Lou Topia Hardwood Flooring

Lou and his son run this family business and do all kinds of hardwood jobs from install to refinish. We used him to refinish a room (baby on the way's) that had carpet in it previously. The before and after pictures would shock you, stains came out, scuffing gone, and he used a matte/satin finish to match it more closely with the other less freshly finished floors in the neighboring rooms with hardwood. He responded quickly via phone calls, provided very efficient service - from phone call to finished room, less than one week and he was reasonably priced. All in all I would highly recommend him again and look forward to giving him more of my business when we have more flooring to do.

LOU AND HIS SON DID AN EXCELLENT JOB REFINISHING MY KITCHEN WOOD FLOOR. VERY ACCOMMODATING IN SCHEDULING AND COMPLETING THE JOB. THEY DID THE JOB WITH VERY LITTLE DUST AND VACUUMED WHAT LITTLE DUST WAS LEFT. I WOULD RECOMMEND LOU TO MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY.

Lou and his son were very accommodating in scheduling our project in a timely fashion and completing the work before we moved in to our new home. We had 3 bedrooms and our living room floor refinished and their work was superior. They sealed off all doorways to prevent any dust from the halls...and there was minimal at that. I also appreciated the phone call each afternoon with a status of the work completed. Very professional and would recommend them to friends and family.

Lou and his son did an excellent job installing wood flooring in our family room and master bedroom. He coordinated the removal of the existing carpeting, installation of the wood floor and then he (& his son) finished the floors. He was polite and easy to work with and always kept us updated about the project status.

Mr. Topia and his son, as a subcontractor on a home renovation project, refinished the hardwood flooring in a large living room area and the steps in second floor staircase. The company did a great job, doing a very professional job in all aspects of the project. They also did some incidentals that were not in the the original scope. Lou is professional and his work is meticulous.He was very clear about what he would do and when. We refinished two rooms. One room in which the floors were is very poor shape by the back door...they now look like new. Gorgeous! He called everyday to check during the process and was very clean. Highly recommended.

Excellent! My floors were in bad shape...severe sun damage, old brown stain, and deep cuts from botched sanding by previous homeowner. Lou did a great job. I never expected them to turn out as great as they did. Lou is a good guy too. Honest straight shooting professional. True to his word. He's the guy you want doing your floors.

Lou was great- our floors look fabulous. We just bought the home and ripped up some hideous carpet to find some pretty beautiful floors underneath. Lou was able to give us an accurate quote over the phone and was able to guide us as first time homeowners through the process of caring for the floors, choosing color and a low maintenance finish. We bought our first house a few weeks ago, and pulled the rugs up to find beautiful hard wood floors, but they were in need of work. Lou came and looked at them and gave us a very affordable quote and gave his advice on how to make these old floors look like new. Not only did he sand and refinish our floors he also helped us repair spots that had flooring missing. He was also very accommodating to our schedule, and started work almost immediately. This floor had been covered by a carpet for many years, and had some problem areas. Lou did a beautiful job, it looks like a new floor. He was here exactly when promised, even coming on a Saturday morning for the final coat. We will be using Louis Topia Flooring for our future projects.
