My experience with Paul McCoy of MAC Construction (www.gilmaccontracting.com) fell well below professional contracting standards. He was to perform a demolition of my basement and install an electrical panel for a waterproofing pump. Key issues included poor project planning, lack of communication, unauthorized work that exceeded the agreed scope that I had clearly communicated verbally and in writing, property damage (storm door, dryer disconnection, unplugged freezer causing food spoilage), and electrical outlet problems left unresolved (a friend of mine cleared up the issue). Paul failed to inspect his team's work (instead he relied on 3 videos submitted by his crew ? none of which conveyed the damages). He missed an appointment he scheduled to resolve this nightmare ? he simply did not show up without noticed. He stated he was ?too busy". Unfortunately, Paul appears to be a ?contractor in training? or should stick with roofing only. Would NOT recommend employing his services.

Pauls work is outstanding. I highly recommend Paul.
