Description of Work: They replaced many windows in my house.

Description of Work: Windows were contracted to be installed, when the measurement man came to measure, one picture window had not been included in his instructions to measure, when questioned, i was told I had signed the contract that stated the windows to be replaced. I was given seven contracts to sign as I was also being instructed to secure a loan via phone with their financial provider. It was a mass of voices, papers, pens and questions. When I relayed this to the manager, his response was, we can't give you a free window. I was not asking for a free window, only an upfront sales person. Two days later, I received the first of several e-mails asking if it was OK for them to install the sliding glass doors with 2x4s at the ends. I responded with a quick no, I am to have custom doors and you have been out to measure these doors and openings and I expect the doors to fit, not to need extra lumbar added at each end. I then received no communication until last week, when the email I received stated that my lack of communication with the company has caused them to cancel my order and they would not be doing business with me.

Description of Work: Good replacement window but pricey. Casements especially. It comes down to installation as a tiebreaker. Andersen sent a Master Carpenter team that did a fast and excellent job

Description of Work: Installed high quality windows in 100 year old house. It has made a world of difference in heating and air conditioning bills. The Andersen windows make cleaning the outside a breeze compared to the circus contortions it took to clean the old original windows. These windows are expensive but they are soooo nice. Installation was super. It took only two days and the guys were quite tidy.

Description of Work: The company made it clear they didn't want to do the work. I argued with the supervisor just to get an appointment for a consultation. The single window was going to run about $1700.

Description of Work: The installation went well. It all comes down to the sub-contractor used in your area. We lucked out and got the owner and his son. Both were Master Carpenters. The only thing I wish we did differently was to watch for how the windows and/or doors get insulated. They tend to use what is there which in my case was very little construction grade left overs.

Description of Work: We were not pleased with the overall customer service, especially communication and coordination of window installation. Not what they espouse to be in the way of TV ads. We would not use again.

Description of Work: I have a hard time answering questions about this company. I asked (online) for a quote on my house windows/doors and they never even bothered to respond. Never heard a word about the requested quote.

Description of Work: Please note window replacement was done in 2010. Your drop for year stopped at 2011. Work done: Two hinged windows with operator arm in master bedroom; two double hung windows with tilt for cleaning in den; and two more double hung windows with tilt in second bedroom. This price did include government rebate of $1,500 that was available at the time. I was extremely pleased with workmanship and plan to have Renewal by Anderson do other replacement windows at a later time.

Description of Work: They did a very good job from start to finish were here when they said they would be. Cleaned up after themselves. Manager came by while they were working to be sure everything was going OK. Explained how to move the windows to clean them. A screen was damaged got us a new one.
