Description of Work: They did nothing. I originally scheduled the gutter cleaning in November. They cancelled due to cold weather. I scheduled again in the Spring, and they did a no-show. I have tried to contact to schedule on several locations, and either been asked to wait, or not received a response. I would like my money back - this was a rip off!

Description of Work: Michael's painting was fine, but he struck me as someone who needed help running a business. It was difficult to get in touch with him. It was difficult to schedule the time to get him to our home. I asked about power washing before painting, which he did, but I don't think any cleaning agent was used. That being said, he was perfectly nice and the painting was fine. For those reasons and the fact that I like to give someone a chance, I would use him again.

Description of Work: Cleaned gutters. While on roof noticed loose bricks and mortar on chimney. Gave me estimate to repair and came the next day to do the work.

Description of Work: Deal was $69 for whole house gutter cleaning. I purchased the deal in November and Michael's did not complete the work until March. Charged my husband an additional $30 because they had to use a ladder. They had emailed a couple weeks prior that they had come out with intention of doing the work but couldn't because they did not have a big enough ladder and they would have to charge more. I had already emailed Michaels that I did not intend to pay extra as deal did not have exceptions. Also, they used my hose connection and it is now leaking. My basement was full of water. They did not let anyone know they were at the house and /or doing the work. The next day they returned to get extra money and after they left my husband found all the water in the basement from the broken hose line. I cannot say they broke the line but I can say it was working fine a week earlier. No, I would not use them again. I cannot see into the spouting to even see if the work was done correctly so I gave a "C" on the work.

Description of Work: Michael and another man installed a downspout and allegedly cleaned the gutters. They came by the house first before going to Home Depot to get supplies. They both claimed they were up on roof and cleaned the gutters, however I was working in my office on the 3rd floor and never heard anyone walking on roof. When I asked them about this, he insisted he had done so. I saw no leaf litter surrounding house or in their vehicle. It wasn't until that evening when I was out on the second floor balcony that I saw several small twigs sticking up over gutter line. A couple days later I noted that the caulk they used was the wrong type. The downspout is brown to match the house, yet the dried caulk was white. Before he left, I noticed the color and asked him about this. He said it should dry clear in a day or two. We also had rain, and the downspout leaked at the roof and the caulked seams. He returned to "color" the caulk brown, but ultimately never did fix the leaks which are even worse now. Downspout gushes at roof and seams in heavy rain and leaks onto side of house and spits onto the sidewalk in light rain. We contacted him again, but he refuses to come back. This spring we'll have to start over and either replace or repair the shoddy work he performed.

Description of Work: I purchased The Big Deal $69 Complete Home Gutter Cleaning in November 2013. Due to a harsh winter the work was not completed before March 18, 2014. During the winter I was kept informed about the status in a timely manner and I do not blame the service provider for the delay. I appreciate that the provider came as soon as the weather got better and offered to perform the service. As soon as the serviceman saw that I had removable gutter screens he said that there should be an extra charge for cleanup as per a statement in the original offer. I told him that was not correct and my recheck of it confirmed that fact. Than the serviceman and his companion cleaned up with a steel brush the cypress tree needles stuck in the covers without removing the latter. No attempt was made to wash off residue from under the screens where present. They forgot to remove the needles from a gutter on small roof above the screened-in porch. It took two reminders for that to be completed. A serviceman made an attempt to perform a partial cleanup of the debris on the ground removed from the gutter screens by using improvised means since his broom was broken. I was told that there would be an extra charge for the gutter cleanup in the future due to the presence of screens.
