Penny Window

This is the second time we have used Penny Window and it was just as good as the last time. They came out and gave an estimate of the custom windows and I hired them on the spot. They stated it would take 2 weeks to get in which they did. I scheduled for a weekend appointment and the installers showed up on time and were very professional. The installation didn't take very long and the finished product was great. I would highly recommend.

I was very pleased with the two installers. They were prompt, polite, and professional. The workmanship appears excellent. They matched the siding and exterior paint perfectly.

I called the business and asked about getting several windows replaced as part of an insurance claim. When I said that some windows would only need screens, I was told the company will not replace screens without replacing the entire window. The information was delivered rather rudely.

Asked for an estimate. He was my third bid. He told me he'd have it to me next week and never followed-up.

Workers were courtsey - arrived on time as stated - Completion of work done in a timely manner - I would recommended them for window replacement.

It went very well. The installers did a good job and worked hard. There were two windows which were the incorrect size and Penny Window quickly ordered the correct windows and had them installed within a couple of weeks. The installers cleaned everything up well and it were easy to have working in my house. The windows are a good quality - I did a lot of research! And after having 50+ year old windows which couldn't open and weren't easy to clean this is great!

Their employees are always very nice. They are always very courteous and easy to work with. Everything has always been good.

Chuck from Penny Windows came out right away to give us a bid. Once we were ready to accept the bid, I had difficulties reaching him again because he is so busy. However, the work they did was outstanding. They were the cheapest bid and did an excellent job on the windows and clean up. I would definitely hire them again.

It was excellent. They looked at a lever on one of our windows and fixed it. They did not charge us for it. I would use them again.

It was quick and they look like there have been there forever. You would never know they were not original.

It was good. I got what they said I was going to get when they said I was going to get it at the price they said I was going to get it so overall I would say good. I had a good experience, they delivered what they said they would deliver when they said they would deliver in the price they said they were going to deliver so it met my expectations. It was a retail purchase point of sale.

They gave us a price and date to be ready, and were pretty accurate on that,and we were satisfied with their servuce.

Cost was exactly as estimated. Window replacement was flawless, but I expected as much. However, I felt they really went above and beyond with the craftsmanship and attention to detail when installing the new door. The transition to our deck looks much nicer than it did previously and was well above expectations. The only slight knock on the whole process was a slight scheduling mis-communication. They did apologize and still got the work completed in the time frame originally stated. Everything was very professional and I would definitely use Penny Window again.

Estimate was reasonable so we ordered the windows. Took about 4 weeks from order date till install. The installers arrived before 8:30 a.m., got right to work and were finished by 1:00 p.m. They did great job and cleaned up area when finished. We were very pleased with the whole experience.

The company came out to measure the door. They told me the glass had to ordered stating how long it would take to fill the order. When the glass was ready they called to set an installation appointment . The repairman was on time. The glass was replaced in 30 minutes that's including clean up. I'm very ahppy with the work done by Penny Glass.

There was a bit of a miscommunication between the estimator and the men who performed the work. It ended up taking twice as long as estimated and they had to miss the job after us. However, they still did a great job and I love the windows. He even pointed out a small crack (I might not have noticed it myself) in the plastic of one of the windows (it had come that way from the manufacturer), and let us know he'd be back once they had ordered a new one and would switch it out. They were back 3 weeks later (it was a special order) and swapped it out in 5 minutes. My only gripe was that they left a bit of a mess on the roof outside our window (it was very difficult to get the existing windows out). In their defense, however, there was snow on the roof and it was probably near impossible to see it/clean it until the snow had melted away. When he returned to swap out the window he was happy to clean it up.

It's two weeks later and I've heard nothing back from them. They originally told be it'd be two weeks after the estimate to get the windows in, but after calling them myself they are now saying it's going to be SIX weeks before the can come out and do the work. Plus, the $1000 charge for labor is way too much.
