be this good.

Gary and His 4 man Team are very professional, punctual and they take their job very seriously. I had some storm damage from hurricane Sandy and Gary came to give me an estimate as soon as possible. Gary gave me such a great price on the roof of the house that I decided to also do my two car detached garage. Both the house n garage had 2 layers of old asphalt shingles. Gary's team did a complete ripped off the roof, it was the best thing I did cause I was able to see first hand in what condition the wood was in. Something I wouldn't Had been able to do if I would have done a patch job to save money. The wood was in very bad condition especially around the chimney area were it was rotted. Gary and his crew would promptly arrive every morning at 9am sharp and work until 5pm. What really impressed me was the complete clean up which was done each day before they left. They would not only throw alway all the garbage of the days work but would also Would go around the whole lawn and bushes picking up even the smallest pieces of shingles. I have had a lot of work done on the house so I know how some contractors Don't take as much time on the clean up part if at all. As a matter of fact Gary is so nice that he agreed to throw away the wood rails of my second floor deck for free, that another Contractor decided to just leave on my backyard for me to handle. This right here is saving me money cause even throwing away garage cost money. So I would Like to personally thank Gary and his Crew on doing a Excellent job on my house which now looks brand new n beautiful and for giving me and my family peace of mind knowing that with this new roof I won't have water coming into the house. It took 3 days to complete the work by a 4 man team. They not only cleaned up after the job, they also cleaned up old shingles that were in my yard from hurricane Sandy. The workers were very professional and the roof came out great.

Gary?s team ripped off and replaced the old asphalt shingles on our two story single family and the commercial style roof on our detached garage. The work was completed in stages as a result of the weather conditions in December, 2012. The right side of the roof was a challenge because of its proximity to the neighboring home. Gary?s team used tarps and plywood sheets to prevent damage to the neighbor?s property and cleaned up any tar marks left on the neighbors siding. The neighbor was happy with the end result. The price of the job was reasonable and I was satisfied with the end result.

Gary and his team were punctual, and more importantly honest. He told me straight away that he had other emergency storm related jobs he needed to get to first - as my roof / temp. tarp would be watertight for a couple of weeks - and when I could expect him. He did the work as promised - and came in exactly on the estimated cost. Would Hire Again.

My telephone call was returned promptly and a time was set up for an estimate. Gary arrived on time and the estimate was very reasonable. He arrived the next with workers and completed our roof repair. It looks great and they were very neat. I would highly recommend!

Gary was a professional from start to finish. Hurricane Sandy blew shingles off my roof and deystroyed gutters and drainpipes. I called numerous roofers from Angie's list who never gave me a response. I saw Gary's name on Angie's list so I gave him a call. I left a message and within 30 minutes he returned my call.I told him my situation and he was at the house in a few hours to give me an estimate. His price was reasonable and he said he could do the job in two days. He came two days later to do the job. The work was fantastic. Gary and his crew were always polite and professional. I was extremely satisfied and would definately use him again.

Gary and his crew are top notch. From start to finish, Gary and his crew did a great job. He was easy to get a hold of, and punctual. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for roofing or siding work.

Overall, this was the best home contracting experience I have had in over 20 years of remodeling and maintaining my 80+ years old homes, and I consider myself a demanding customer. I first hired HiTech Roofing to replace the roof on my rental cottage. Gary, the proprietor, responded promptly to my RFP and gave me a detailed written estimate for premium materials requested by me, with provisions for anything unexpected encountered during the job. He communicated in advance when the job would start and showed up promptly. Gary stuck to the schedule (weather permitting) and supervised the entire job on site. The quality of the work was first rate, thanks in large part to his seasoned crew who have worked with Gary for many years. Gary listened to my suggestions regarding some customized solutions, and made adjustments to address any concerns. Kudos also for the thoroughness of the cleanup after the job was done. Given my satisfaction with the roofing job, I hired Gary two weeks later to redo the siding and fascia on the weather facing side of my home, with additional insulation. This was again a "custom" job because most of the removed aluminum siding had to be salvaged for reuse so it would match the rest of the house, and extreme precautions had to be taken to weatherproof the walls from wind and horizontal rain. Gary and his crew completed the job in time and exactly as specified. Finally, I had Gary install a replacement window in my rental cottage. He spent extra time to ensure the window was completely sealed all around. Great job! Gary is an honest contractor who stands behind his work. He aims for 100% customer satisfaction, doesn't cut corners, is willing to listen to the customer, and his crew is the best I have seen. Given all of the above I consider his pricing very competitive. I have no reservations to hire HiTech Roofing again in the future.

The quote was good, but we didn't go with them because their quote wasn't as comprehensive as another company that quoted us. I'm sure the quality would have been as good. I feel like the other company's quote was more transparent. There was fewer questions and fewer add-ons.

My roof and siding are complete but once again I contacted High Tech for some additional work, There is a shed in my backyard and it looked a bit shabby against the new house siding. I asked if it too could be sided to match the house. When it was first built, the door was hung wrong, cutting off some storage space. Well, the door was set right and the shed now matches the house. Looks great! I also decided on shutters for the front windows of the house. Mr. Blindt just called to advise me they are in and ready to be hung at my convenience. I’m ready to plant my spring flowers and show off and enjoy my beautiful home. Thanks High Tech for making my home prettier and easier to handle. Maybe I should put you on speed dial. Early spring 2012, I was pleased to find out that High Tech did siding as well as roofing. Mine was in total disrepair. Mr. Blindt from High Tech came to check out my home, bringing samples at my request ,and was prepared to answer all my questions. I wanted to make educated and informed choices. This was a big task for me. To make it easier to decide, he showed me some of the homes he’d done. The personal visual made it easier to see colors in “real time” and to appreciate his handiwork. His creativity with your choice of styling and color made a great showing. Not the same as all the other houses in your neighborhood but a step above. He tries to work with your payment options and choices but best of all to me, he communicates! You’re not left wondering about what the day will bring. Any change of schedule, like iffy weather or such, he calls immediately to inform you, so you know what to do with your own schedule. In the past with other companies, I would often be left hanging. Not so with High Tech. And if you have a question and he’s not in the office, leave a message and he gets back to you ASAP. He and his crew are friendly, knoweledgeable and committed workers. They take pride in their work. On a personal level, I have some trouble walking and without a fuss , they would take a garbage bag from my hand and toss it in the trash bin or guide my elderly dog to the back yard when she had to go out. Courteous help done without making a big deal of it. And it was much appreciated. And as they may, many complications stepped in. The house is 59 years old and when the old siding came down it exposed many weak termite eaten wood areas from past years. It wasn’t covered up; it was replaced & reinforced making a sturdier base. I don’t think I’ll ever have to worry about it. When the job was done, and they packed up, there was nothing left behind except my newly renovated beautiful home. My review is from a woman’s point of view but what a blessing it was to find genuine straight talking hard workers who gave you good work and good value. Male neighbors and family watched over all the technical stuff but there was no need. No problems, just a lot of satisfaction. .Thank you High Tech. My inside porch roof collapsed on the day of my Mothers burial. A neighbor offered a referral and I was in no mood to research, so I accepted I should have known better as my parents and I were plagued by contractors who didn’t show up, didn’t communicate or do a proper job throughout the years. I was very disillusioned. However, Gary Blint and his crew turned out to be completely different. Prompt, courteous and knowledgeable, they replaced the roof the day before Hurricane Irene 2011. Under all the threats of the coming hurricane for the next day, they worked diligently and seriously to get done in time. I was amazed to admit that the job was performed perfectly and when the storm ended the following day, there was neither a drop of water that leaked in nor a shingle missing.
