I received my coupon, made the call and scheduled an appointment. They arrived at the scheduled time- ready to work. It was completed and I was pleased! This was my first time using "big Deals". I'm forever hooked.
Description of Work: Gutter Cleaning. Mike (owner) and crew were friendly and fast. Very pleased.

+ -1 moreI called this company after buy an Angie's List coupon. I left a message with Mr. Hulsey, he emailed me back a bout a week later, just listing his phone number. I concluded that meant I was supposed to call him. I did. We set a time for him to come. He said I did not need to be there. He did not ask me much about the house, for example, if it was more than 1 story, or if I had animals. I told him the problem I was having. I don't know if he came or not, because I was at work. No note, or receipt was left, or message on my phone. I won't know until it rains hard if he cleaned the gutters and downspouts or not. I have no way to check the work. If I had to do it again, I would schedule it when I was going to be home.
Description of Work: The company was supposed to clean my gutters and downspouts. I have a 2+story house.

NO RESPONSE On Monday, I emailed to ask what was up and presumably to reschedule. No word. STILL NO RESPONSE On Wednesday, I emailed again. No word.

+ -1 moresince like i said, his asistant was great. Michael stood around and watched. He called and said he would be here the next day, but showed up unannounced a week later.
Description of Work: his assistant did all the cleaning. Cleaned out front of garage gutters, back already were clean. Cleaned back gutters on two story house but it doesn't seen like he fullly cleaned all of the second story front gutters.since they overflow on part of the gutter.

+ 0 moreThe work was performed very well and, since there was a bit of time left after they finished the first three things on my list, they asked for an additional project. The two men who came were very nice and efficient. The only (minor) complaint I have is that one of them used our guest bathroom and left a bit of a mess around the base of the toilet that I needed to clean up.
Description of Work: The handymen mounted a gate in the hallway to our bedrooms, hung a ceiling fan in our office, replaced the weatherstripping around our back door and painted the door frame.

+ -1 moreMichael was unable to do the work at the originally agreed upon time, but did call to let me know. He rescheduled and missed the second date, but showed up a couple days later to do the work. Since he did not need me home to do the work, the scheduling delays were not a problem. He and his helper were always courteous.

They were finished within 15 minutes and said the gutters were already clean with the exception of a few twigs that they removed. I asked if they typically check the downspout by running water in the gutter via a hose and was informed this was not part of their service. When I explained that the gutters overflow during heavy rain and I was concerned about the downspout and drainage, Michael seemed to brush it off and the downspouts were not tested.

+ 0 moreI bought the Angie's List deal for gutter cleaning. Michael was delayed, so I was not able to be here when the gutters were cleaned, but flow from downspouts seems good. I did have him back to repair a leak - that turned out to be a clogged and decayed downspout. I was difficult because it is very high (3 stories - at that location). Michael and his assistant worked to unclog and eventually replace the section of downspout. Everything is better now. I think the services were priced well and seem well done. Michael seemed nice, but I would feel better if things were conducted with more professionalism and was closer to scheduled times.

Description of Work: 2-man,4 hour handyman for $149.00 ...... I wanted front door lock changed ,dead bolt installed.1 ceiling tile replaced in lower level drop ceiling and vent flashing replace on roof. The ceiling tile was cut out around the ceiling fan leaving a two inch opening in between fan and tile. Mike said in order to replace the flashing he would have to take off all the roof shingles from top of roof to vent ( about 9.5ft, )and could not guarantee roof from leaking so he slipped a new vent over old vent, I've since had this fixed correctly.(took abouy 20 min. and did not have to remove any shingles ) Michael said he did not have proper tools to install dead bolt ,he would have to come back the following week. After three different appointments in which he never showed up or call to reschedule.I finally reached Mike where he agreed to give me some of the payment back. I would not recommend"MICHEAL'S WORK" ....

+ -1 moreThe baseboard work was fairly precise, but it was uneven. It was the same with the doors. We did some touch up work to make everything look better. However, the men were nice and courteous. The good news is that all we had to do was touch up instead of having to paint everything ourselves.

+ -1 moreAttempted to contact Michael to schedule work via email on 5/18 . Emailed him again when he did not respond. He responded and we agreed on June 11. He did not show up or contact me to say that he wasn't coming. When I emailed him he attempted to reschedule on the 18th and I already received a refund from Angies List. I understand he is offering a discount on his services, however not contacting people within a reasonable time frame and not showing up for a scheduled service is very unprofessional. I felt by purchasing this coupons I wasn't as important as someone willing to pay full price.

+ -1 moreAfter playing phone tag, they didn't show up when they said they would. I played phone tag again with the owner and he eventually didn't return my call. I had to call Angie's list, who contacted the company. After this, Michael contacted me promptly, came out to my house, and performed the work. He just seemed like he had too many jobs going on and lost track of who I was. Frustrating, since I bought an Angie's List Deal and payed up front. If they had showed up the first time or at least called to cancel and then rescheduled, I would give them a higher rating. But this isn't a good way to run a business. The service was average, some of my gutter guards were not re-attached correctly.

Description of Work: The gent actually cleaning the gutters seemed reliable. The one on the ground felt shifty ... asking for more money, not responding to REPEATED phone calls to make appointment to clean the gutters once the coupons were purchased. Very unprofessional and unreliable company.

+ 1 moreI called them back out to repair a lock on one of my windows originally. But when they arrived I asked them since they had the truck could they take away some of my junk. Old wood,carpets and stuff. I did not think that they would be able to work with short notice. They said they were booked all week but they could fit me in somewhere. It took me by surprise. But they did. These guys are dedicated,hard working young men. They came out and cleaned all that trash out of here. Im glad they did because I did not want the city getting on me about that.
Description of Work: They hauled away some wood and old carpets and junk I needed to get rid of. And they also repaired a lock on one of my windows in the basement.
