Raleigh Tree Service

Called for an estimate to have a tree on my front lawn pruned/ trimmed and was quoted a price of $300 which is way too high. Discouraging part of the conversation was I did not get the impression the gentleman was interested in the job; may have been too small for his time/effort. If it is advertised with Angie's List that the business will come out and do a free estimate, then that is what should happen. Don't give a price off the top of your head if you (the business rep/owner) truly want to do business.H

My tree was gone within a week's time from start to finish.

We have a lot of trees and shrubs on our lot. A lovely design that has been in serious need of trimming and cutting back for quite a while! I bought the Angie's list big deal $250 for $500 of service. We used that and then some. It took a while to get on their schedule, but it was well worth the wait! Christian and 3 of his crew came and spent a very busy afternoon. They worked continuously and got through every single item on the quote and then some. I can't say enough good things about this company, from start to finish, very professional, doing every single thing right, just the way I would want them to if I was standing right there. They cleaned up spic and span, even cleaning up some leaves and twigs that were there when they came. Christian knows his business, he shaped an apple and redbud tree so they look just as good and sweet as they did when they were planted. He had to cut back a big pear tree that was hitting against the house and he was able to do it without it looking chopped up and mishapen. I was so impressed with their professionalism and pleasant manner, it was great having them around.

I had called them to get a quote for taking down a large Bradford Pear. The information and price for removing the tree was excellent. I was sorry not to be able to use their services. However, I had jumped the gun and called a low quoter just before my meeting with CCF. Since I expected a large quote from them, and not the great price they gave me, I felt obligated to use the other low quoter. I had spoken to a few other tree services previously and CCF was the latest in scheduling. I apologize for not writing this up sooner, but completely forgot about reviewing a quote. The quote I received was very professional and written up beautifully. I would not hesitate to recommend this company and use them in the future, although they might not want me as a customer.

Christian did a great job! He came when he said he would and ground up all of the stumps that were located in our yard. We were very pleased with him and would definitely hire him again.

I contacted Christian and he came out and gave me an estimate. He is very knowledgeable about trees. He gave me an estimate for three trees and four stumps and said he'd grind two other rotting stumps in my yard for free. They showed up on time and did a terrific job. One of the trees was old and huge and hanging over the street and power lines. They handled that fine. He finished the trees and several days later they ground the stumps for me. I'm very satisfied and will contact them again after I'm ready to have more trees down.

A bad summer thunderstorm uprooted a pecan tree and ripped the limbs off an old bradford pear tree. Luckily, CCF was participating in a coupon special with Angie's List. I called Christian. He was very professional and promptly came to my house. He talked to me about my options and gave me an estimate. It was a great relief to come home and have the trees ground up and my driveway clear!

I responded to an Angie's list special offering $250 for $500 in tree service. Everything from contacting CCF for an estimate all the way through actual service went very smoothly. The person doing the estimate was very thorough and provided a written estimate on-the-spot that I accepted. He also provided a scheduled service date which they met. I ended up requiring more than the Angie's list CCF special of $500 of work for $250, so CCF ended up just taking off $250 of my total estimate and applying a 10% discount on top of that. Where it counts was the service which was excellent. We had several trees and shrubs removed, along with stump grinding. CCF was extremely attentive to detail - there almost no evidence that the trees or shrubs had ever been there by the time CCF finished their cleanup. All the surrounding landscaping and structures were well respected in their work. They didn't bill me for the work until I accepted it and approved it. CCF was great to work with and excellent in their service.

The entire experience was wonderful

They were good. They came at the time that was convenient for me.They showed up on time and finished the job quickly. They had it removed when I needed them to. I didn't have any problems with them. There was a little bit of miscommunication about work beyond removing the trees and whether or not it was going to be charged. But, they resolved it and they actually took a loss on it. They were very understanding.

It didn't get past the bidding stage. he was very thorough and detailed in his bid though - it was good to see price breakdown. Very professional.

Christian came out ahead to look at the project and estimate the job. He then scheduled a date to do the work. Work was performed on time and done well. I would definitely use CCF again.

I contacted CCF to remove a very large pine tree that was close to my house. Christian came out, and provided a written estimate. He was very pleasant to deal with. The day of the 'cutting', I will admit to being a little nervous as to how they would get it down without hitting my house, but they are WONDERFUL!!! It was entertaining to watch him climb the tree, and cut down it down branch, by branch, then the tree trunk. It helped to keep the cost down by having them shred it on the property and keep the logs - that way I didn't have to pay extra for hauling and dumping fees. The cleanup was amazing. You can't even tell there was a tree there! I would definitely use them again and recommend them highly.

Excellent! It was wonderful to come home and find I had been "tended to"); I felt very well taken care of. All unwanted cuttings were neatly removed and hauled away. My property was left in a more neat condition than it was before work performed! Requested work was completed on the agreed-to date.

Chris came out and gave us an estimate, said he was really busy and he could be out to do the work in about two months. A couple of weeks later he called to say that he had a day free and would it be alright to come out and do the work - of course we said "Yes!". On the scheduled day Chris and his assistant showed up on time and in a couple of hours had everything done to our complete satisfaction. Furthermore, he ended up getting a much larger job with the next door neighbor!

I had the branches removed as well as another tree plus an old stump. The work was done on time, cleanly and well done. He removed the stumps while his men took care of the trees. Excellent work. I would recommend him enthusiastically.

Great from start to finish.

Christian is wonderful. He has performed two services for me over the past few months. He removed several giant pines that had died from pine beetles, and then I had him back to treat others to prevent future infestations. He is knowledgeable, professional, responsive, and pleasant. I would definitely use him again if I need tree service.

We used an Angie’s List coupon. This is the second time we’ve used them in a very short period of time. The man who runs the group is very professional, knowledgeable, honest, and straightforward. I couldn’t give them any higher praise. I would give them an A+.

I was very pleased with Christian's professionalism and he did a great job. He also did a nice job cleaning up all the stump shavings and left the yard in good condition.Seemed like a quality company that I'll definitely use again next time I need trees removed or trimmed.

CCF performed all services quoted and did an excellent job. The only delay was in forgetting the tool to grind the stumps from the Wisteria, and to pull out the posts that were part of the surrounding lattice work. Someone else returned three weeks later to finish the job.

Christian and his team arrived on the 7th and began to work. They worked for 2 days clearing branches in my yard. They were careful in removing everything and cleaned up completely when they left. You wouldn't have known that they had been there because every twig and leaf had been removed not only from my property but from the culdesac as well. In the process the guys had to cut down the dead branch that was holding my bird feeder, but are coming back to rehang it for me. Christian and his team are committed to delivering the best service and a fair and reasonable price. Satisfying his customers are clearly top of mind. I would highly recommend them for all tree care and removal.

Christian Etheridge, the Owner of CCF Tree Service, managed the work from start to finish. The price he quoted was very reasonable and the service he provided exceeded my expectations. What I needed was someone to cut down and trim some trees in an efficient and safe manner. Those needs were met, plus I received some expert consultation regarding a black spot problem on one tree and a lot of other interesting and helpful information about other trees on the property. Christian was very professional and the helper he brought with him was an excellent worker. The entire project was done in 4-5 hours. Christian made sure the property was completely cleaned up before leaving. You could hardly tell he was there, except for a few unwanted trees! I highly recommend CCF.
