I'm so pleased with the work by this company - plan to have them back yearly at least. Called for an appointment on Thursday & got a return call that day. They were here by Monday; would have been here Friday except I didn't return their call fast enough! The man at the office was very professional and explained how to start the estimate online and then their procedure step by step. The man that came and cleaned our windows was prompt, professional, pleasant and consistently pressed on until he was finished 6 1/2 hours later. He even made the windows with vaporization damage look good. The price was very reasonable. I highly recommend Oak City Home Services and intend to hire them again.

Ok so here are the details. This worker came out, on time, polite, hard working and washed every window in the house including some I didn't even know I had. Ok well, I knew they were there but it never occurred to me that they would REALLY wash them because they were like 25 ft high. They were here for hours and every window, including the ones on the door and front and back screens was cleaned, gutters and dryer vent were cleaned, and driveway was pressure washed. My windows have not looked this good since the day they were installed. They also worked quietly and efficiently and well, I actually fell asleep while they were working. I plan on doing the window and gutter cleaning twice a year at least. Great company, great service!

Communication was tough because the provider was not seeing messages in the order in which they were sent through the website. The only communication was through the website until it was decided that due to the weather the provider would reschedule me. He used my email to communicate the rescheduling as opposed to the website and it went to my junk folder. I had been waiting since the beginning of December for this service and due to scheduling issues, weather and the holidays it could not be done until today which was then rescheduled until tomorrow. I asked for a refund because enough is enough and I can no longer continue this back and forth.

They did a good job, no debris left around. My house is about 2800 sq feet.

They did a great job. Fast and effective. We would definitely recommend in the future.

Went great! We hired them to do the same work last year and knew what their price was for doing this work on our house. We have two additional areas that are not included in our sq footage since they are porches on the front and the back of our home. We came to a reasonable price and I was able to leave the money for them on our door since I wasn't going to be home the day they were going to perform the work. I've recommended them to my neighbors that are tired of dealing w/ the drive around hustlers that offer to clean gutters, but they never do completely clean the gutters.

Might've been the holiday season, but I attempted to contact the provider several times (twice through Angies List, twice by phone and email). I had scheduled potential dates for the service through Angies List. Provider did not come nor did he contact me to try to set up a later date. I tried to initiate contact through Angie's list messaging system and phone twice with no response. I finally tried a third time and also emailed. He responded to the email and gave me a date that was much later than when I needed the job to be done. I decided to cancel and get a refund. I was not happy with the lack of communication. He did not come out so I can not speak of the service he can do.

Performed work as promised. Simple straight forward transaction.

I did ask him to go gentle near the windows, mine are old. Most of the home really improved but one section of the home could have been cleaned better

It took a few weeks and phone calls to get a response for scheduling the service. The work did not happen on the date provided. There was no update from the service provider as to when the work would be rescheduled. The job was done about a week later without being scheduled and while I was not at the house. From what I can tell the quality of the work was good. I will not be using this provider in the future due to poor scheduling.

I booked through Angie's List Nov 20th. They emailed me that day asking for my contact information. I provided it that day. I never heard from them. I assumed maybe they were out for the week of Thanksgiving so I called them on December 1 and left a voice message. Several days went by and I did not hear from them so I called again. This time Michael answered the phone and said it was strange that they didn't reply. When I asked about why they didn't reply to my voice mail he said "I have like 50 voicemails at the moment". He told me that even though I wasn't notified they had gone ahead and scheduled it and that they should be there Thursday, December 10 at 3pm. He apologized that I hadn't been notified of the scheduling. I worked from home that day to make sure I was available for them, and they never showed up. I called them back the following Monday and got voicemail. At this point I am done trying with this company. If you don't want to work don't offer a service.

It took a while to get the service scheduled, but it eventually was carried out and it looks like he did a good job. For the price I would do it again.

What else is there to say, he got up (and down, and up and down...) on his ladder and cleaned by hand and blowed the pine straw off the gutters. And cleaned up after himself.

There were numerous delays/misunderstandings. The provider was very nice and professional, and I would use the service again except for the fact that the two windows which were dirtiest (bird droppings) still were not clean after the provider left, unfortunately.

Not as well. When I purchased it it put you in the question answer about when you can schedule it and give me three times or give me three different options and as good as the guy was from the garage door and responsiveness, scheduling, I think he was here last Monday and I purchased that, I don't even remember, it seemed like a very long time from the time of purchase to the actual time that he got here. He said he would be there on Friday and not only did he not come but he never even contacted us to say that he wasn't going to be there. Now the weather was a little bit crazy and you know and there were times where we could understand that he didn't want to be standing on our roof because it was raining or something like that and even then from a customer stand point he should have at least called and said hey you know there's no way I'm going to be able to get out to your place and you know I'll reschedule for Monday or give me another time or emailed me or text me I mean there are so many ways for companies to get in contact with people anymore it doesn't seem legitimate anymore if they say they couldn't get a hold of you or they didn't have the time it takes, I mean it takes seconds to put a text together and say sorry I've run into a problem. Then he showed up on a day that we didn't even expect him.

I need my gutters cleaned and saw Oak City Home Services Angie's List deal. They had pretty good reviews so I bought the deal in mid October which was valid for 6 months. I received an auto email from the business asking me when I'd like to schedule and responded that I wanted to wait until end of November or early December. I called Oak City Home Services on Dec 1 and 2, left messages that I wanted to schedule to have the work done. No response. Nothing. I called Angie's List customer service and they offered to contact the business. Today I called Angie's List and they said the vender was unresponsive to them (last contact 12/3/15). So...Angie's List is trying to find someone else who will do the work for which Oak City Home Services did not honor their commitment after receiving payment. Seller's remorse maybe???

Service was performed with a leaf blower. Showed up 1 day after the agreed date of service, without notice. Poor Communication from start to finish.

We had additional charges because we have a larger home. It was $25 extra. We had the whole ordeal to try to get them out here. It took them a long time. They didn't set the appointment properly. I bought it back in April and they forgot to contact me to set the appointment. There's a lot of back and forth with them.

They did an awesome job! I have NEVER had anyone who cleaned my gutters also clean up the debris. They not only cleaned up the back deck, but also my front sidewalk. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

I have contacted the provider multiple times to schedule the service. They were slow to respond and then when they scheduled a service, they did not come out to perform the job, nor did they contact me to let me know that they weren't coming or to reschedule service at a later time. It has now been more than a month since I have purchased the service. It has been an extremely frustrating process. As a result, our gutters are overflowing and providing drainage issues elsewhere in our yard. To say that we're disappointed is an understatement.

Delayed due to lot of rain but did not keep me informed. Gutters cleaned OK but looked average after cleaning. Hose in back yard was not spooled back on hose reel and water faucet left open. Overall about average.

Rip off of my money. I'll never pre buy off this website again!
