Mike & son arrived at time set & set right to work. They moved washer & dryer plus refrigerate out in kitchen. Put down place flooring in kitchen. They were efficient & fast & all work was excellent. Would recommend them to others.

Mike and Brandon were awesome!! I was in a real bind and they were able to help me out in a very short period of time. They were very professional and did a very professional job. I highly recommend them and would absolutely use their service again.

If i could rate lower than F on professionalism i would. I hired Mr Powley to install a bathroom floor and subway tile up the wall. Mr. Powley started out on the job as the perfect contractor. On time, professional, good quality work. However the second to the last day he was here he finished the grout on the floor and walls. The next day i noticed that there were numerous places he missed applying the grout. I marked all the spots with tape and he came back the final day to finish the sink install. Immediately after me informing Mr Powley about all the spots he missed, he snapped into a different mode, completely unprofessional refusing to answer any questions or even make eye contact until it was time to accept his check. I feel as if i was being punished for his oversight which translated into his personality doing a 360 and poor customer service. If he wants to continue to work with people he should pick his attitude more carefully to avoid reviews like this.

They were very responsive to all calls and emails prior to picking up all materials at Home Depot for us. They went straight to work which went like clockwork. They are extremely efficient and their work is total perfection. They also shaved the bottom of a door which had been rubbing and now it opens and closes beautifully. They clean up very thoroughly.

I cannot say enough about the incredible job Mike and Brendan did installing our hardwood floor, molding and trim. The work they did exceeded all expectations and they are by far the most professional, meticulous and hardest working team we have ever had. For the 3rd floor of our home, they ripped up the existing sub floor and molding to a create a clean working surface to lay the new floor. They ensured the areas of the original squeaking subfloor was screwed down tight and cut all of the door molding to match the floor’s height. They identified an issue with the wood product we originally purchased and immediately brought it to our attention. It turned out that the product we purchased was defective. Had they installed it, we would have been out thousands of dollars, but with their careful eye for detail, they were able to catch it so we could get it corrected prior to installation. They arrived promptly every day, left our home as clean as it was when they arrived, and the work they did installing the floor was immaculate. This included the installation of hardwood floor, 5-inch baseboard, staining / installing the quarter round and also the bullnose to match the floor color. I highly recommend them and look forward to having them back when we remodel our 2nd floor.

He was there when he said he would be. He was neat and cleaning with the installation of my floors. He removed the toilets and moldings and you would never know that he did any of that...that is how good he is. He put everything back the way it was before. In fact the tank on my toilet was loose and he fixed it. I would say he is VERY professional. I am telling everyone I know what a great flooring person I found. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great installer... He will be coming back to do my kitchen floor within a few months

Mike did an outstanding job on the installation of my prefinished hardwood flooring. His communication is great, he does what he says he will do and you will not be disappointed with his work. I highly recommend him.

Mike responded promptly to our request for an estimate, discussed our project options in detail, and was available to complete our projects within 3 weeks of our first encounter. His installation rates are very competitive! He arrived on time every day he was scheduled to work. He was conversational, polite, professional and courteous to everyone in our home (especially our children whom he constantly had to work around)! He allowed us to complete much of the demo work ourselves which saved us considerable money. He cleaned up after himself daily. We will definitely utilize his services again in the future.

Mike came out and gave us an estimate for the work we wanted him to do. He arrived at the time we agreed upon and gave us an estimate for the work we requested. Mike and his son arrived promptly at the scheduled time to do the job. They took up the carpet from the living room, dining room and bedroom on the first floor as well as two bedrooms upstairs and the second- floor landing/loft area. They also removed the padding from the second floor, which they hauled away for us along with the carpet from the second floor. They installed the carpet that was removed from the first floor (which was new carpet) in the two bedrooms and the landing/loft area on the second floor. We supplied the padding for the installation in the second-floor rooms. Mike and his son worked quickly and efficiently and were so nice to work with. The entire job took them only three hours to complete. They did an excellent job and we will definitely call them in the future.

It worked out excellent. They were on time. He did everything he said he would. Pricing is outstanding. He is just terrific!

The job took approximately four days to complete. Mike worked with me over the course of a month and half to schedule the job since I was purchasing the home. During that time, he provided recommendations on suppliers to get the materials and worked with me to schedule the job as soon as possible accounting for material acclimation. His response time to all my inquiries was excellent. Thank you so much for transforming my space into what I truly wanted!

