We were 5 hours out of town when neighbors contacted us about the fallen tree. After speaking with our insurance company, High Country was the next service we contacted. John Wayne was promptly able to gather a crew willing to work on Sunday to begin securing the property to prevent further damage, as we were instructed by our insurance company to do so. They were already hard at work by the time we arrived home. We'll spare all the details, but in short, they did everything they needed to do to get the tree off the house without doing any further damage to the home. When the work was all done, we were amazed to come home to find our yard cleaner than it was before the tree fell (a little banged up from the equipment, but that was to be expected.) All the while John Wayne kept us updated and the lines of communication open if we had questions; he was easily contacted via phone, email, and text message. As if this weren't enough for great customer service, John Wayne went above and beyond when we started running into problems with our insurance company covering his costs. In the end, the insurance company covered all his costs and he was incredibly patient in waiting for that process to play out. All in all, we couldn't be more thankful for working with High Country Tree Service during this incredibly stressful time! We highly recommend their services!

From scheduling the estimate all the way through to billing, everything went smoothly. High Country has recently converted to an electronic 'paperwork' system, so the man who came to walk my property with me for the estimate emailed me a detailed, typed estimate within half and hour of his visit. That estimate also went to the High Country office at the same time, and it became the work order once I accepted the estimate. The work was extensive and we were in the midst of what seemed to be a monsoon season, so it took a couple of visits to get all of the work done: on the first morning with no rain, a crew of four men removed trees and pruned limbs, and chipped and removed all the debris. On the next day with no rain, one man came to grind the stumps in the morning, and that afternoon another man came to install the cabling on the maple with co-dominant stems. Each crew had its task and got its job done in excellent order. High Country billed me at the end, once all the work was done, and the invoice clearly included the extra work I had requested after the estimate (ie, the cosmetic work I asked for after the power company's crew had come through the neighborhood).

The team did a great job, efficiently. They cleaned up better than we expected, left us the mulch. They even did more work than our agreement for nothing extra. Highly recommend.

The experience was great. We had never had the opportunity to see huge logs lifted over the house. The trees were removed with great care by very experienced workers. After completion the yard and street were cleaner than they were when the work started.

They showed up early, secured the site and professionally removed the limb. They cleaned up the area and left the area looking better than before. They are always courteous, professional and John Wayne always comes by to see if I am satisfied. Excellent crews, leadership and performance.

They arrived as scheduled, removed the tree and all debris, including clean up and haul away. Truly professional crew the entire time they were in our yard, safely removing the remainder of the tree all debris, Very respectful of our property. And, when they were finished, almost looked like a tree was never there,. Awesome job, I would highly recommend them. Although their prices were slightly higher than other companies in this field, it was worth the extra for their professionalism, skill, and cleanup ! NO stress! AND, the quoted price was exactly what we paid.
