Description of Work: Marksmen removed a previously emptied and cleaned oil tank from my crawl space. They were punctual, coming to provide an estimate, then completing the work per schedule. Good communications, good "can-do" attitude, great work.

Description of Work: I had originally hired a different company to remove my oil tank, but they were not able to handle the massive work that needed to be done for remediation. |Marksmen Enterprise was then recommended to me. |They first came to me and explained the job they needed to perform. They were straight foward about the extent of the work, but at the same time they were very aware of my feelings. |The work to be performed involved structural support to my home and my neighbors home. The soil remediation was under my driveway and also under my home. The groundwater was also contaminated. |Every part of the work that needed to be done, was performed by excellent and caring workers, from the owner of the company, the project managers that were here everyday, and the workers who performed all aspects in completing the job. |I am now in the process of waiting for the NFA letter, and I know that if it wasn't for the professional and caring nature of Marksmen Enterprise, I would still be waiting for the original company to figure things out. |All Marksmen employees have my deepest gratitude and I would highly recommend them to anyone, no matter how small or how extensive your job may be. Description of Work: Marksmen installed a new oil tank to replace an old one that was corroding. They gave me a solid estimate, performed the work when scheduled, and finished the job in half a day (note that it was an indoor tank, not underground). Their price was reasonable and their service was excellent- highly recommended.

Description of Work: Removed 550 gal. underground oil tank and Installed above ground tank in basement. When the tank was removed it was determined that the tank had been leaking oil into the ground. They came back and excavate until the grounds were clear of any contamination. A view weeks after the hole was filled we had a severe rain storm which caused the sand to sink. We called and within an hour the came and filled the hole. Everyone at Marksmen Enterprises was exceptionally professional and helpful.

Description of Work: We had to remove an underground 550 gallon heating oil tank. Marksman was one of the providers authorized by Proguard, our oil tank insurance provider. We chose Marksman because of their Angie's list ratings, having no knowledge in the area. Marksman was excellent throughout the process, from initial contact, through initial excavation, to finding some contamination in the soil, to handling the lab submission and keeping the hole filled while we waited for permission from the lab to proceed. They were very careful, including of our adjoining slate walkway. Once the process was completed they did an excellent restoration job on the grass over the filled hole and also where their heavy truck had to come on our lawn to remove contaminated dirt. The Marksman staff were all a pleasure to deal with Anyone contemplating this process should DEFINITELY have an insurance policy with Proguard (who were also excellent and physically present all the waay through the process). Thr Proguard deductible for the process was I believe an additional $2500, but we heard horror stories from others where the whole process could cost $50,000 to $70,000 if the contamination was deep, extensive, or involved ground water. Since there doesn't seem to be any way to evaluate the degree of contamination (if any) until the job is underway and reports have to be made to the state, whatever condition is found has to be officially remediated before a black mark against the property can be removed. Anyone contemplating underground tank removal in our opinion MUST have Proguard or some similar policy IN EFFECT BEFORE STARTING THE JOB.

Description of Work: Fantastic company and people from the receptionist, to the men that did the job. They knew exactly what they were doing. They were friendly and conscious of leaving everything swept and clean. They did it in no time and there were no hidden costs. Our inspector recommended them also highly. He said we had the best.

Description of Work: Marksmen replaced my underground tank. They removed, inspected, and then replaced it with a model above ground.
