Incorrectly installed the unit and had to return to correct the mistakes. The system has never worked completely correctly since and they never processed my rebate, resulting in me losing out on $700 of savings.

They did a fantastic job installing our central air unit. They showed up on the day they were scheduled and had everything installed on the same day. Very professiona. I would recommend their service.

We needed a new boiler in Manchester, they came out on Sunday to quote which was great. We scheduled the job, they got everything done in a day. New boiler works great, it was a price we could afford, and the workmanship looks excellent. We are very happy with the new boiler.

I would recommend Bill and his sonâ  s to anyone needing hvac work. All their workers were very conscientious and professional. I couldnâ  t be happier with the AC units that they recommended.

I would use this company again in a heartbeat. They were excellent. They sent a 4 man crew and installed the new furnace in a short amount of time. When they were done they showed me exactly how the new furnace works. The crew was polite and neat as a pin. I did a lot of research and they had the best pricing too.

They were recommended thru home advisor along with some others and I almost decided to use one of the other recommendations because I also needed something done which didn't involve heating and air conditioning which is why I almost didn't hire them but Bill McGinley was persistent gave me a great price and the quality of work was A plus. I'm totally satisfied would not hesitate recommending Bill and his sons. I got more for less without sacrificing quality . In this day and age that's a very pleasant surprise!

I hired McGinley & Sons on July 17th 2019 to; Remove my furnace Remove my AC Install new furnace Install new AC Install zone dampeners Wire a 2nd Floor Thermostat So far I have a furnace installed (but with 2 code violations), Zone Dampeners, no A/C, no powered 2nd floor thermostat. Coming up on a year since I paid the total amount upfront and I have no ETA as to when my work will be completed. Start with the good: 1) When they do work it is pretty decent work 2) Bill is a veteran nice guy when you're talking outside of HVAC 3) They are the best priced by far (there's a reason for this) Now to the bad: 1) During this year because of partial and lack of install, I have been without heat 4 times. (To Bill's credit when I have been without heat he has found a way to fix it but not completed all outstanding work) 2) I have been promised that the work would be completed 17 different times and then a no show. 3) To make amends for how ridiculously long and overdue this install has been Bill offered me a refund of $500 - as you can probably guess, this has never been paid. What it seems to me is that I think Bill's team gets large jobs (HVAC for a new set of condos etc) and when those jobs kick in, we who are just one-off get firmly put on the back burner for huge amounts of time. One of his selling points was that he has lower administrative overhead compared to the bigger companies around so he can offer lower prices - this may be true but it's probably why his company couldn't organize a bun fight in a bakery. If I had the chance to do this again would I pick Bill? No. I think I'd pay 50% more for a more reliable company just to avoid the 10 months of headaches and chasing I've had to do. If I had the chance to do it again what would I do differently and my advice to anyone considering hiring him? 1) Only sign a contract with an agreed installation date, with a stipulation that if that date is missed then a penalty of 10-25% is due from Bill and company. 2) Avoid paying anything upfront, he might insist on 50% upfront but the contract protects you both and motivates him and his team to get the work done. I think if you can stick to those two rules you will not have the mediocre service I have had to encounter. For me I've now handed it over to the BBB as I thought they might be able to talk some sense into him otherwise I think I would have my lawyer sue his company for breach and negligence. Make sure you protect yourself from a legal standpoint if you engage Bill and company - again they will do good work when/if they turn up.

Overall they were very good. I had them replace my Oil boiler, which they did a decent job on...after they installed and left, I started hearing air in pipes. They came out fixed right away. I recommend them as they seem to really care about the customer and will do anything to satisfy them before and after installation.

Very professional. Was able to send additional installers that day and completed the work 2 hours earlier than planned. I can do plumbing, the job they did was great. Very clean their work and how they left the sight. I have recommended them to a neighbor.

I just moved to New Hampshire from Connecticut so I use HomeAdvisor which listed McGinley and Sons. I saw all FIVE STAR ratings and I'm giving them the same only because I cant go any higher or it would be 10 stars. The business owner fully explained to me in my home during the quote what would work best in my condo. The crew (sons & coworkers) were an amazing team to watch at work and since I am retired manufacturing production manager I know when team works and knows exactly what they are doing. The most important thing I can say is they are all experts in this HVAC field. The task I had was to install a split unit installed, 2 heads, 18000 BTU living room & 7000 BTU in the master bedroom in which everything was done in less then 1 working day. Trust me, this is who you want if your questioning who to hire for your heating or AC job. My Thanks again McGinley & Sons, I thank you for a job well done above our expectations.

Had to postpone once , no ones fault. Took about a 1 1/2 very professional answered all are questions Bill drove over an hour to meet us and get things rolling .Very pleased. Would hire them again. Price tag was very reasonable $2600.00 for removal and install .

They were supposed to finish the job Nov 1st...it is now mid December and the job is not finished and when I contact the boss I get no response

Hired them a year ago to replace the heaters in my 4 unit apartment building. That was October of 2018. They took out the existing equipment and installed only part of the equipment for two of my units. Not hooked up or working - then they walked away. I had to use emergency backup space heaters and they were not enough. In late January we had three pipes freeze and burst. After taking half the money for the job and doing less than a quarter of the work I have suffered $50,000.00 in damage to my property and have not heard from these conmen since February. If you like your home do not hire these conmen!

Bill, his two sons, and two additional employees arrived on time and spent the entire day (approximately 11 hours) installing a new boiler as well as a new hot water tank, outside venting and a new oil line. Importantly, the crew was able to put both the boiler and hot water tank in a very confined area, thus eliminating having to use a portion of our basement that was designed (and being used) for storage. Though it's only been a week since the work was completed, everything is working properly and we anticipate that it will continue. As a result of the satisfaction we've experienced, I've already been asked to supply information referent to the company's workmanship, efficiency, proficiency, and cost to a good friend whose home is in need of boiler replacement.

Bill was fantastic at answering questions. The crew that he has working for him are organized, efficient and work well as a team. They are all positive, friendly and eager to help. Wonderful job all around. I highly recommend them all.!

Now that it's all said and done - I'm happy with the new boiler system that was installed and I'm looking forward to the efficiency savings I'll see. That being said, this process took much longer than it should have and if you have a busy schedule this may not be the right company for you. I first talked to them about a new installation (I believe) sometime in May of 2019. I booked upfront for 50% down. We scheduled the installation on July 16th because they had a ton of A/C installs to do. I wasn't in a rush so that's no big deal. July 15th came (or the morning of the 16th) and I got a call saying they needed to reschedule. Ok - no problem. August rolls around and I am ready for them to arrive, no one's here... I call to see what's going on and I was told they wouldn't be making it. Ok fine. Long story short. They canceled on me 2 (or 3) times in total. I can't even remember anymore. Either way, the install finally happened on the 19th of September. Fortunately for me - I work from home so their arrival did not make a difference to me but if I had scheduled time off from workt to be home on these several different occasions for the install I would have been VERY upset. Overall the boiler looks really sharp, it's clean & in a small compact area. A huge improvement from our 30 yr old system. Their price was also really reasonable for what you get.

The young men who do the work for Bill are knowledgeable and very good at their jobs. I would definitely recommend this company.
