I had called a sewage company to come and flush my septic system. I was in the my backyard with the two men who came to do the job and I was walking by the door leading to my crawl space and heard what sounded like water. I called one of the workers over and when he opened the door to the crawl space we found the area flooded and could clearly hear water gushing. He turned off the water and told me I needed a plumber. I asked him if he knew of one and he said yes, his brother was a plumber and immediately called him for me. His brother, Mr. Cook was on a job but said he could be at my house in 2 hours. Two hours later he arrived at my house, found the pipe his brother has identified as leaking and replaced the pipe. He waited at my house for the 20 minutes needed before the water could be turned back on. When he turned on the water we could still hear water gushing. He went back into the crawl space, found the 2nd leak and replaced that pipe. This happened one more time requiring a 3rd pipe to be replaced. Finally, silence, no more leaks! I asked Mr. Cook if I owed him any additional money given that he had been called out for a single leak, not three and he said no. He had been at my house 2 hours!! After we discovered the 3rd leak and I knew he would wait the allotted time before he could turn on the water I asked him to look at the faucet (seal c***) that had been a problem and it was only after replacing it he charged me more then the original $80 he had quoted. Let me add, he attempted to fix the problem by putting in a new washer (no charge) that did not fix the problem before he replaced it ($55.00). 3 water pipes and a seal c*** replaced and 2 hours of his time for $135 was a more than a fair price. Mr. Cook is the only plumber I will ever call, he was fantastic.
Description of Work: Mr. Cook replaced 3 water pipes that were gushing water. When I called him I thought it was just ONE! He showed me each pipe he replaced and I could clearly see where each one was damaged. He also replaced an outdoor faucet that would not turn completely off.
