This was the worst experience I have ever had dealing with a company. The new system was not sized correctly for our 2800 sqft home (they gave us a 2 ton 1 zone system, should have been a 4 ton dual zone minimum). They charged us for permits but never pulled them for the propane or had it inspected. they used the wrong type of ducts for our home, they wired the unit incorrectly so the unit would still run even when the system was off, they wired a 12 guage wire into a 20 amp circuit (major fire hazard) they told us on 2 seperate occasions that the system had been tested and was operational, but the propane was never hooked up to it. The forgot to turn the circuit breaker for the A/C back on when they were done working on it and when we called them because they A/C wasn't working they said it was because we needed another cold air return run (at a charge of 400.00) and then figured out the breaker was off AFTER they installed the new return. They left a HUGE mess at my house, plus knocked down a huge hole in my ceiling when they cut it wrong. I called several times and they refused to return my calls until I threatened to bring the fire inspector to their office because of the permit issue, then I got a call back in 20 minutes. I could go on and on about the errors this company made, but to make a long story short, they were unprofessional and when I finally got the owner to come out and look, he never once apologized, he did however agree to take the whole system out and refund our money.

I told the installers when the brought the air conditioner to my house it had a tag on it that stated it`s rating and it was not what I had asked for. They called the owner and he told them to tell me the furnace coil would give the air conditioner the correct rating. I have since discovered from the manufacturer this is not true. The owner (Matt) told me last year he would give me the air conditioner I paidfor. I am still waiting. It has lost gas every year and I had to call them back two years in a row. This year I called in a different company which discovereda leak at a cost of over four hundred dollars to find the leak and recharge the system.

It was a horrible 16 month ordeal. In the end, the company came back and corrected the bad piping, but they never addressed the bad furnace. I had to work with another company who contacted the furnace supplier and they came out and replaced the furnace. This is what Total Climate Control should have done in the first place, but they shirked their responsibility. I will never ever hire this company again.

I used to use my oil provider for services but their tune up costs have risen too high. TCC charges $99 for a tune up and for $109 you can pay for next years's tune up, free service calls (normally $79) and 10% off any work that needs to be done. For an extra $20 I thought was a great deal. They were prompt, professional and were what you expect from any service company coming to your home.
