Crew was on time and did a good job. A couple of days later we found a couple of spots that did not apply correctly. B&C team returned and took care of the problem. Have recommended them to another family

Contractor was able to locate a floor board piece which matched the current floor stain wonderfully allowing the floor to be repaired quickly. Although the piece was replaced win a slight gap, contractor returned within the hour and fixed the problem with another board. Although this was a small job, I would use them again for even bigger jobs.

Excellent. He took the time not only to give us a quote but found the reason for the water damage in one location (downspout directed wrong) and fixed it for us at no charge. Once contracted, they showed up on time, then cleaned up after. The result is better than expected. You would never know there had been any damage. I am an engineer and have been disappointed on more that one occasion with contracted services. In fact, the water damage in one location was due to improper installation of windows. I was very pleased at both the quality of the work and the value (the cost was much less than expected). Definitely recommend this company.

Andrew Robertson, the owner, was very punctual for the estimate (even though he had to drive 40 miles). He gave me a quote. He gave me the maximum Angies List discount. It took 2 days to complete the job and floor looks beautiful. It had carpet, so even though my daughter and I removed the carpet, I still had hundreds of nails and staples. They removed the staples and nails also.

Very professional and honest, has a great deal of knowledge as to hardwood floors.

My home is less than 3 years old and needed a small repair. Wanted to discuss a polish on it as well. Instead of talking me into something I did not need he volunteered that I could go to lowes, pick up few products and do the job myself for huge savings. WOW that does not happen often! I will not hesitate to call him when I need a job done or recommend him to a friend.

I was gone on a trip when this work was performed. Upon my return, my floors were beautiful. I was given a name of a company to move all of my belongings into the garage. Wonderful guys. The worst part was the packing and unpacking. The best part: Having brand new looking hardwoods that are 52 years old.

They did a great job. The floors look great. However they were late coming to our home to get started. No phone calls to follow up. On the second day, they stated they would start at 9:00, no show till 9:45. We had to call them.

We received two quotes: One for a complete refinishing of the floor and a second for the "buff and coat" treatmen which was half of the cost of refinishing. We had to wait several months to do the job but when we called them, they were able to accommodate us very quickly. To prepare for the work, my wife and I removed all of the furniture in areas with hardwoods. They arrived with two guys that really knew their stuff....they even helped me with squeeks in my floor. There was NO dust during the process.....very neat and clean. The floor is absolutely beautiful. There were some small areas that we found after the floor dryer that they promptly came back and touched up. I HIGHLY recommend Andrew and his company.

The overall experience is very good and I plan on using them again.

There was a bit of a mix-up in our initial appointment to have an estimate performed but we connected on the second attempt. Andrew was friendly and addressed all of our questions and concerns about the process. We were a little hesitant to just go with the buff and coat service which is not a full refinishing of the hardwoods but rather the removal of the top layer or two of existing polyurethane and reapplying two new coats. Andrew assured us that our floors were a good candidate for the buff and coat process as we had very little damage to the actual floorboards, just wear and tear on the existing polyurethane finish. The work crew arrived on time and completed the job in about a half day. Floors turned out very well - I wouldn't call them "like new" but that's not what was promised either - Andrew does a great job of setting the right expectation. Using this service instead of a full sand down and refinishing probably saved us close to $2K, overall very satisfied with the results.

We hired Buff and Coat to refinish our Hardwood floors in the downstairs of our home. We recently purchased the home that we had them service and the home had been unoccupied from a long period of time. Therefore, the hardwood floors were in poor shape due to the number contractors that had worked on the home and overall lack of maintenance/cleaning. We had several companies provide estimates and found that Buff and Coat had the best price to refinish the floors and provide 2 coats of their refinish. We also found that the lead service person Andrew was very professional during the process. To start, Andrew was extremely flexible and did a wonderful job explaining the process and also helped provide tips as we determined the finish of our floors. For instance, we had a delay with closing and with painters finishing their work and Andrew was able to reschedule several jobs to accommodate completing our job. Once the crew finished refinishing our floors, it was amazing how the floors looked brand new. The floors really set the tone for the entire downstairs and we were extremely satisfied with the outcome of the floors for the price. I would definitely recommend Buff & Coat for floor refinishing services in the future. You will definitely be happy with the service.

Our six-year-old hardwood floor was showing heavy scuffing and other surface imperfections in the coating. We had applied a commercial coating product that looked good at first, but became unattractive after continued use. The coating showed many scuff marks that couldn't be removed. Over-coating covered the scuffs, but led to an unsightly build up that seemed to scuff more easily.We actually considered replacing the flooring.Fortunately, we contacted Andrew Robertson of Buff & Coat. At first, he was concerned that the coating we had applied would be difficult and costly to remove. He worked with us to find an economical way to remove the product. Once that coating had been removed, his crews lightly sanded the hardwood and applied two coats of polyurethane. The entire process was done in less than a day. Our hardwood floor looks like new again. The polyurethane coating is durable and cleans easily with plain water.

Furniture was moved before work began and the Friday the crew came back to the house after 4pm to move the furniture back.

They refinished my hardwood floor and sort of sanded it and put a hard coating on. They were in-expensive and for the money I paid, they made my floor look a hundred percent better. I rate them highly and I would use them again in the future if needed.

The experience overall was just great. I’ve been very, very impressed with them. The technicians were right on time and completed the work beautifully. It was a tough job and they were excellent. I’d recommend them highly.

Problem is that the coating peeled off when putting down paper and tape to protect floor from worker traffic. That's right, the paper tape pulled off the finish.