From beginning to end of this project, it was a pleasure to work with Mike and Brandon Powley. This was a large job involving almost 2500 sf of glued-down wood flooring. In every aspect of this work, they were prompt, diligent, skilled, and very professional. They accommodated my schedule with regard to tasks being done by other contractors without complaint. The project was completed on schedule and their workmanship was superb.

Mike did a great job! First, he tried very hard to get the job done as quickly as possible and we cannot thank him enough for that. He is a very hard working person. His promptness and quality of work is excellent. His price was competitive and we're happy with the results. We would definitely use Mike again!

Mike and his son were GREAT! They came promptly (actually 2 minutes early) at 9am on a holiday morning and quickly and efficiently performed the repair. They came in, went right to work, and in just about an hour and a half, completed the repair, cleaned up and left. It looks great!! I'd highly recommend them to anyone who needs flooring work done!

Company did not to call to cancel appointment that caused me to miss a meeting I could have attended if I would have known he was not going to show up. If I would have not called I would have not known he was not going to show up. I understand things change but not to call to cancel an appointment is unacceptable. I did not expect this from a company on Angie's list.

Even though I had some anxiety because of the enormity of the project, the entire project went very well. Mike Powley & his son did an excellent job. Compared to the other estimates I received for the project from other providers, Mike's estimate was very competitive & included much more detail than the other estimates, which I appreciated. There was no stone left unturned, so to speak. Mike & his son were very prompt, courteous, personable, & did an excellent job. Mike & his son have years of experience with all kinds of flooring projects, so I had no worries about the job being done the right way the first time. I would not hesitate to employ Mike for any subsequent flooring project, and would highly recommend his company to anyone for any flooring project. We are extremely pleased with the way the project essentially transformed the appearance of our home.

Mike, Brandon and Wendy were fantastic!! The install job they did looks great!! We had new bamboo floors installed on the lower level of our home. Mike was on time each day of the 3-day install. The first day consisted of pulling up the hardwoods installed by the builder. Mike and his son pulled up 90% of the floors that day and when they were done for the day, they cleaned up everything. The 2nd day consisted of completing demo and starting the install. The install went faster than I thought it would and they made sure I was happy with the progress. At the end of day 2, Mike made sure to explain to me the creaks you heard when walking on the floor was normal for a floating floor and would eventually stop as the boards settled in. On day 3, the install was completed and all the quarter round put back in place. The job they did was fantastic and would definitely hire them back!

Mike was punctual and professional. He was clear and thorough with his estimate, which was absolutely reasonable. The work was done well and within the time frame he provided. At the end of his work with us, we felt like we'd more than gotten our money's worth and we would absolutely hire him again, in fact, we hope to!

Mike as well as his son and wife all worked on the floors. We knew it would look good but it was even better than expected. They cleaned up everyday and Mike obviously takes pride in his work! We are using him again later to do some subway tile. Would highly recommend.

Mike and son did an excellent job installing the new hardwoods on our stairs and in the hallway and installing new carpeting in two of our bedrooms. They completed all of the work in two or three days and I felt their estimate was reasonable for the amount of work involved in removing the prefab stair planks and installing new ones.I highly recommend this company/team to other Angie's list members.

Mike was on time for this appointment. He came in and went to work. Mike's knowledge was right on the money. I was very pleased with the finish product and I would recommend him to all my family and friends. I will definitely contact Mike on my next floor project. Thank You Mike..

I contacted Mike and he called me back the next day. He made an appointment to come out and give a quote on the next Saturday. I had a small patch of carpet between dining room and kitchen that needed to be stretched. Also, I wanted him to see if he could do anything for a piece of hardwood that had been stained years ago due to dog urine. .He arrived promptly, assessed the situation, and told me what he thought could be done/not done with the piece of hardwood. He sanded it down, applied a stain, and covered with polyurethane. It is still visible but not quite as bad as it was. He cut and stretched the carpet piece that needed stretching and advised me to get a run cleaner to improve the look where the wrinkle had been. It looks so much better. Initially we had quoted $150 but when it became apparent that hard wood would not look that much better, he only charged me $50 for the carpet stretching. He was at my house for less than 1/2 hour. I was impressed with Mike and would definitely use him again.

Everything was great and he gave me a great price. Very professional and polite. Would use him again in the future.
