Very good experience with installation of a new A/C and furnace. Everyone I dealt with (Beth, Art, Paul, Ricky) was very professional.

The company lied to me when they sold me the unit 3 years ago now they tell me I have to find another company to fullfill my service agreement.

He was knowledgeable and thorough with the assessment and servicing.

Appointment was scheduled promptly, was given notice prior to arrival, technician was professional and courteous. Took advantage of Angie's List special of $39 for each of 2 systems.

Whether I actually needed them or not, I'm not quite certain. My decision to accept their assessment was based on that the property hadn't been occupied in 2 and 1/2 years. I'm not necessarily happy or unhappy but I feel that maybe I was taken advantage of. I had just purchased the property and was not that familiar with it. When they came to do the work, they didn't do it properly because it blew out another breaker. We had to call them back. They had to send another technician out and it took 4 hours to get the system up and running. I would guarantee I would never use them again.

Kevin came by to take the measurements. He promised to send a quote the next day. Did not receive any quote for 3 days. I sent him an e-mail. He apologized, gave some lame excuse and said he will send it the same day. Another week passed. No quote. I sent him another e-mail. He claimed he had already sent the quote. If I have not received it, he will send it again the same day. I also checked my junk mail folder. No. There was no quote. It was getting closer to my 30 day refund guarantee from Angie's list. So I called Angie's list customer service. Angie's list apologized for the the trouble. Offered to hook me up with some other merchant. When I asked how long it might take. They did not have a specific answer. I asked what happens if the process takes me beyond 30 days. Will my refund guarantee expire. They said YES - it would expire and will not be honored after 30 days. The choice was obvious for me. I asked for the immediate refund. Currently still waiting for the refund to be processed.

Technician performed very good service. He diagnosed that the capacitor on my blower needed to be replaced. Other than the hassle of having to call the company office to get them to honor their advertised service cost the service went well. I do strongly believe that they misrepresented their advertised service cost.

Nelson arrived in the time slot given and actually a little earlier but that was fine. He checked out all the elements that were listed on the offer and found no problems.

It was fine. They did what they said they were going to do. They could be a bit more informative while doing the service.

Great! Comfort First contacted me promptly via email and phone to set an appointment. They also followed up with me when we had to reschedule due to rain. When the service was performed, the workers arrived on time, were very professional, and performed the work quickly and efficiently. When they had completed the work, they explained what they had done. which was helpful.

The service person was very professional, and was helpful enough to also get an estimate for us to remove an existing unit. Since it was so close to being time for a fall/ winter tune up he and his associate did that one free of charge. If he made a mistake, I have no problem to pay the extra! It was a hassle-free and very uncomplicated service visit. And I will be calling them soon to get that other unit removed.

Originally did not want to perform the work my service agreement with Angie's List said they would perform. I had to call the company to complain and threaten them with a "poor" review if they did not perform the services outlined on my Angie's List receipt.

Chose the Goodman heat pump. No issues after 2 years. Will hire again when my other heat pump fails.

Comfort responded quickly to my request and scheduled an appointment right away. I took advantage of an Angie's List deal. The technician was punctual, seemed very thorough and added coolant to the system. No attempt to upsell. I would use them again.

Diagnosed a leak which needed repair and 4 units of freon to recharge. The deal included up to one pound of R-410A refrigerant but that was not the type my system required. Repair and adding refrigerant were "pre-set" prices printed in a booklet, which were substantially more than I expected. I decided to delay the repair and seek another quote.

The gentlemen who did the work were both timely and courteous. They finished by explaining to me an issue I had with the upstairs unit and answered all of my naive questions. The company sent out a rep to give me a quote on a new unit and he was also on time and very obliging in answering my many stupid questions! I would definitely recommend Comfort First and would use them again.

Excellent work. Never had someone so completely take apart the a/c unit and clean it as did Comfort First. checked all part and told me to watch the capacitor but still within tolerance. Will definitely use them again for both cooling and heating!!

My AC unit stopped working in 90-100 degree days. We had another company referred to us come out. They came out 3 times within 7 days but it still wasn't working. We called Comfort First. They came out the next day, pdiagnosed the problem, had the parts in and the AC unit fixed the same day! They also went above and beyond to fix issues that the previous company had created unbeknownst to us (that could have caused an electrical fire) I cannot say enough about Comfort First!! Thank you!

Great job. Our HVAC unit wasn't blowing cold air. Carl did a diagnosis and determined that the freon was low. After adding freon, we now have cold air. He was friendly, professional and completely honest during the entire transaction, explaining that there was no warranty on adding freon and we may be okay for a few weeks, months, or years, but I was okay with that. Also gave me a few additional options to consider in the future. I've used other providers, some of them listed here on Angie's List who were basically running a low level scam to get us purchase a new system. One guy from another provider just showed up with a screwdriver and without doing anything much said we needed a new system. We plan on doing that one day, but our system isn't that old and isn't needed now. I had a completely positive experience with Comfort Air. Highly recommend. Don't get scared away by the handful of negative reviews. If you get Carl as your tech you're in good hands. i should also mention that we were able to get same day service. These are the guys you want to call for heating/cooling issues.
