MIKE'S FURNITURE REPAIR

Mike was excellent; prompt in his phone calls and arrived at the set time. The work was done while I was home, and he provided updates as he was working. Mike is very knowledgeable about furniture and wood, he even jumped in and provided a solution to another wood finish problem. I will call him again as needed.

Mike was fantastic. First, he was prompt and arrived when he said he would. Second, He could easily have made a major production out of the repair by planing down the doors, by turning the buffet over and applying glue and brackets. But, he was an honest guy -- and very smart. He examined the doors and brackets. He assessed the degree that the buffet was out of plumb. Third, he talked with me the entire time explaining what he was doing and why. Mike is the kind of repair expert that one wants to know. I will definitely tell my friends about how he solved my problem. And, will call him again if I need another furniture repair. Thanks, Mike! Great job and a satisfied customer!

Mike is an outstanding man and a fine craftsman. The chair is stronger than before I broke it and my box looks terrific. Mike arrives on time, is exceptionally friendly, and knows his furniture. He returned the stuff in just a few day, (we told him there was no rush). I'd give him an A+ if I could.

I called Mike and described our situation. He said he had finished a job early and could come over the same day and look at the piece. He saw it, listened to what I was looking for, and came up with a creative and reasonably priced solution. He agreed to come the very next day to fix it and he did. He called before he came, came in at cost, has great manners and is just a good guy. Thank you Mike!

Called Mike the day before, described my problem, he called me the next morning and said he could be there in 30 minutes. Arrived on time, fixed the problem in no time. Very pleased. He was polite, punctual and friendly. Can't say enough good things about the experience. Will definitely call him again.

Mike could have left my home and gone to the next job BUT he really wanted to help me with the repair. He took the chairs to someone else for a second opinion on fixing it. They were fixed and then Mike brought them back to me with a invoice from the other firm. This experience fixing very expensive chairs couldand quot;t have gone better for me.

Mir. Davis was very prompt in returning my call. He scheduled to come right out and was on time. He was very personable and told me of his lengthy experience in the business. He repaired my daughter's chair in her room that her and her brother had jumped on a lot and broken the rocker base on it. As well as the ottoman. It took quite a bit of his time, because he had to come back the next day with a special tool to fix it. He didn't charge me extra for his time. He even talked on the phone to the manufacturer of my son's dresser to make sure that they sent me the correct parts for the drawer that was broken. He even told me he would come back out to fix the dresser at no extra cost. When the parts came in I was too busy to give him a call right away. So, he stopped by on his own when he was in the area and offered to go ahead and fix it. I would definitely recommend him for furniture repairs. He stated that he does refinishing as well

The experience with Mike was awesome!! He was pleasant, both on the phone and in person. He was able to schedule an appointment within a couple days from when we called. He arrived right on time, maybe even a few minutes early. He went right to work and kept us updated every step of the way, notifying us of any potential problems or things we may have to do in the future. He was very detail oriented. I would not hesitate to him again in a second for any type of furniture repair issue.

I made the mistake of taking a family heirloom chair to my Mother's memory care unit. I thought it would provide her with a sense of and quot;homeand quot; and make her comfortable. She never sat in the chair as she is very ill, but someone else did and broke the leg. I was angry and very sad because the chair had been my Dad's, and he passed away when I was 18. In addition, the upholstery had somehow become covered with all sorts of stains. Mike came to the house to look at it. ON TIME! So nice and polite and funny! He said it could be fixed and took it to his shop. He brought it back and it was practicially like new! The leg was fixed; he shined up the other 3 legs and astonishingly, cleaned up the upholstery as best he could. I was shocked at how beautiful it looked, as was my wife. I wish I had photos of the and quot;afterand quot; but I already put it back in my Mom's storage unit. You should call Mike for ANY furniture repair you need. Like I said, he was cordial and likable, on time, always called before he came out...and is just a wonderful guy. We have some other pieces that we will have him do in time. Also, I fully expected to spend $300 or more and when the bill came in at $175, I thought it was a bargain. AAAAAA++++!! Thank you, Mike!

