Rich was very professional and prompt with coming out for estimates and service. He was realistic about his work load and turn around time. PORCH REPAIR: The level of damage to the porch was an unknown until the carpentry team began to dismantle and examine the degree of the water damage. They rebuilt the roof, replacing damaged wood and major support beam, moved an existing column to provide proper support of the roof, and did an all-around fine job on the porch repair. It was necessary to replace the guttering on the porch as well, which was done a few days later. I felt the pricing was very fair considering the amount of material and labor involved in this repair. NEW ROOF: The new roof was done over a two-day period and the crew was prompt and courteous. Everyone cleaned up nicely and Rich wanted to be sure that we were satisfied with the work and invited us to call him if any concerns arose later. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The guys with Triad Installations were hired to replace 8 very old windows, install new roofing, aluminum siding on the wooden areas and new seamless gutters, replace front door, and replace old wrought iron columns on the porch with new aluminum fluted columns. They arrived promptly on the scheduled day and had all 8 windows replaced before they left. This was the first part of all the work they did. They were quick, professional and did an outstanding job. They had the old windows out and the new ones installed before we knew it. They took care to install the windows properly, caulked them and even helped repair a couple of existing screens on other windows that were damaged. After the windows were done, they started with the siding on all the wooden parts of the house (it is mostly brick except for near the roof.) While this detail work took longer than the windows, there was continuous progress and the areas needed for the new gutters were completed first to have them ready for the "gutter man." In the meantime, the roofers came in and removed the old shingles and installed new architectural shingles on half the roof in one afternoon. They rushed to do this because rain was forecast the next day and they wanted to get a head start. As it turned out the rain never came and the roofers finished roofing on the 2nd day. Fantastic work that looks beautiful. After a couple of days, the gutter man was scheduled to come in and install the new seamless gutters which was done in less than a day on a 1600sf ranch house. More outstanding, professional work. When he was finished, the regular crew was back to finish the siding and install a new front door and the new columns on the front porch. This work was done quickly and professionally. They had to remove a storm door to replace the entry door and then they re-installed the storm door. They moved the existing locks on the door to the new door and made sure everything was aligned and the locks work better now than they did before. They also installed new vinyl shutters which look great. We had an issue with the sizes on a couple of them (which was our fault) and Rich was great working with us to get it looking how we wanted. In total, these guys are good. They all have years of experience and Rich runs specialized crews for each phase of the job ensuring that the workers know what they are doing and are not roofing one day and putting in windows the next. We recommend them 100%. Price was good, work was great, and it was an overall pleasant experience which is more than we can say for other contractors we have hired.

Everything was professional from start to finish. The owner and crew were great to work with. I would call on Rich again for roofing anytime. I believe that Rich has integrity in his business dealings. A quality not found with some contractors. They came in, did the work, and were done in a day and a half. They carted off my old windows and all the scraps from the installation. They left the area under my windows outside cleaner than they were before they came.

While I consider major home repairs to be somewhat the equivalent of getting a tooth pulled....something you put off until you can wait no longer, I'd have to say this experience was much better than expected. From the beginning of this process with Rich he did a nice job of explaining in detail what was required to remove the existing roofing and install the new roof including what products he would be using, how the job would be done, even right down to the length of nails they would be using. The thing I appreciated the most about my interactions with Rich is that he didn't try to up sell anything to me. After he came to my house and took all necessary measurements, explained what needed to be done, he then quoted a price that was very competitive with other roofers I had already gotten estimates from. I asked him to verify that was going to be the final "out the door" price and he quickly responded "That's it, final price". The job was scheduled to begin about 7:00 am and both the crew and materials were here by 7:10. When I returned home from work around 5:30 the roof replacement was completed and the yard was already cleared of the debris from the removed roofing. After the job was completed Rich came back a few days later on a Saturday no less and talked with me for another 30 minutes answering questions I had thought of after the project was completed while his wife sat patiently in his truck. The roof looks really nice and the quality of the workmanship helps me feel comfortable that this roof will have many years of a maintenance free life ahead of it.

They were easy to work with. They returned phone calls. We didn't hire them as all we needed was a chimney sweep.

Ultimately we decided to go with someone else.

Of the three companies we called to quote, Rich was the only one who actually went up on the roof to inspect and measure it. All employees who did the job were polite and hard working, got here on time, and finished on promised date. All debris was cleaned up and carried away. Workmanship is good and we would highly recommend Triad Installations. Pricing was in good range.

Rich was extremely responsive and punctual. He kept me updated on all parts of the work and did exactly what he said he would do. If there was any room for improvement - there were a few loose shingles and nails found after the workers left in the grass, but this was very minimal. A couple months after the work was done, there were a couple of popped nails and Rich had someone out to fix them within 48 hours.

Rich Barlow was straightforward and very responsive to our needs for a new roof. Pricing was competitive with other quotes I had received but what set him and his company apart was his professionalism. His guys arrived on the date agreed upon and finished a half day early (on a 2.5 day roof job). If we end up needing any additional work done to our house - new siding or windows - we will definitely use him again. Would definitely recommend Rich and Triad Installations for all things roofing, siding or windows.

