Arrived one hour late without calling. Replaced the on/off valve and about 12" of plastic pipe. On the job one hour. Bill was over $500! Asked for a breakdown of parts and labor. Plumber replied that he couldn't give me that breakdown! Nice person - - got the job done - - but the price was staggering.

Mr. Rooter was the only company that was willing to tackle the job of crawling under my mobile home to connect piping so I could have an outdoor faucet. Everyone was very curtious, informative, the representative was on time, and the job was done in one day.

Update: I previously wrote a review that gave Mr. Rooter a 5 on work quality, a 5 on service and 1/2 on price, and said I would not use them again, because I felt like I overpaid. Mr. Rooter followed up with me and said they were fully committed to satisfying their customers. They listened and empathized to my concerns and said they wanted to make me a happy customer. They provided me with a 5 year membership worth $99 at no charge, which would allow me to have them come out and give me an estimate on a job at no cost, even if I did not select them to perform the service. Because I was happy with their service and quality of work, I felt this was a good response to my concerns. As a result, I will definitely call them in the future for an estimate and consider them for any future needs I may have. They sincerely demonstrated their desire to have a happy customer. Previous Comment: Mr. Rooter called me within 30 seconds of making my posting on HomeAdvisor. I asked them to give me an estimate to install a MOEN Kitchen Sink Faucet I had purchased. They said they could have someone out the next day to do the install but could not give me a price until they came out and looked at the job. I asked if they could they at least give me a range. They said without seeing the job they could not. I asked if there was a fee for someone to come out. They said there would be a $50 charge only if I chose not to have them do the work. I said OK have a guy come out. A nice guy from Mr. Rooter came the next day I and looked at my setup. I asked what it would cost and he said he would check his standard price list. He opened a notebook to faucet replacement and showed me a price of approximately $320 and it would take about an hour. I said I felt that was way too high and if I said no I was going to be out $50 just to get that high quote. I continued to say I did not feel that was fair and he showed me their membership price column which was $274 and asked if I would I like to become a member. I said I did not want to pay to become a member just to get a reduced cost for a price I thought was way too high to begin with. He then offered me a one-time membership discounted price without becoming a member if I would authorize him to do the work. I had calls out to two others for quotes but no response yet to make any comparisons. I was in an awkward position with their quick response I had no comparative information and was going to be out $50 dollars if I said no. Rather than being $50 down before I got my next bid I took the $274 deal. However, I felt I was set up; they have a standard price book so why would they not give me a price range quote over the phone? In summary I found their service response time was excellent, their quality of work was excellent but was too expensive. I felt I was set up and felt I overpaid for what I got. I will never use Mr. Rooter again.

After my concerns they contacted me immediately and apologized. They have consistently been in contact to resolve the issues. It shows they truly care about their customers.

Friendly and courteous , install done efficiently. Disappointed with overall costs..too expensive for a single faucet.

Plumber caused more problems than I had. 2 days later I had a guy show up with no tools and fixed my issues in half the time. They took no responsibility and charge way too much.

They have a gimmick to get you to spend more money ro save money, plus even though I hired them there prices are higher

I was very pleased that Mr. Rooter was able to get someone to my condo the same day I called. Amber from the office staff was very pleasant and easy to talk to. Jeremy, the plumber who came, cleared the blockage and also installed a new garbage disposal that I previously purchased. His work was professional and careful, and he worked steadily to finish both jobs. He brought everything he needed and was ready to work as soon as he entered the kitchen. He was very careful to put down a tarp to protect the sink cabinet. The sink drains perfectly now, and the new disposal works fine. The work cost about what I expected. I would hire Mr. Rooter again for any new plumbing problems.
