We used them for a long time and we kind of noticed that the prices were going up last time we used them, but this time we had a hole in the sand filter which is about the third time it had to be replaced. He came out and my husband didn't bother to get a quote, so he replaced that and when he was under the house he noticed the pressure tank, something was wrong with it. So he had one on the truck and he replaced that and then charged us this amount of my money and while the guy was out there my husband looked online to see how much the parts were even, like, what he would get them for and the total was like $500 and the guy wasn't here for a little over an hour. So my husband called the owner and said you know this is a little bit steep but we'll go you know why is it so high and he said well I'm a little busy right now can I call you back, never called back. My husband and I and he would not answer his phone so we left him a message and said that you know I don't mind paying somebody decent money, but $700 per hour labor is a little bit much.

We woke up one morning and couldn't get any water out of the faucets and called Lowell Pump and water.

Joe and another technician did a great job, very professional and explained everything to us before they completed any repairs.

We had a little trouble connecting for an appointment at first, but that was mostly my fault with my reception being poorly where I"m at most of the day. Once we had an appointment, they were on time, they were quick, informative and best of all, reasonably priced.

a Delivery Truck backed over our well causing damage to the well and loss of water in the house.  They repaired a pipe that was underground leading from the well pump to the house.  They also checked all other items to verify they did not take damage.  We had a separate issue with water pressure in the house.  They checked the pressure tank and filter to resolve all the pressure issues in the house.

Our well stopped working and breaker would not reset.   I've used this business before without a problem so called them again.  The owner of this business is very prompt about answering the phone and told me that someone could come the next afternoon.   Because they are in high demand, it was after 6:00 PM before they could get there however.  One gentleman arrived with an assistant and diagnosed the problem as burnt out wires on a junction box.   An estimate of the cost of repair should probably have been asked for at this point, but I failed to do so.  None was given.   The repairman re-wired the box and the pump started working again.  Approximately one hour of work for this job with minimal parts - if any.   The price seemed high for this amount of work but perhaps that's what it costs these days.

Excellent service. Called on a Sunday morning at 9AM and it was fixed by noon same day. They actually had a replacement part for my 28 year old pump on their truck. Price charged was very reasonable. I would use them again.

My husband called Lowell Well & Pump and dicussed our well pump problem continualy cycling. They immediately came to the house and inspected the problem. They had the parts right there on the truck and had us up and running within an hour. They pulled the pump out of the well and replaced the jets and other parts, added a pressure indicator switch because we were only putting out 45 psi now we are at I think 70 psi ( never having had a well system before, I just assumed lower pressure was normal), he changed out the pressure regulator and now we have City of Charlotte like water pressure (which I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!) and he flushed out the well system. The fact that they were so prompt, efficient and the price was less than what I was expecting made me a happy person last night. I love that they are a small business and were very professional. Thank you very much, it's so nice to be able to wash clothes and still have water pressure to take a shower or wash dishes now. We will be using Lowell Well & Pump from now on.

After waiting on another plumber for three days (no show), I called Lowell Pump.  They answered my call on the first attempt (in person), prioritized my problem against other work in progress, and had someone at my house within an hour.  They wasted no time diagnosing the system and fixing the problem.

I called Lowell Pump and Water and arranged an appointment. Barry showed up with a co-worker on time. They accessed the situation with the well pump and explained my options. I enquired about a submersible pump, and he stated he's love to install one for me, but in his professional opinion, it would be overkill since my well was not that deep and I wouldn't see any significant improvement in water pressure. Not to mention the extra expense. I elected to stay with the jet pump and they promptly went to work and had me up and running in about an hour. Both guys were great. Professional and knowledgeable. Will definitely use them again.

I am pretty sure that I used Lowell Pump and Water to repair my well pump but it has been a couple of years. I liked that they were able to fix the problem and they were fast. My interaction with the service provider was pleasant, nothing unfriendly or mean about it. It was a nice business experience. I would use this provider again in the future.

Awesome. I recommened to a neighbor based on my experience a couple of years ago and I really hoped it would be as good for my neighbor. So, the rep showed up on time, diagnosed the problem within 15 minutes and had everything he needed to fix the problem on the spot. My neighbor was so impressed with the knowledge and expertise that the rep displayed. Problem was solved and my neighbor, who has to mange all household responsibillities since his wife passed away, had one less thing to worry about. Great job.

These guys were great! I called about 10am and by 12 someone was at my house checking out the problem. I wasn't able to meet them there (because I didn't realize the response time would be so quick), so he called me and told me what the problem was and how much it would cost. By 3pm I had water pressure and all was well. They have been in business for 52 years and are just knowledgable, decent people. I will definitely use them again. As far as the price goes, having a well is expensive...I expected it to cost a good bit.

House water supply was "surging" when being used. I called Lowell and told them that it was not an emegency, but they came out within hours anyway. The accumulator was visually defective. They said that the switch and gauge were also defective ( I am not 100% sure that was true - maybe). They gave me the their price and I agreed to it, even though the price seemed high. This is the same company that installed the well 26 years ago. They left to get parts and returned within a couple of hours and completed the repair. The result is good. The responsiveness was excellent. It was probably good "preventive maintenance" to replace the switch - not so sure about the gauge. Price seemed high - but I don't have anything to compare it to.
