The cost of service includes a big deal purchase ($200 for $400 worth of work). I felt the estimate was marked up because of the Big Deal, however, in fairness, I did not obtain any other quotes to compare it to. I rated the service based on a few odd/unwelcome things that happened. Most significantly, trash was left behind in our neighbors yard by the service workers, and a strange incident with the payment check. After CCF lost the payment check within a day of receiving it at project completion, the owner called to let me know and obtain a new check. I offered to mail a new check that day, however, he was instead insistent on stopping by my house within the hour to obtain a new one. I let him know that was not a convenient solution for me, but this was really the only option he wanted to pursue. We agreed he could come by the next day, but I found the whole situation a bit odd and unprofessional.

Came on time and were gone in no time. Very clean and professional job. There now in my address book.

The service is great! Christian provided the best tree service not just in removing trees but saving trees and making them healthy. We are planning for Christian to return in the fall to begin a clean up project in the back yard. Will hire them again? Most definitely! Already have!

It went really well, Will came out right away, gave me an estimate seemed very knowledgeable. I felt that they could do anything for us that we asked. He admitted that it might be a while until they can come out to do the work. I feel that some of the work was up to par and that some of the work could have been cleaned up better.

Contact made. Differences in our schedule worked out. Price agreed on after vendor examined the task.

I am listing my home for sale and couldn't have the front yard lawn damaged by the tree removal and "cats" used to take pieces away. I chose this company because they had a crane and guaranteed that the limbs and trunk would not be dropped on the front lawn. His estimate was in the mid range of 6 estimates. They lifted everything out of the front yard and onto the street. They ground the stump and did a great job leveling it out and cleaning up! He was very willing to provide proof of liability insurance and Workmans comp. Owner was on job site at all times. I highly recommend Raleigh Tree.

WIll was very professional. He got in contact with me soon after I bought an Angie's List deal to set up an appointment. He was able to set up a consultation within a week, and got us a quote soon after. When he came out to do the work, he gave me a call the day before to see if it would work. They did a wonderful job pruning the trees and removing the saplings. They cleaned up all debris from the trees, and he called to follow up with me since I wasn't there when they did the work. Overall, I am very satisfied with the service performed, as well as the price for completing service, and I will give them a call next time I need anything done with my trees.

It is somewhat difficult to put into words how completely satisfied we are with all aspects of our dealing with CCF Tree Service.!! We requested an arborist 's advice on how to deal with several extremely large trees , some of which were diseased and some completely blacking sunlight to the gegree that growing a lawn was impossible. Chris Etheridge , the owner of CCF Tree Service, came by personally and gave us his opinion on every tree and shrub. He answered every question and concern. The estimate to do the work was sent via Email at the end of the day with every work item estimated separately. We had several other estimates but chose CCF without hesitation. The work required removal of two very large Maple trees and a large Black Gum tree, aesthetic pruning of multiple other large trees.and shrubs. Two of the trees were on the property lines and close to houses, requiring educating and negotiating with the adjacent property owners. Chris was a diplomat as well as an arborist and both neighbors agreed immediately and were totally impressed with his work afterward. The crews did their work without stopping, everyone doing their portion of the work. Watching Chris and John up 40-50 feet limbing and lowering the branches without damaging a single plant on the ground was awesome. CCF completed the entire job in 1 1/2 days and cleaned up completely. My advice is to call Chris at CCF Tree Service for any expert tree servicer.

They were fantastic. I got a prompt response and he came out here and listened to what I had to say. He gave me a date that it would be done, but he did it before that and in a few steps. He was wonderful and I would use him again. I referred someone else to him and that person called me after he had seen them and told me what a wonderful job they did, so I was very excited.

Christian came out all the way to our house in a complete downpour the remnants of a tropical storm and still took the time to walk around the yard with me and give us an estimate. It was difficult to get a hold of them with the number of people purchasing the big deal. I dont think I called once and had someone answer but they were very good at calling back. I would definitely recommend them

Terrific...very professional / efficient use of technology to maintain contact, schedule our date, complete our contract, and provide a receipt of payment. Impressive use of crain to extract trees without damaging our lawn. Will's team took care in cleaning up so that no one could tell the significant amount of work that had been completed. All work done before original commitment.

In the Fall of 2012, CCF removed a Maple, chipped and chipped the roots.Took out and chipped 3 grown Crepe Myrtles pulled up some bushes, roots and all. Cleaned everything up including a pile of grass and limbs that had fallen during storms. This was about $1200.00 after the Angie's List discount. In July 2013, we had 1 trunk of a multiple trunk wax myrtle cut down because it was too close to a fence being built. Our Willow Oak was trimmed back to remove the branches over the newly built deck and the edge of the roof. He flattened a mound over the area where the Maple was taken out and replaced small rocks to a pile after another person spread them out under where the fence was going instead of daking them out from under the deck. CCF also flattened the area. He cleaned the new pile of grass and limbs and chipped everything. Price $325.00.

