After 5 years of working with this company, I can say for sure, I would not recommend them to anyone. It is simply amazing how nice and considerate they were when they were selling me the unit for $5,421.00. Over the course of the next 5 years I had to call them to fix my new air conditioning unit. One tme they told me that bugs got into the system and shorted out the contacts. They told me to spray bug spray around the unit. (Sounded fishy) But this last time takes the cake. They told me I had a weak compressor. They put a hard start kit on it and charged me $168.00. This lasted about 3 weeks, before I had to call them again. Next they told me I had to replace the compressor. The technician told me that he had checked on the unit and it was over 5 years old and not covered by the warranty and I would have to send it to my home owners insurance. Well, I have the warranty information and he was wrong. It was covered three ways. First, the unit was under 5 years old based on the installation date, I had sent in the warranty paperwork which extended it to 10 years, and the compressor itself has a lifetime warranty. They tried to tell me the unit was hit by lightning. I told them we had not had lightning anytime near the time they said it was hit. Furthermore, I looked up the possibility that it could have been hit by lightning or a power surge and found out that there is only about a 1% chance based on reported lightning and surge analysis. Also, it is impossible for a technician ( no matter how much experience he has) to be able to look at a unit and come to that conclusion. So, we agreed to replace the compressor and send the old one back to the manufacturer. I asked how much it would cost for the labor, was given one price and charged another. I asked about a credit for the first visit that did not fix the air conditioner and was told that I would be given a credit. However, when I came to their writing the bill, they refused to give me the credit that they had already said they would give me. I look at this as an out-right lie! How can you trust someone who lies to you? Not only this, but they told me that they would be coming at a certain time and did not show up. One day I called and asked if they were coming and was told, "oh, the part did not come in." Great we waited around all day and they did not have the decency to call and tell us they they would not be coming that day.
