Within less than 12 hours, I contacted the company for the first time, explained the problem and had a new hot water heater up and running. Cost was higher than expected, but service person was professional and courteous and did a fabulous job.

This company uses a flat rate to estimate the work, independent of the amount of time and material. The technician was polite, knowledgeable and completed the work in about 1.5 hours. The flat rate was in excess of $400.00 much higher than I would have expected to pay .

If there are fixtures being replaced, make sure you get a chance to select the fixtures.

I lost hot water, had a technician at the house, who replaced the circulator. Then hot water stopped working 2.5 days later, another tech came and purged the line, Service worked for less than a day, and the original tech identified that I also needed a new expansion tank. Tech's were nice and very friendly. I ended up getting a different local plumber to do the work (just for pricing and timing reasons). Kieth (owner of Mr. Rooter) was nice enough to reach out to me again to understand the difficulties I faced in the crunch to get the system up and going, and he used it as a learning experience for his team. He was friendly, understanding and made right on it billing/cost disparity. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, these guys care about their brand and I am encouraged to use them again. Their around the clock availability and friendly techs are great when your caught in a last minute emergency!!

Job was pricey, serviceman was knowledgeable,pleasant, on time, and helpful with his tips. The job was done right.

Pleasant serviceman. Came the next day as it was the weekend. I had a backed up toilet that needed to be augured. A little pricey, but did the job right.

These guys came out because we were required to get our natural gas pipe up to code and Unitil pushed us to them. They installed the pipe for around $900, and then our furnace stopped working all of a sudden and we had no issues at all before. When I looked at the job done, the pipe was off center and not sealed where it entered the burner chamber. They fixed that at no cost, but I was confused as to why they thought the shoddy work was acceptable in the first place. Then the furnace stopped working. When they were called out to look at it, it was discovered that the burners had been knocked off of their axis and they were asking who I had down there messing with the furnace (it was only them to replace the pipe that was out of code). They claimed that the burners being knocked off axis was not related to the shoddy work from before and I coughed up $152 to have the burners fixed. A couple of weeks later, the blower stopped working even though the pilot fired. This was not related to the prior work and Rooter came out and diagnosed that the control board was blown and would put in a new control board (a $77 part) for $913 (member rate). When they arrived to put in the new control board, they hooked it up and now NOTHING WORKS. They put in a second control board and NOTHING WORKS. They then told me they were unable to fix the problem, and wouldn't be attempting to, and to call someone else. They gave me a number to call and left, leaving the furnace covers open on the ground and the broken control board improperly wired back into place. Perhaps they are good plumbers, but I would avoid them for any furnace related work. I will say the guys were very nice and seemed demoralized at the end of the ordeal. Overall though, I'm very dissatisfied, and still don't have heat.

They were prompt and timely. They were also clean and friendly, and did job accurately. The also completed the job in quick time.

We had our sewer system backing up to the house. He tried to cear it but it wasn't working so we had to have the septic tank pumped. Overall the man that came to the house was courteous and professional.

Arrived within 30 minutes of call. Only took about 5 minutes to replace faucet.

I had a leak in the pipe when I turned my water to my washing machine on for the first time. I immediately went online to Home Advisor because I've had great service from them in the past. I received a call within 1 minute from Mr. Rooter and they were out within 2 hours. He replaced the valves and did a great job.

Other companies wanted to dig a trench that included destroying my driveway, to replace the main sewer line. Mr. Rooter dug two holes, one just outside my house and the other in the corner of my property where my sewer line met the city sewer. They snaked a cable back to my house. Using an hydraulic winch, they pulled a metal head back through the pipe, breaking it apart while simultaneously laying a new pipe. Much less invasive than digging a trench through my driveway. I highly recommend Mr. Rooter.

The plumber was friendly and honest and gave me an up front estimate. I had been trying to get my regular plumber out to the house for three weeks to repair a leaking toilet shut off valve but he was too busy. Mr Rooter came out the same day I called. The plumber also ended up needing to replace some old brass plumbing that was attached in the basement. Work quality was very good. Thank you!

They were fantastic! Very honest and professional. Quite a novelty these days. Would highly recommend them to my friends and family and I know I would hire them again.
