Terrible experience. Frustrating trying to deal with a contractor who can't keep promised appointments, take phone calls or return messages.

Great I did not ever "see" a person

They showed up a day late, however they did call and informed me. They charged more because they said I had gutter covers. They must have been very quick because I wasn't able to be there but the neighbors said they saw no one do any work. I saw no water run off at the downspots showing any debris.

Mr. Hulsey's and his crew arrived promptly as scheduled, and in fact the crew was at work on my gutters even before I realized they had arrived. They performed there work quickly, and were most thorough in the performance of their work. Upon completion of the gutter inspection and cleaning, Mr. Hulsey informed me that they also did other types of work beyond the scope of just gutter inspections and gutter cleaning. Fortunately for me, I later found out that I had a need for someone to install a unique fencing system around a portion of my backyard. Not knowing immediately who to call right off the top of my head, I remembered Mr. Hulsey's words, and so I emailed him with a brief description of the way I wanted the fence installed to see if he would be interested in working on such a project. My email included my phone number. If I remember correctly it was this past Sunday that I composed and fired off my email to him. He responded the same day, and agreed to handle the work. He will be at my house this week to get a better understanding of exactly what I want. I'm definitely on a roll. I will definitely provide a review of this upcoming fencing project.

He was easy to work with, and did a good job. I asked him to do extra work, which I paid additionally for.

It went wonderful as always. I called Michael early in the morning on 4/9/2013 and explained the trouble that I had with my door on my shed. He told me that he would come by and be fair with me. He did come by indeed and got me taken care of. He is a man of his word. As always they do a great job.

Service was satisfactory. He showed up on time did his job in a timely manner.

Michael told me he would be out to the house about 11 after his first job got done which I told him was fine. About 12:30 Michael called and told me he was just around the corner and he would be over soon, the first job took a little longer than expected. At 1:30 when I was getting ready to leave for an appointment, Michael finally got there. I explained my hesitation at having him do the work after reading through more of the reviews on Angie's list but that i was going to give him a chance. I asked him to make sure he did a good job and he told me he would take care of it. I also let him know that I had another company coming out the next day (today) to power wash the house and clean the windows (I was trying to politely let him know I would be double checking his work). Apparently he didn't make the connection because I had the other company get up on the roof and double check the work and give me photos. The only think Michael did was clean around the immediate area of the downspouts, but there were still leaves and things in the down spouts. The rest of the gutters are filled with about an inch of the thick black sand that runs off the shingles. One of the guys grabbed a big old handful out of the gutter while up on the ladder and showed me. I wish there was a way to post photos of the lack of work here. So to sum it up, Michael charged me 75 bucks, showed up late, didn't clean the gutters and left. I will be asking Angie's list for a refund and filing a complaint with the BBB. Hopefully Angie's list has a way of tagging these people so that they can't run specials and try to con more people into forking money over for nothing. Added 4/15/13 I see that he responded to my reviews with the normal platitudes I saw on his previous responses. I will be happy to speak directly to anyone that is on the fence about this contractor and send you the pictures of the gutters AFTER he serviced them. I've already gotten my money back so it would be no skin off my back to ignore him. I want to make sure no one else wastes their time with this supposed company. lcampbellmo@gmail.com

I spoke to Michael to schedule the work for 9 am on a Thursday. As of 11 am, no one has showed up or called to inform me they would be late.

The transaction went well. The company was quick to respond and schedule the service. There was a little confusion however. To me, it appears one crew came out on the day promised and then a couple days later, another crew came out. The gutters were nice and clean. The surrounding areas were clean too.

Michael's work are very professional, courteous, and follow-through as promised.

Michael called us the day after we made the purchase to schedule the work. That was a plus. I paid for two painters for 8 hours. They were late getting here. But they made up for it by staying late. But if I had had somewhere to go, I would have been annoyed. Michael spent a lot of time on the phone. But I assume he is the owner and secretary of the business, so that is to be expected somewhat. Overall, I am pleased with the work that was done.

Michael and his crew were able to drop everything and come right over the very next day. They completed all of the work in only 48 hours and I was able to call the inspector back over for a reinspection of the property. The inspection passed and the inspector couldn't believe the work had already been completed. I've got my certificate of completion and the house sale is closing this week. Thanks a ton, Michael's Work!!!!!!!!!!! You'll be hearing from me again very soon. These guys are the real deal!!!!

Mike's team was dedicated and hard working. Unfortunately, some of the work, such as installing a cieling fan, had to be re-worked.

The men were polite, hardworking, and cleaned up thoroughly.

I called Michael's Work Saturday Feb 23rd. and they showed up the next day Feb 24th and completed the above job. Michael is always punctual and makes sure I am happy with the completed job.

It went well as I figured it would. The guys got here and then went and picked up the materials needed. They only charged me twenty dollars to pick up materials needed. That was really nice of them. They did not have to dothat for as cheap as that was for picking up the merchandise. They got back and installed two prehung doors . Caulked and painted as I desired. Great job.

I think the reason for the $20 more was because they said the downspout had a clog in it and I guess that didn't cover that. The only thing that I did have a problem is that we have originally set up a date for him to come and he never showed up so I had to call him again. I told them I was wanting to wash my windows and I didn't want to wash the windows until I got the gutters cleaned so he did make a point of coming out on a Saturday so that was good. But, I was a little bit disappointed up that he didn't show up when he originally said he would.

Michael is stunningly overbooked. Nice man but, IMO, needs to slow down a bit to deliver what he is capable of delivering.

My experience was great! I called Michael, informed him of the work I needed to have done and he booked the appointment. Michael and his two handymen came over and knocked out all of the work in 4 hours. I feel very relieved to have my basement organized and put together now. Thanks Michael! I'll be calling you in the near future for more projects!!!

It went well. The man came out to give me another bid on my ceramic floors to be pulled up and new flooring to go down. The young man came out and gave me a nice fair bid. I really appreciated that very much. I will have him back out to do the work soon. I thought that we could afford to get some of this stuff done around here by now. But not just yet. But we will use his services for sure real as soon once again when we are ready.

I used their services last in November. They did a really good job. It was a follow up. I bought the big deal, but then I never gave them a call because I was out of town. So they called me and set up some time, and showed up and did a good job. The clean up afterwards was good, he did a good job. Other than this, they do a lot of other work as well.

We purchased the Angie's List Big Deal that featured this company. When I first bought the coupon, I had a phone call right away but did not have the supplies in I needed for some repairs so told the caller I'd get back to him. He called several times looking for work but my husband had not gotten around to getting what we needed (for a simple door trim repair). After the supplies were in, we set up a date with Michael to come by. I even put it on our calendar. He called 48 hours prior to confirm the appointment and my husband took time off to be here. He never showed up, no call, no nothing. At that point, I went on Angie's List to read the reviews and found that he had done this with numerous other customers who had then posted negative reviews. It appeared that he then would post a rebuttal such as "sorry it didn't work out". Seeing a track record of no-shows, I contacted Angie's List for a refund on the Big Deal (which they graciously gave me without a problem). He called back about a week later to explain that something had come up and wanting to set up another appointment. This is no way to do business. In my opinion, yes, sometimes life throws us a curve ball, but it is highly unprofessional not to call and explain this prior to the time you are scheduled to show up.

I called Michael to come out and give me a bid. Because I will be wanting to get it painted really soon. I wanted to see what it was looking like as far as how much it might cost me. I will be having him do it real soon. I called him and he came to my need and told me what it would cost. He came over pretty fast as I figured he would, being the hard working determined young man he is. I thank Mr. Mike for coming out.
