Speedy service. We we were very pleased with their work.

My family and I were very impressed with their speed and efficiency. We had some dangerous trees overhanging the house. They took out them out safely piece by piece then ground down the stumps to nothing. Even ground down the surface roots of the removed maple too. Very impressed.

They were great - very prompt and took care of this handily. I'd hire them again if needed.

Gonzales was very good and left a clean area where they worked. All for a reasonable price.

I hired Gonzales Tree Service after another service failed to show and complete a job between storms. Yahir and his crew cut the trees to where they were safe before the second storm hit and then came back afterwards to finish the entire job. Very pleased that he provided the service he said he would WHEN he said he would. Hope to ask them back for some more tree trimming projects this spring.

Very happy with the service Gonzales tree service done for me. Yahir and his crew were very professional and job was great. They ground up and hauled everything away. Cleaned up all of the debris. Grinded the stumps all the way down. We had four large fir trees removed and Yahir was priced well below the other estimates. Very friendly staff.

The cost was manageable and the workers arrived on time and made sure the area was cleared and cleaned when they left. I have recommended them already, and will do so again. We had several quotes for the trees we needed to be removed. Gonzales was willing to come in lower than everyone else. They wanted the job, and they seemed both honest and hard working. We hired them. It was a family operation, including wife, grandfather, and child. Yahir was the best at English, and he was my main contact. The job was $3500, of which $1500 was due to get started. We gave them that in cash. The job was to take two days, which we thought was ambitious. Two weeks later, the job was almost done, so we gave them the remaining $2000 in cash. They said theywould be finishing up the next day, and we had to be out of town, so we left another $100 cash in an envelope for them, as a tip. They took that, so they now had been paid in full, plus $100. When we got home, there were still 3 stumps left. One HUGE one in the back yard, one smaller one in the front yard (with the trunk about 3 feet high), and one more in the front yard, covered with a pile of wood chips about 4 feet high. When I asked about those, Yahir said that a neighbor was going to have a tree cut down in about a week, and he had finished up ours then. He also swore that there was no remnant of any stump under the 4 feet of wood chips that were coincidentally piled where the stump would be. That later proved to be untrue. When the pile was moved, the part of the stump that remained required about 45 minutes of grinding to finish it up. Two weeks went by. Nothing. I texted Yahir to see if they were ok, and when they were coming back to finish. He said they were in self-quarantine for a month. I asked if one of them had the virus. He said no, and added that they had all been tested, and were all negative - a lie since nobody at that time could just get tested upon request - but I wished his family well, and said we will keep in touch. Another 3 weeks. I texted Yahir, asked how the family was doing and asked when they could come back to finish up. No reply. A few days late I sent him another text, asking for a receipt to be sent to my email address. No reply. Another two weeks. I called their number and left a voice mail, saying that I would have to hire another company to finish up, and that would be reflected in my online review, and to please call me back. No callback. I sent a text with the same content. No reply. Another week. We hired the *Stump Destroyer* to come out and finish the job - which he did promptly and professionally - at a cost of $300. I sent a final text to Yahir, AKA Gonzales Tree Service, attaching the Invoice for $300 from the *Stump Destroyer*, and asking him to send us a check to reimburse us for that additional cost, at the same time assuring him that, if he replied expressing his intention to do so, and the check indeed came, I would not leave a negative review. Another 2 weeks. Nothing. So here we are. They seemed nice and honest, and hard-working. We live and learn I guess, and the old adage of you get what you pay for once again proves out.

I was very disappointed that the work they said they would do, like... stump removal was not done. A tree stump was left that is almost as tall as I am! At some point in time, I will have to hire someone else to complete this job! Cleaned up some, but left a lot still to be cleaned up. UPDATE 3/12/2020: Did not remove tree stump after they told me it would be included in tree removal. The stump is at least 3 feet sticking up. I will have to hire someone to finish this job. If I had known they were not going to that, I would not have used them. They did not clean up the yard satisfactory when finished. They did not even have a rake! Sticks were left everywhere! Not my kind of so-called professionals.

The Gonzales team worked very hard and carefully to take down six large oak trees in my yard. They did the job well. The team was always polite and professional.