Mike returned phone calls promptly. He also arrived on time at each visit. He is an absolute pleasure to talk to and he explains all the work that will be done and is accurate in the time needed to repair the chairs. I'm extremely pleased with the repairs and I could not tell which chairs were repaired and which ones were not. As for my cabinets I can not praise him enough for the miracles he performed with them! Our cabinet hinges have been broken for several years and have tried to have them repaired or replaced and we have been told we would have to replace all the cabinets... sooo not in the budget. They were custom made and the cabinet maker could not provide us with the replacement hinges..... Mike went to the cabinet maker and while he was there a representative from a hinge company was also in the store at the same time.... well Mike is a determined man and really wanted to help us.... he spoke with the rep and was able to obtain the hinges we needed. When he called me and told me the news you could have knocked me over with a feather.... I thought I would have to replace my cabinets..... but he saved us! All the hinges have been replaced and my kitchen looks great! The overall experience was great... I'm so lucky to have found him. I will be recommending him to everyone I know. Mike is honest about what needs to be done and he takes pride in his work....

Could not be more pleased. Mike made a trip to do the appraisal, then a trip--on time--to do the repair. And then a trip when he remembered, after leaving, a small task left undone that would have caused us a problem in the future. He was prompt, cheerful, considerate, explained what he was doing. A real find!

Found Mike in Angie's list. He returned my call and came when he said he would. Returned both items in very timely fashion. Repairs done to my great satisfaction.The cost was very reasonable and I would highly recommend Mike for his professionalism and expertise.

One of the plastic parts of the drawer slide on a chest of drawers had broken off so the drawer did not close completely. Mike replaced the part and even gave us an extra replacement part to keep in case another drawer slide breaks in the future. Mike also looked at two cabinet drawers in our office and gave us an honest assessment of what could and could not be repaired. Mike arrived at the scheduled time and worked efficiently. We will definitely call Mike again for other furniture repairs!

He was prompt, explained well how he would repair it and the approximate cost. He also took the time to inspect a broken dresser drawer and showed how he would repair ti as well. He took both the drawer and the chair and returned them beautifully repaired when he said he would. He also went the extra mile and placed floor savers on all the dining room chairs and repaired a broken knob on another dresser at no extra charge. I was very pleased with his work, service and price and would recommend him to others.

From start to finish, itwas an excellent experience.

Based on the reviews I called Mike and he showed up as scheduled. He examined the recliner and the replacement mechanism that had been supplied by the manufacturer. He determined that the wrong mnechanism had been sent. An attempt to call the company resulted in no reponse. Mike took the old mechinism and the replacement to his shop and returned the following day with a mechanism that worked and completed the repair.

Mike showed up right on time and examined a reclining sofa and recliner with 4 broken handles and a broken actuator cable at no charge. There was no manufacturer information anywhere on the furniture, so he couldn't identify the correct replacement parts. He was thorough in his examination, and he gave some very good advice to my many questions. I hope to not need to have any more furniture repaired, but if I do I would definitely call him.

Perfectly. When I originally called, it was right before Christmas and Mike was stacked up with work. He was up front and said he would call when he could get to my job. A few days after Christmas he called, we arranged for him to come pick up the table. When he arrived he looked over the table and gave me a quote. It was obvious he is very good and knowledgeable about wood furniture and how to repair and maintain it. A couple of days later (earlier than expected) he called to say it was ready. Be brought it over, I think it was on Saturday of that week, and I wrote him a check for the original agreed amount. Beautiful work.

Mike goes out of his way to do the job! A gem!

Mike was AWESOME. I called him into repair a leg on a chair. He actually did all the legs on both chairs that actually would have needed repair in the future. He aslo went over and above and assisted me with picking up dining room set and assembled the entire set. I will be working with Mike again in the future to repair a sofa.

I had three pieces of furniture that needed repairs (two end tables and a dining room chair). I left a message with Mike in the morning and he returned my call later in the afternoon, when we set up a time to meet so he could evaluate the repairs and give me an estimate. He showed up right on time and in the process of looking at the furniture recommended another company to work on the tables that he thought would do a better job. His estimate for the chair was reasonable, so he took it back to his shop to repair. He returned several days later with the chair repaired to my satisfaction
