During the heavy rains of Hurricane Michael, water began leaking into our master bedroom. I called two contractors for quotes. The first contractor indicated there were multiple issues with our roof due to the roof being 15 years old and shoddy construction by our builder. He did not see enough weather damage to justify an insurance claim. The second contractor, Brian Craft with Tru Restoration, agreed with the first contractor’s assessment that most of the issues were due to typical wear and tear over 15 years as well as shoddy construction. However, he did see a few tiles with wind damage and thought there was enough damage to justify an insurance claim. Brian has experience on the insurance side of the business and was able to walk me through the process of filing an insurance claim. He provided me with all of the information I would need, even the phone number to call to submit my claim. He made the process quick and simple. He arranged to be here the morning the insurance adjuster arrived so he could get on the roof with the adjuster and point out the damaged tiles that they might have otherwise missed. Given there were only a few tiles damaged, my insurance company would not pay for an entire roof replacement but they did agree to pay for half. Had I gone with the first contractor, I would have paid 100% out of pocket. In addition, Brian’s quote came in $500 less than the other quote. And as a bonus, Brian is a genuinely nice guy that I trust and enjoyed working with. He was very patient with me as I asked a lot of questions, sometime taking my calls late in the evening. The day of the roof replacement went very smoothly. The crew showed up at 7:30AM and finished the job around 5:30PM that same day. The crew was professional, friendly and did a great job cleaning up. The roof looks fantastic and I no longer have to live with a bucket in my master bedroom! I highly recommend Brian and Tru Restoration!

Home was re-roofed months prior to our purchase. Leak developed in the sunroom. Called Tru- restoration who came out, did some work to repair. No charge. Leak came back. Called three times before talking with Tru Restore. Said they would call me back. Did not. Called again, said they would call me back within an hour. Did not. Called three more times over a week. No answer. Wife called, scheduled appt. They did not show up nor call. Whatever the reason may be, no customer should be treated this way if they expect to be a viable contractor.

I was referred to Tru Restoration by a friend. I am a novice home owner and I ask a LOT of questions. The whole process, from inspection, insurance, build and final details was handled professionally and with the highest level of customer service. Jamie Davis, who was my project coordinator was spot on during the whole process and obviously knew what he was doing. He had a great crew and managed them well. Their crew was respectful and answered questions as I had them as well. Provided excellent clean up as well! Scott, the owner, was excellent at answering all my questions. Both he and Jamie make a great team. I would highly recommend this company, and moreover, these people to anyone who needs home improvements.

The whole process (outside of the bank approving the insurance checks) went very well. The work was done quickly and it was done with very good quality. The crew was very respectful, answered questions that I had and did a pretty good job cleaning up. A few small items were left behind but nothing that would take away from my satisfaction.

Denny worked with our insurance company to get the claim filed, once we got approval from the insurance company he scheduled dates for the work. The work was done very professionally and very quickly, his working team showed up on time, did the work, cleaned up and were very professional. All work quality was excellent. The Tru Restoration team was very helpful throughout the process and answered all out questions. making sure we were comfortable with everything being done. My wife and I would like to thank Denny, Kris and their team for all the great work and customer service.

Excellent job. We are so blessed to have seen Tru Restoration in another neighborhood and contacted Denny Barrish to check our roof for any possible hail damage. Denny promptly came to our home and thoroughly went over our roof and trim. He was so efficient in his examination that left no doubt that we had extensive hail damage. He worked closely with our Insurance Adjustor. Within a short time, our Insurance Company authorized our claim and we hired Tru Restoration to complete the work. Denny and his Team worked closely with us to set up our appointments. We were so thankful that not only do they do the roofing, but also the fascia and gutter damage. We will and have already recommended Tru Restoration to our neighbors and friends. We definitely will call upon them again for any future work that we need done on our home.
