River City Heating & Cooling

We needed to replace our heating unit due to a cracked heat exchanges. We had three bids and River City's was the best and most professional as far as what we needed for our home. They did not try to upsell or give us something we did not need for our home. The day of the install, they came promptly and prepared our home by laying down sheets to walk on so they would not track anything onto our floors. It was quick and painless and provided plenty of education on how to maintain and run the new units. I would highly, highly recommend.

They arrived on time, we're very professional and did a great job. They cleaned up after they were done and showed me how to use everything.

When the technician showed up I had already started my furnace so I could not duplicate the issue. He came and looked at my furnace and said sorry everything is working nothing I could do. I explained to him what was going on and what it did but didn't know what to do. So he left within about 15 minutes. I called a Service One technician 2 days later with the same problem and situation. He showed up, furnace was running and I explained to him what was going on and he knew right away what was going on. He said that my pilot light igniter was dirty. He cleaned it off and put it back together and I haven't had any issues with my furnace since then and he was there about 10 minutes longer than the River City Heating and Cooling guy.

River City came over the same day we called we already knew the old furnace was in need of replacement and was inseparable. We were getting chilling so then accelerated our install. They measured and calculated the right size . The installers were polite, and professional. Everything went as promised . Very nice people, all of them.

The work crew was on time and completed my furnace installation in 4 hours, the time stated. They cleaned up after themselves.

Installers arrived on time and completed job before leaving. Jeff checked on job partway thus. Brian/Bow kept us updated as the day went on in process of installation. We were instructed in use before they left.

Jeff Ladwig was involved with the proposal for the installation at the start & stayed with the process involving the installment of the AC/HVAC to the follow up DF making sure everything was running great. Customer service was the best. Give that man a bonus/raise/ & trip to Hawaii.

Basically very well. There was a defective part in the new Trane A Coil that had to be replaced. This delayed the completion of the installation by one additional day. However, River City Heating and Air was considerate and paid for our stay overnight in a nice hotel while this problem was being fixed as it was a very hot and humid day / night in Omaha. They also gave us and additional year of free spring and fall maintenance.

Things went great. They showed up on time, installed the new unit with no issues, left no mess. Called to check and make sure things were running ok. Did a final check. The person we worked with, Jeff, was great, very personable and kind.

The entire process was completed in one, care was taken not to dirty the carpeting. The crew was friendly and professional.

It went very well – installer were very knowledgeable & very proud – working (which was difficult given the high humidity & temperature in the high 90's). The sales representative was excellent: very professional, very much interested in handling any questions or attending to any detail as needed, I am confident I made the right choice as far as product (AC units) & as far as the company to installer.

Air conditioning went out on sat. 7/23 the Technician came out that day to fix it. Cut the compressor went out. So we needed a new unit. Which they installed on Tues. Morning 7/20/16, frustrating that the unit was only 11 years old, 1 year after warranty was over. But not their fault. It was still good service.

Having been recommended by a friend, my wife was at her wits end by the time she called Jeff Ladwig from River City Heating and Cooling. We had been without air condition for almost a week and Jeff could be out the next day to give an estimate. He was honest in his opinion to not repair the air condition but replace it. A previous estimate from a competitor on repair or replacement could not promise the work could be completed within a few days or a week. If we choose to replace the air condition Jeff said he could have it installed the next day which was great news given the fact most competitors were extremely back logged. The next morning Jeff, Bob and Jose arrived promptly at 8:30. Jeff stayed for about an hour to ensure his workers had everything they needed to complete the task at hand. Bob and Jose worked all day and the job was completed by 3:30 pm. with the up most professionalism, work area was clean and neat after they were done. The temperature in our house had reached 98 degrees by the time the air conditioner was up and running the temperature was decreasing when Jeff phoned my wife later that evening to see how things were going. Jeff had fulfilled all of his promises and my wife was very pleased and would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of heating or cooling repairs.

I have used River City before and they were prompt and professional from start to finish. Jeff L. is great to work with.

Service Person had checked A/C unit which was not working, manager Jeff Ladwig came out and examined unit and went over various options. We needed unit by weekend. Installation crew arrived on time and completed job. Cleaned up drear and rook old unit.

It was a pleasure dealing with River City. Earlier this year Jeff L. spent an hour checking our current system and evaluating the options for a new system with me. A couple months later when our AC died on us during one of the hottest days, we were set to install a new TRANE system. The installation went smoothly and was done in less than a day. Jeff came out the following week, inspected everything and made sure we were happy. We are.

Jeff the salesman consulted on my needs, was there to start the job and was back to make sure it was done correctly and dialed every thing in. Jeff did a great job. The installer Brian and Kelly did a great jab on the install.

Manager Jeff Ladwig was so helpful. He explained everything (including how to finance) and then returned after the work crew left (with flowers). He did a complete walk thru inspection, let me know about m. u . d. s inspection (gas company), and provided all the paper work I would need, Mr. Ladwig made this whole project worry-free for me.

They came at 8:30 am. Removed all of the old unit and installed new one complete. Were done around 2:30 pm very polite and professional.

My air conditioner went out, and due to its age it was time to replace the unit. I had several companies out to give estimates. After several presentations that were followed with pressure to purchase, I gave River City Heating and Cooling a call. My call was returned promptly, and I set up an appointment with Jeff. He came to my home and assessed my needs. He gave me a few options and allowed me time to make the right decision for me without pressure. I purchased a Trane system with a wireless thermostat. The technicians that came out were Brian and Barry. They arrived on time and completed the work in one day and they were able to help me set the thermostat up on my network. After completion, Jeff came back out to do a final inspection. The air-conditioner is working great. I have not used the furnace yet. On a sidenote, when Jeff was assessing what would work best for my home, I mentioned the recent hail damage to my home. He took a look at the outside unit, and was able to determine that it could not be repaired to a satisfactory level. My insurance covered the outside unit saving me a large sum of money. I would give River City Heating and Cooling my highest recommendation.

Team arrived at 8 am day of installation & went immediately to work removing old system. They complete install of entire new system by 4 pm the same day. I had expected it to take longer. But team knew what they were doing.

They had a good price-we received several estimates good warranty and guaranties. Good products that were installed properly. All employees we encountered were helpful, polite, clean, and efficient.
