Admiral Climate Control

I heard about Admiral Climate from a colleague who spoke highly of the work they did and they did not disappoint. From the initial appointment and estimate with Steve through working with Lisa in the office and the installation crew everything went really smoothly. We needed a combi heater/hot water boiler replacement as well as adding an additional zone. The installation crew were punctuated, worked very clean and knowledgeable. Once they were done with the installation they walked me through how to use the new unit, installing the app for remote monitoring, etc. Highly recommend.

In a word, fantastic. From our on-site meeting where Steve assessed the need, the quote, which was the best of the four I obtained from local HVAC providers, to installation and follow-up, the team at Admiral far exceeded expectations. Having over 30 years in construction, years of dealing with the trades, I am always pleased to be able to recommend a company for their work and the way they do business. Thank you for a great job you guys did replacing my old rusty oil tank. My experience was pleasant right from the beginning, when Steve showed up on time to inspect my old tank, getting a quote, and all the way to your crew actually replacing it. The crew was knowledgeable, were here when scheduled, and got the job done. Even though they were presented with some unknown technical challenges with my old tank and burner, they worked them all out. Great guys to watch work, and they did a great, neat job, especially considering how dirty of a job it really was. From the owner Steve quoting, to Lisa in the office going over billing and the two techs - Jeremy and Wayne it was a very professional, comfortable experience. Communication was constant as to what needed to be done, permitting, time frame etc. This was new to us after having our initial install 12 years ago be done by a hack contractor who cut many corners, had no permit and so on. We hired another local firm to do some repairs a couple of years ago and will never do business with again. The team at Admiral totally made up for all the other bad experiences and left my wife and feeling very satisfied that we had a great install and will be all set for years to come.

Brandon arrived on time for the appointment. He quickly confirmed my suspicion that the fan motor in the outside compressor unit needed to be replaced. He called a few suppliers to track down the part, and then did a quick cleaning of the unit while awaiting return calls. He identified a source and soon had the part in hand. Due to the age of the unit, he had some difficulty disassembling the old fan, and ultimately had to take it back to the Admiral shop to machine a satisfactory mounting to the new motor. What had started as an early appointment ended up being a full day of work. I was concerned about the rising labor cost as the day went on, but with the onset of a heatwave forecast it was an “in for a penny, in for a pound” situation. When all was said and done Brandon had the unit up and running. I didn’t speak directly with Brandon’s boss, Steve, but he was very accommodating in making an adjustment to the bill that we could be comfortable with. It ended up being cost of parts, labor that would normally be required for the job, plus a quite reasonable additional charge for dealing with the complications of an aging unit. The bottom line was more than I initially projected it would be, but hundreds less than I feared it was becoming. I’m a happy customer.

Admial removed 2 massive oil tanks and 30 year old boiler, without a scratch in our newly renovated home, installed a new propane system including boiler, water heater and propane tanks. Install took a day. Was able to find a NH rebate for $500 for the unit they installed which helped control costs.

I was extremely happy that they were able to accommodate my service call the same day, which I know isn't always the case. This home is new to me and I didn't have a 'go to' HVAC company yet. I was very happy with the service. I fell the per hour service rate is fair and in line with the area.

They were the most knowledgeable of all the companies I contacted. They answered all my questions, explained my options and gave me a quote that was competitive with the others I had received. The installation was smooth and painless. I could not be happier with their service.

Due to my neglect this was not a simple yearly cleaning and service, but the end results where great. Dennis arrived promptly Wednesday morning just before 8 AM, and got right to it. Upon opening the furnace up it was clear I was going to need some parts, the 2 end gaskets came appart in his hands. After getting started with the cleaning, it was apparent that a couple of the baffels where stuck and where going to need to be replaced. He got right on the phone and got the parts ordered, unfortunatly, they where 2 days away. Dennis again arived promptly on Friday to contine the work while waiting for UPS to deliver the parts. He continued cleaning the furnace to the point the only thing left was to install the new parts, just to find out UPS had them on the wrong truck and they whould not arrive until later that day. He then headded off to another call letting me know he would be back as soon as he had the parts in hand. The parts did not arrive until late, he informed me that he could come back between 7:30 and 8 AM on Saturday to finish the job. Saturday morning, right on time as promised. He completed the work and all is good. It was more expensive than just a claning, it did take some time time to get it back to its tip-top state and Dennis was all buisness, no breaks, no personal calls, no checking email. While he was at my house, he was working on the furnace, something you dont see any more. PS: These guys did the origial install of my furnace, and everyone that I have had do a cleaning over the years (oil company or their vendors) would tell me how well the installation was done. I should have been using Admiral all the time, but I had bought into the and quot;you should use your oil delivery company for serviceand quot; mentality.

They were professional and helpful. There was an issue with the forced hot water pipes after they replaced the boiler, and they came back right away to fix it. The boiler has been in place for two years now and has worked flawlessly. They also serviced my gas fireplace and replaced a part. It has also worked perfectly since their service.

They wer referred to me by my oil company. I would use them in the future. I had no problems with them.
