The entire staff was absolutely fantastic. They were fast, courteous, and very knowlegeable of the tasks at hand. River City has some of the best staff I have ever worked with. We had a challenge getting the humidifier installed due to lack of room in the utility closet, but the crew did an outstanding job putting the puzzle together. We are very satisfied with the entire HVAC system.

I had 4 estimates on job/equipment needed. Jeff from River City was most thorough in inspection, overview, assessment, & explanation. Overall cost was about the same with all estimates. I choose River City. Excellent installation & follow-up. Very satisfied.

From the beginning when Tom came out to go over options, to the tending, they were very professional and efficient. I was pleased with the product and the team that came out that day did an outstanding job with installation and cleanup.

The technician was detailed and informative. He was on time (early actually). He was very pleasant, neatly dressed, did not smoke. He was experienced. We signed up for the annual maintenance plan with them. I found the price $10 cheaper this month so that was the only reason I rated the price a B. River City does not appear to be the cheapest but they don't appear to be the most expensive either.

I was able to get appts quickly. When they arrived the morning of the job they were 5 minutes early. They were personable and worked efficiently and finished in the time frame promised. They cleaned up after themselves.

He arrived at the appointed time. He was prompt, courteous, and explained everything as he checked and gave us the answers.

I bought the Angie's list deal to clean and check ac unit. They were on time and cleaned and checked everthing. Did a great job! I would use them again.

On the day of installation Jeff came to the house and discussed with the installers everything we had discussed and the work began. By 4:30 in the afternoon all work was completed and cleaned up. The difference in the air quality and temperature by 9pm that night was amazing. Needless to say we are VERY happy with our new system. Jeff checked back in with us a week later and came to the house to do a final inspection and answer any questions we had. It was a pleasure working with Jeff and highly recommend working with him when it comes to A/C and furnace needs.

Upon on a routine maintenance call, it was discovered that the cracked heat exchanger in my 17 year old Gibson furnace was emitting dangerous levels of carbon monoxide. The furnace was immediately shut down and I started gathering bids for a replacement furnace. Kelly Johnson at River City came out within 30 minutes of me calling for an estimate. I had 3 price variations from Kelly within 2 hours of him visiting my home. After much research, I decided the next day to have River City install an 80% efficient, 2 stage, Trane furnace in addition to a new A/C unit and condensor. Their price was $2700 cheaper than the first quote I received. Once I decided to go with River City at 1PM, Kelly had a crew at my house by 2PM to install a a temporary furnace until he could get a crew out the next week to permanently install the new furnace and A/C unit. The price quote included a 5% Angie's list discount and a free humidifier. The installation was conducted by an extremely professional, efficient, knowledgable, and friendly crew. They arrived on time and finished in less than 8 hours. They thoroughly explained the work conducted and how each component of the new system worked. They also did some small ducting repair work at no extra cost. The appearance of the furnace and condensor inside the basement and the A/C unit outside look fantastic. They cleaned up the area and placed my storage shelving back in place. I'm absolutely impressed with Kelly and his team. I would highly recommend this company due the pricing, quality of work, and technician professionalism.

Tech said old furnace (31 yrs) was done. I met with Jeff Ladwig to discuss my options. Decided what I wanted and it was temped in quickly. Jeff's team later installed complete system. Very professional.

Their front man was very professional in every sense of the word, very knowledgeable, polite, thorough, etc. But their price was completely off the charts and out of the ball park. Needless to say we opted for another bid and was quite happy with our final selection.

Absolutely without any problems....We are extremely satisfied with Jeff and the installers who worked here....The price was fair, the installer explained everything in detail...Jeff was here constantly to oversee the job....We are quite picky and couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Called River City at 08:00 pm on Mon 10th Feb 2014. Our furnace (Trane XR80) broke down late Sat evening. Dee from reception was friendly, polite and immediately arranged for a technician (John) to make the service call. I was impressed with the responsiveness to the call. John was here by 9:00 am and commenced work. He was professional and took the time to answer all my questions and queries. John replaced the motor and had a quick look at the humidifier. He made a few quick adjustments and got it working efficiently. I would like to thank Dee and John for their efficiency, professionalism and quick response. I will not hesitate to use River City Heating and Cooling for any more work on our Heating/Cooling System. A big Thank You.

Was very good to work with. Answered our questions and gave good explanations. They were very skilled with their tools of trade. The rest of the crew were all friendly and fun to hang around with.

This company serviced my furnace in the fall. A few weeks ago we notified a whining noise that got worse. We called them Friday afternoon and they came out first thing on Monday morning. Due to the weather the serviceman was late but called and let us know he would be late and why. Our serviceman was so nice and professional, he explained everything. He was very prompt. It is a such a relief knowing it was done and done right. Our serviceman had decades of experience and it showed. I can't say enough about how prompt, polite, tidy and friendly this provider is when coming to my home.

Two teams arrived (one for outside and other for inside), coordinated their activities, tested end products for satisfactory completion, removed debris and left areas, clean - all workers very congenial. Follow-up was excellent.

Nobody enjoys having to have something like this replaced, but when it needs to be done, it needs to done. I first meet with residential manager Jeff Ladwig who came out to my house and explained their product, he was very informative. After receiving and reviewing the estimate I wanted to change somethings to bring the cost down. Jeff was very helpful in making the cost within my budget. I felt it was a very fair price for the work that needed to done. The next week his installation team came and installed the system. I believe their names were Bob and Kevin. They were very professional and caring. If I had a question they did not hesitate to answer it. After they were finished I inspected the work they had done and was very impressed, so impressed I called their office to let them know how pleased I was with them and the job they had done. As I stated before nobody enjoys having to have this done, but Jeff and his team made it as painless as possible

Tech showed me that furnace was leaking carbon monoxide. Used camera to show the cracks in heat exchange. Sent tech to provide price of new unit. Unit installed on time and at agreed to price.

Went very well from the start to the end. Had the residentail manager come out and give an estimate. He was professional, informed, and responsive to all questions. The technicians came out for installation. They were also professional, puntucal, worked diligently, and completed the work to my satisfaction.

River City did a great job for us. They were very professional and prompt. They presented us with a variety of service options and explained each in detail. The tech took some extra time to explain routine care of an HVAC system and made some recommendations about improving the function of our system. We will call them again.

PROFESSIONAL! The most knowledgeable and professional estimator of all the 4 estimates I requested from different companies. On time, straight to business, shared overall issues in an understandable manner. Ultimately was not the chosen contractor because bid was beat by another company but they were my second pick.

Alex, the technician was professional and punctual. I had advised Alex that this was the 3rd time in 4 years that the capacitor had to be replaced. He patiently listened to my query.
