CREGGER CO INC

This company was dishonest and unprofessional. I just finished a remodeling project and ordered all of my plumbing supplies through Cregger Company. Regina, the sales rep, spent a good amount of time with me showing my different options, and we went into detail about the price of every of every item. I was spending a good deal of money at this store and asked Regina if she could come down on a number of items as each item was actually cheaper online. I was willing to pay a little more to have "someone on my side" as she explained and to have the personal contact between the company and my contractor and plumber. I received the final bill from the contractor that just listed the plumber's total charges. The itemized list from Cregger was not included, but when i asked for it the plumber immediately provided it. All of the prices were about 10% higher so i called Cregger. Regina said she would take care of it. I did not hear back from her and called again. She had talked with Tim her supervisor who said that this was the price plus the plumber's markup. I spoke with the plumber who said that usually he is given a discount then a markup is added so the quote and the final price are very close. This did not happen in this case. My complaint was that i was charged over $1000 more than i was told i would be charged. I asked Cregger to show me a receipt of what my plumber paid them. They said they would not show me that. I explained that i was never told there would be a markup , and we had spent hours working on prices that would fit my budget. A company cannot charge significantly more and never inform the customer. They are trying to put this issue off now by saying I am not their customer, but the plumber is their customer. I am sure they considered me their customer when i was choosing supplies totaling almost $10,000. It has been a month with many phone calls. Each call ends with Tim or Regina saying they will take care of it. Then i never hear from them again. DO NOT GO TO CREGGER. This transaction was very dishonest. I am sure they assumed i would never see the bill.
