Very prompt inspection and competitive quote. They matched another company's slightly lower price. Installation work started on time and quickly completed. Some problems occurred with the post work city inspection . Poor communication between the company inspectors, the workmen and the city inspectors led to 8 or more visits and follow up work to the residence by these parties, until the inspection was given. This is a good company with skilled and professional employees. Their office staff is great. They just need better communication and coordination between the techs and with city/county inspectors

The prices are very fair, and I am very pleased with my Carrier system in my home.

They come early fall to do the furnace and early spring to do the air conditioner. They are a good deal and other people should use them. They do what we want them to do so why would we go anywhere else. They do what they are suppose to do. They are fine. They come when they are suppose to come and do what they are suppose to do and I don't have to worry about it.

It went very well. Works completed over three says with no significant time without heat. Furnace installed was an upgrade from what was quoted for the quoted lower price of original quoted unit. Unit was within 2% of high efficiency furnace that could be installed without major modifications and work to adapt house to accept the high efficiency type furnace. Also, had higher efficiency fan and induced burn. 1st day brought new furnace, scoped out what was needed to be done to adapt to existing duct work and AC installation. 2nd day took out old furnace, installed new furnace and had it running. 3rd day Wrapped up fine points of instillation cleaned up area. Was during heating season and had no significant cool down between removal of old unit and start up of new unit.

They were punctual and serviced the HVAC, switched filters, and since this is a new house for us, explained the HVAC system, the programmable thermostat.  Answered all questions and was thorough with the answers.

I have had excellent experience with them. They do an excellent job. We pay for it yearly. They make sure our filters are changed and cleaned, and then they give us a run down of what they have done, and why they have done it. They are very informative of what is going on, and that is why we like them. We have been using them for the last 10 years.

Thompson Mechanical was extremely nice when calling the office. The technician came out for a free estimate very shortly after I made the first phone call to them. The first time they installed the gas piping it was not approved by the city. It took Thompson mechanical another week before they came back out to fix the installation problem. Once fixed, inspection was passed. They were very knowledgable about electric water heaters and plan on using them for that in the future.

My husband has known the owner for years so he has always went to them. They do good work and he trusts them. We've used them several times.

Thompson is always prompt and reliable. We used them two years ago to replace our furnace and air conditioning because of their high level of service. As this is a second home for us, it is imperative to have any issues addressed when we are there. They have been great at scheduling and accommodating us during our time in Hendersonville. When we had our old furnace, they were always good about making repairs. I feel that their prices are reasonable, but most importantly, we trust their service.

As promised, I was contacted prior to the service technician's arrival. The technician worked quickly to discover the problem and make the necessary repairs. He was very courteous and competent.

We received a thorough explanation both verbally and in writing of the work to be done.  It was done promptly.  We were able to schedule the replacement at our convenience.  The installers were professional, tidy and the service man who came out to check the work found that a replacement valve needed to be ordered for the gas.  At this time of year, we were happy to have the air conditioner working properly.  As soon as the valve came in, it was installed.  The office staff was courteous and efficient.  They accommodated our schedule.  They registered both the furnace and the air conditioner so that we could be covered by the warranty, without being asked.  They did everything they said they would do.  We will continue to use them for maintenance in the future.

I would say that they are very competent.

We converted from electricity to natural gas and we bought our new furnace from them and we put in a new gas tank less water heater and we got that from them too.  They are A #1 and they know what they are doing.  We have a crawl space and they put in the filters for us.  I just call them and they will come and change the filters.  In the fall they came out and covered up our air conditioning units and then set the thermostats for the winter time.  They are very professional.  I pay them a maintenance fee to do this.    They replace the nozzles and changes the filters as part of the preventative maintenance.  They tell you when they are coming to our home.  We will use them again in the future. 

Have dealt with them for a number of years.  They are prompt, professional and do quality work.  Very honest in their dealings, highly recommended.

They are good and I have used them for 25 years. They are dependable, know what they are doing and I always have had good luck with them. This company had a good reputation in the community and is very prompt. I give them A's in all categories and will use them again in the future.

THey were so very helpful and with a contract they come out twice a year SPring and Fall. THey start our humidifier, change the filters, clean and maintain the units. This time I asked them to check for mold. THey were very thorough and found some which they treated. THey gave suggestions and offered several options for work that needs to be done. WE love Thompson Mechanical.
