Description of Work: Came out to diagnose my central AC issue. To replace the coil they wanted $4500. I said no needless to say. Was $85 just to look at it. Their work is no better than anyone else's, but they charge way more. I could replace the whole system for less than $4500.

Description of Work: Performance and punctuality were excellent, but cost for installation of a toilet which we had bought and paid for .... was too much.

Description of Work: They arrived quickly to give an estimate for a busted waterheater replacement. The the estimate was thousands more than a competitor. So I had to pay for their estimate. Went with the competition.

Description of Work: I did have Heritage plumbing heating and cooling at work on my house. Initially they came to do a heating inspection/cleaning. I used a coupon they had online for 99 dollars. When they inspected my heating unit they put it out of service indicating it needed to be replaced immediately we were in the heating season and they had somebody come by in three days to give us an estimate for new heating unit the cost for the heating unit was $7500 installed. They did not even credit me the $99 towards the new heating unit also after they finished installing the heating unit I had noticed it was leaking air because this is the fourth time there and when they were trying to set up the inspection on the final inspection to get the town to sign off I mention this to them. I had mentioned to someone on more than one occasion that the air was leaking. When they came to fix the leak we should also talk to them about having a rumbling sound going to the house only when the heating unit was on. They said for another $1600 they could install a bypass to reduce the rumbling. I had said they didn't even mention that when we came to mention the purchase of the heating unit. The individual who we came for the repair said they could probably do the installation for $1200 to alleviate the headaches that we had with the installation of the unit so far. I really think that the bypass should've been included. I am also not particularly happy with the fact that when I called to schedule the final inspection and spoke to Jim went by the name of Dennis we left it that they would come in about three weeks and I say that because I was in Utah when they want to do the inspection so I scheduled it when I will be home from Utah. When the day came that they were supposed to do the inspection they called me and said will be at the house in 30 minutes in the morning when in fact the inspection is set up for the afternoon. At that particular time I was grocery shopping more than 30 minutes away. I had told him that I could be there in about 4045 minutes and we ended up rescheduling the inspection. For a $7500 purchase I really think I should've got a better value for the dollar that I spent. I have not spoken to anybody at heritage except for this Dennis individual to do the rescheduling and then the individual who came and did the repair and house. I would have to say I would rate them a B/C for confession confirming with me the plans the pricing and overall customer service.

Description of Work: I would give Heritage an "F" grade, primarily for having me over a barrel and charging me the exhorbitant fee of more than $500 to replace a water valve. I will NEVER use them again, and I plan on calling the AG's office to complain about their highway robbery tactics. Their motto should read "Honey, call anyone...just DON'T call Heritage!". I don't understand how companies that operate in such a manner are allowed to stay in business. It is just sickening.

Description of Work: Normal water heater maintenance. One of the valves was corroded and needed to be replaced. The tech showed me the valve so I could see first hand what was going on. The technician was very professional and pleasant to deal with.

Description of Work: They repaired our furnace's circuit board among other things -- we've used them for 20 years. Overall it turned out very well.