We purchased a big deal for the service, and it turned out fine. They took 1 tree down, and trimmed several trees. They were pretty much average from what I have dealt with. They showed up earlier from what they told me, and they provided visual pictures to show what they were going to do and what they were going to work on.

When someone finally responded to the voicemail message I'd left, we'd already contracted with another provider.

We could not be happier with the work Christian and his crew did for us. They showed up early and worked pretty much until the sun went down. We first got a quote from Christian because a dead tree branch had fallen off and hit our house so we wanted to see how much it would be to trim all the trees away from the house and take care of some dead stems on a few trees. He told us almost immediately that the big tree was not looking very healthy and could potentially fall on our house should the right conditions arise. He did a good job educating us as to why it was looking bad and how he could tell so we knew he wasn't just trying to tell us to cut a tree down unnecessarily. He looked at all the trees on our property, and it is a very shaded lot, to make sure that none of the other trees were in danger of dying or falling. He sent us a quote the same weekend and we were ok with the price with the 15% Angie's List discount. And now that the work is done, that price is more than reasonable in my opinion. We had no idea how much work actually was going into our yard. They were extremely professional about it all and each crew member we spoke with knew a lot about trees, and not just about cutting them down. Part of the team spent the day going around the house trimming, and properly pruning. (They told us whoever pruned the trees before we bought the house did not do it properly so that could be why we had so many dead, dying, and infected parts) The other part of the crew spent the day taking down our big tree in front. This tree had been growing into two stems so it was basically like cutting down two large trees. But they did a great job, I don't think any part of the tree even came close to hitting the house. After all of their hard work just getting the trees down they spent the rest of the daylight hours cleaning everything up. And except for the big pile of fire wood we now have, and the giant stump (which we asked them to leave) you can hardly tell we even had anything done. They did a fabulous job cleaning up the yard, the sidewalk, and the street. We are going to ask them to come back and take down stem on a tree that needs to come down in the winter. And we are definitely going to call them again in the future.

Christian and his crew arrived promptly and worked efficiently to perform the work. The work was done exactly according to the specifications that were agreed upon during the initial meeting. CCF did an amazing job of cleanup; the yard was left in a cleaner state than when the crew arrived. The price was fair for the work performed.

Will is an excellent communicator. He listened to my priorities and offered advice. He never tried to "supersize" me with additional services. He is respectful and professional. Any lawn ornaments that needed to be secured he returned to their location before leaving.

Th is is one very professional crew. They came they sawed and they conquered my bushes and trees. We could not be more pleased. Chris Etheridge did a full days work for us. The results were spectacular. If any one wants to have someone who works hard and does a fantastic job call CCF Tree Service. These people care about the quality of their work. Worth every penny.

It was a good service. The only issue I had was the ruts in my front yard from a heavy truck being driven through by front yard. He was very apologetic and offered to repair it. I didn't think this was necessary and appreciate the professionalism.

It went great. They came when they said they would, worked hard, did a great job and, in my opinion, charged a fair price. They showed great care in removing the tree that was in a difficult place. Did I mention it also extended over a fence. They didn't break a window, damage the fence or leave any sign that they had been there. I would definitely use them again. One piece of advice in dealing with them. I do not get the impression they are email people. Several emails I sent went unanswered. And we also played a little phone tag. But I think this just reflects that they are busy. Also, I don't want to overstate the issue, we did connect and they came out promptly. I just want folks to not be taken by surprise if it takes more than one call to reach them.

He was very professional. They did a great job. They gave an estimate in April and let me know that they wouldn't be able to do the work until July. They kept me very updated.

I was out of town when the service was performed but felt comfortable with the work being done while we were away. When I returned, it was as if the trees had never been there. Clean up was immaculate.

Purchased a Big Deal for CCF Tree Service. We had some shrubs that was over 10 feet tall and a dead tree that needed to be cut down. They came out and trimmed the shrubs and cut the tree down. They had come out and did an inspection of the property and we needed more work done which would have cost more. We had them do what the big deal would cover. They did a real nice job on the shrubs.

Will was professional, arrived on time, and knowledgeable. We wanted 20+ trees removed from our 1 acre lot, which he quoted on the spot. Our lot does not have much landscaping around the trees, so there was little to worry about other than the house itself. The quote was about $5k, which did not seem high at the time. Plus the company was really busy so they were not sure if they could start until about 6-8 weeks out. Several of our neighbors and friends commented that the price seem too much for the job. We had another service quote the job and it was half the cost and they were able to start within a few weeks. Our next door neighbor was able to vouch for the company who had 20+ years experience. They were in-and-out in 2.5 days and we were pleased with the service. For an additional $500 they ground all the stumps and took out 3 additional trees. We had paid $200 to Will for a discounted service that we did not use and forfeited to him for his trouble.