I was looking to get my roof replaced. Was happy with Rick's quote compared to others. He offered samples of colors, and I changed the color a few days later. He was helpful with this change. The installers were very used to working as a team and worked quickly. I found no trash on my grass or brick patio after their work. I also had gutters and leaf guards installed- and they have worked well. I would use his services again.

The job went very well! Our roof was completed in two days. The workers showed up on time and were friendly and courteous. Our roof looks wonderful, and we are very pleased. The workers also cleaned up when they were finished.

Coming home from a rough day at work all I could see was a beautiful new roof on my house. In short, my husband recently passed away from an extended illness. Much had not been done to keep up the house or yard. The first major need was to fix the leaking roof. I asked around including someone working in housing. Not getting a comforting answer I went to Angie?s list because of the protected nature of the referrals. I called one but did not immediately get a call back. Triad Installations quickly returned my call. From beginning to end I could not have asked for a better experience. Rich set up an appointment to come to my house and give me an estimate. He took the time to talk to me, answering all of my questions. His crew came in, hard working, polite and focused. Other than instantly seeing my gorgeous new roof there is no evidence of anyone being there except my dog. The best parts of this whole experience are 1) I was treated with respect, never feeling like I was being taken advantage, 2) everything explained to my understanding and comfort, estimate was in detail and specific, 3) work started and finished quickly and efficiently. I?m still staring at my gorgeous new roof. Fourth and best, there?s more work to be done and now, I won?t need to go looking for another business that can do it. I contacted Triad Installations along with five other roofing companies requesting estimates for removing/replacing a 25 year old roof on an investment property. Rich Barlow replied to my Angie?s List request almost immediately by both email and by phone. When I spoke with Rich, I explained that I lived out side the area and was on a tight time frame on receiving a quote and having the roof work done. I had just learned that my new insurance company was canceling my insurance policy because of the aged roof if I didn?t get it replaced by a certain date. Within 3 day of first contacting Rich I received an estimate by email. I was pleased by the price to complete the work. I had to wait several days before making a final decision while I waited on the other companies to provide me their estimates. Once I received all the estimates I decided to do business with Rich. None of the other companies even came close to touching Rich?s price to do the work. After reviewing comments on Angie?s List and confirming Triad Installations A+ rating with the BBB it all came down price. I confirmed with Rich that I wanted his company to do the work and within a week and half I had a new roof on my house. Rich even took before and after pictures and texted them to me. Rich was knowledgeable, pleasant, efficient and bent over backwards to accommodate my needs.

Rich was very professional and gave me advises on what type of shingles i needed to install also on color selection. The work they did was fabulous and I absolutely love our new architecture roof. I was particularly impressed that Rich responds to all of his customers who post a reeview on Angie's List. Rich is a very professional man who walked us through the step-by-step process of replacing the roof. He answered all of our questions and made us feel comfortable about the project. The project start was delayed because of rain, but once it began everything went smoothly. His crew was polite, professional, and hard-working. They were careful not to hurt my bedding plants and were careful to ensure that all nails were removed from our yard. It was a 2- day job and I appreciate that they cleaned up after each day. Needed estimate in preparation to sell our house. Punctulal, helpful & polite.

Prompt with estimate process. Stuck to the estimate, did job in timely manner, matched roofing material nicely, cleaned up site perfectly. This is the second job they have done for us. Liked them so much the first time around that we didn't hesitate using them again. It was hard to get a company to do such a small job, but they come out on time for the estimate and had no problem just roofing a shed. Friendly workers that communicated with me the whole time, making sure I was pleased with their work. Not a nail or piece of shingle was left behind. I really couldn't tell they had even been there, they cleaned up so well.

Rich was very good at letting us know the details and giving advice on various options for roofing. We ended up going with the Architectural Shingles and had a ridge vent installed and his price was very competitive. The workers were punctual and did a great job, not complaints at all and the roof looks great. Would definitely go with them again in the future, they were great to work with.

Rich is extremely knowledgeable about roofing systems as he took the time to explain pertinent details at the time of providing the estimate. On installation day, the crew arrived on time and expeditiously started the replacement of the roof. All crew members were courteous and very respectful during the engagement which is of the utmost importance for me as a female. Rich also was present to check in on the job and to answer any questions. The roof install was completed at the time estimated. Also all materials were hauled away restoring the landscape to its original state. I highly recommend Rich and his crew for the installation of a roof.

if I could rate a company A+++, this would be one of them. I found this company on Angie's List initially after having a few other contractors out to give me estimates on replacing my roof. When I contacted this company, their response time was great initially and I received a call from Rich himself, the owner. We discussed my needs over the phone and he gave me a ballpark estimate, sight unseen, but made a follow up appointment to come out and ensure the initial estimate was correct. He was on time, very personable and knowledgable and his estimate over the phone was exactly the amount of his final quote, which was $700 less than any other contractor. Obviously I chose his company for the job and the day they were scheduled to be here at 7:30 am to start, they were actually 15 minutes early!! Can you imagine? Most of the time I'm left sitting around waiting. The crew was respectful and did an awesome job on my roof. I couldn't be more pleased and I'm quite picky about work done on my home. The job was supposed to take a day and a half but really only took a day and about an hour to finish up the second day. The crew left my yard completely clean and my house with a beautiful new roof. Rich even stopped by after the job was completed. If you need any type of work done on your home, I would HIGHLY recommend Triad Installations and Rich. You won't be disappointed!
