Omaha Appliance was out, I believe, the next day.  They found the power control module was no longer functioning and replaced it with a new Whirlpool factory part.  San did the job.  The washing machine has worked fine since that time.  Looks to have been a fine job.

Contacted ASAP not OAR(apparently they're merging and that's their new name) about my dryer not heating and said would call at noon,which the tech did to say he was on his way.Two young men Arrived about 12:15pm and wiped feet, but wish they had used shoe covers b/c there was snow outside,looked at dryer and said the htng element was burnt out & had part in truck & est. cost @ about $179...so gave go ahead to fix. Then he said that the part he thought would work, wasn't the right part & he'd have to go get it & it would cost a little bit more like 200 and something, but he had one more call to make and would call me after that to put it in. He did call promptly, as he said, about 1p to say he was on his way, but that he was out of invoices and he'd have to stop by the office to get more, but wouldn't be able to get back to me til 4or5p. or he could go ahead and finish up now and mail the invoice? To which I said, do the work and mail the invoice. They also vacuumed out the interior and shortened the duct running from the dryer to the outside which was nice. The techs were courteous and performed the job in a,mostly,timely manner, and as I hadn't had other estimates to compare with, I think the cost was appropriate.

Great experience! I called around 9 am and a tech was here by 10 am. He fixed the problem, showed me how to clean the coils to prevent future problems and finished up by 11 am. Tech was very helpful, neat and professional.

I called yesterday, and was offered same day service. Today was better for me, and we set up the appointment for 12:30-3:30. I was out doing errands and noticed a truck from an appliance repair company down the street as I returned home. Shortly later, at about 12:30, the repairman arrived at my house, and I realized it was the same truck. The timing worked out perfectly! He diagnosed the problem, gave me an estimate, and had the work done within 20-30 minutes. The old part was a friction-based pulley, and he replaced it with a roller-type, which should last longer. No more squeaky dryer--hurray! The only thing that seemed strange is that I called Omaha Appliance Repair, the receipt (and magnets the tech left) says Quikool and has a different phone #, and the truck had yet another name (something like "Appliance Doctor" or "Appliance Medic," I think). I guess the business goes by different names.

Around here, they seem to be a very well known company and have been in business for quite some time. They are very prompt and get things done in a timely manner. The guy was friendly and must have done a good job because I have not had any problems since then.

I called Omaha Appliance Repair and they called back with in a day to set a time and day to come to my house. He showed up right on time, he was a little early in fact. I felt comfortable and safe while he was in our home and part of the reason for that is that I have used them in the past and they sent the same tech out both times.

I really like using Omaha Appliance when I have a problem because it is a family owned company and they work hard to make you happy. There are a few times they actually change the appointment time just to make it more convenient for me.
