Description of Work: They did a good job. There was a post installation electrical problem that appeared to be an equipment manufacturing problem that caused an occasional electrical short. Carolina Comfort Air made multiple trips to resolve it to our satisfaction.

Our sales rep Justin was very responsive and always seemed very personally interested that we were happy during every step of the process. Description of Work: Gary from Carolina Air was fantastic. He did a very professional and complete cleaning if both of my outdoor units as well as inspection of my internal air handlers. He also was able to diagnose and repair one unit and make the other more efficient in cooling. (Saving me money in cooling bills this summer). Very happy with the service.

+ -1 moreThe initial call was to have our central a/c unit proactively upgraded along with key pieces of the possibly original duct work in our crawl space. We chose not to upgrade the a/c at this time, but did choose to have the duct work completed. First, the initial quoting of both jobs was extremely thorough and detailed. The estimating procedure far exceeded any I've had with HVAC, where often the salesperson doesn't seem to know the ins and outs of installation. In this case, the estimators examined every aspect of the current system and how a newly upgraded system would fit into the mix. Finally, they were willing to actually do the duct work. Unbelievably, we had the duct work estimated a few times before, and each time we were steered in some direction that did not involve doing what we requested. When the team came to do the duct work, they were professional, courteous, explained what they were doing, and were extremely conscientious. The new duct system was installed with thought. That is, it wasn't just thrown in there. The layout thoughtfully makes the best use of the space. The installation team truly went above and beyond. This was a "small" job, but they didn't make it seem any less important than the bigger upgrade they probably hoped for. That, too, is impressive in its own right.

Description of Work: The downstairs heat pump went out last year and Carolina Comfort Air put in a new heat pump for us. Now the heat pump upstairs went out and they came out last week to try to repair and give us an estimate. They come out every Fall and Spring to check and make sure everything is working properly.

They call and make an appointment. Even if I forget about the appointment, they remind me. They come and check everything. They check the heating and air conditioning. They remain here for a good hour. They check everything and if there is something wrong, they explain and show me that. They are very professional. I would continue to use them in the future.
Description of Work: I used Carolina Comfort Air Inc last week. I have a contract with them for every year. They come twice a year before summer to check the air conditioning. They do maintenance and clean the unit. They do the same thing for the heating before the winter. I pay $180 for the year. I get a discount on the charge and I don’t pay for the labor.
