Excellent work. Cleaned up afterwards. Noissues with the work.

I called Michael on Friday, May 31st in the Morning to get an estimate for expanding a patio door opening and he promised to call me back in 30 minutes. When I still hadn't heard back from him by late afternoon I called him back and we arranged for him to come by the next day at 12:00 to look the job over and give me an estimate. He didn't show up the next day and never called me to cancel or explain why he wasn't coming. Very unprofessional!!

I had no problem with Michael's Work. The work went well and they did what they said they were gonna do. I only spent the amount I paid for the coupon.

It went wonderful. Mr. Mike came out and gave me a bid on texturing my ceiling in the basement. It was a fair bid. He will be getting the job as soon as my money gets right. I thank him and I thank Angie's List.

Rescheduled many times (4) and was not responsive to calls -weather was supposedly an issue but no excuse for not answering the phone or returning calls.

As mentioned in the comment above I cancelled and got refund from Angie's list.

It went well. They scheduled service within a few days, arrived on time (a little early), completed work within a reasonable period of time. There was some extra cost due to height of building, which was stated on Michael's information beforehand.

Mike came in and looked around the house and gave a good estimate on the work we requested to have done to the house. We scheduled a day to start and because he became open sooner he called and informed us that he can come a day early. To start off, if he said that they were going to be at the house a certain time to start work the previous day it was always 30 or more later. That didn't bother me as much since I was planning to be at the house anyways. There were definitely some bumps during the work. Trim wasn't cut correctly, the right paint color wasn't on the right wall, and the walls were not smoothed out as it should have been. The trim was corrected as well as the paint color was changed to the correct color. They also mudded areas we didn't know about which was good but the areas that stood out to us the most didn't get fixed right away until we mentioned it on the last day. I didn't like the fact that they were working on all the rooms at the same time, meaning not one area was completely finished before they started on the next room, which drove me crazy because every room in the house was a mess all at the same time. To sum up the finish product, they are not good at making clean cut lines in the ceiling and trim which I had to go back after they finished and repaint the tops of trim and doors. They did fix most of the cut lines in the ceiling but then the paint also doesn't go up to the ceiling, rather just below it (I guess it's better than having the paint on the ceiling). There are areas on the wall where you can still see the primer underneath. There are also spots where they mudded and didn't sand out the area before they painted or smooth out bump on the wall before they painted over it whether it was there before or they did it themselves. There are also drip marks in many areas and areas where they glopped the paint on the wall. As for the mess, they were suppose to use the outside hose to clean their brushes. But got lazy and used our sinks and tubs and I ended up scrubbing everything to get the paint off, which the tub is textured with a non slip so I cannot get the paint off unless I actually scrub with a brush. My car was also parked outside of the garage because they mudded the garage and got paint on my car which I will also have to take the time out to pick the paint off the car. That wasn't the only areas they got paint. My leather sofa and chairs downstairs had paint on them as well as the entertainment center and coffee table. The duvet cover in our master bedroom has a streak of paint on the bottom as well as all the furniture peices in every bedroom had paint on them. Yes, it wasn't too hard to get the paint off of almost everything except the fabric and an area on the carpet where someone dropped a roller (The carpet cleaners that came the next day couldn't even get it out) but that isn't something that I should have to worry about if you were professional painters. So all in all, a C over all was being very generous and that's only because you came and fixed 75% of the mistakes already made and because you gave a good price (but now I can see the quality for the price I paid for). The more I cleaned up my house the more I regretted hiring Michael's Work. I think the people who reviewed this company previously that were stood up were the lucky ones.

It went well as always. When I can spare more money for other projects I will call Michaels Work back. These guys are the company to call. Great service.

I was not happy because I was not home. They came out the same day I bought it which was nice they they were so responsive but I was not home so I can not really check the roof work. I don't know what they did. I knew they were there because they called me not because I could tell. I would have preferred an appointment so I could have been there.

The crew came when I wasn't home, but no big deal and we had agreed that was ok. They cleared out all standing water and inspected all the gutters and did a good job. I have had some heavy rain, but there doesn't appear to be anything clogged up anymore.

I was not really very happy with them. I had to leave them to do it by themselves without supervision. They did not do a good job and missed two gutters entirely. Then he told me I had more gutters then what the deal had and my house fit within the guidelines. They rushed through it and the gutters they did clean, they did not clean well and did not flush it. They then told me they charged extra for gutter guards and there was nothing in the deal about that. The deal did show that the garage was an extra $35 and I agreed to pay for that. The debris from the gutter they tossed everywhere and did not clean that up. They came by very quickly.

He was helpful and professional and completed work as promised.

I bought an Angie's List deal on Friday and he was over on Monday and early. He went above and beyond what was bought and took care of a problem I'd been wanting done for a long time.

It was done when it was suppose to be and the work was satisfactory. The service was excellent.

Owner was very personable, stayed in touch with me. Both the guys who showed up were nice and helpful

We set an appointment to clean my gutters and set up my Christmas lights. They did not show up on the scheduled appointment. I called several times and finally got in touch with the guy and he said he had it on his schedule for the next week. I took another day off. He didn’t show and when I called, he said the same thing that he had it down for next week. I just asked for my money back, however I have not yet received it. He emailed me later that he was trying to reach me about an appointment, and I reiterated that I wasn’t interested in working with him and wanted a refund.

I purchased the deal on a Saturday night and was planning on calling to schedule the work on Monday. Michael contacted me on Sunday and said they could do the work on Monday. They were later coming than we were originally told, but called to let me know they were running behind, which we appreciated. We had a clogged gutter on the back side of the house and they got it cleaned out and running free very quickly. They did not play around arrived got the work done and left within a half hour.

Mike came on time. I gave a to-do list for 8 man-hours of service to get done in priority. Charles and Joe were great at household troubleshooting and even explained to me how to get some simple things done that did not fit in the 8 hours I bought (i.e., what was wrong with a stuck door and what the easy fix was, even what grade sandpaper to use). The guys were professional and courteous.

Michael's Work cleaned the gutters out, really clean. They picked up all their price. They're very nice. He was about 30 minutes late, though, and he didn't call to tell me he was going to be late.

Same as above--not a complicated job. They were there, tops, 20 minutes.

I called Mike to check his availability, since we were in a bit of a rush. He was able to work us in the next day, and even spent more time than we had originally planned. We gave him a prioritized task list, and he was able to get through some of our most critical parts. His work was good, and he was great at talking with us about what he could do for each part. Pleasant to work with, and great with communication. We were pleased with the quality of the work overall.

Went great arrived when he said he would, did the work quickly. Advised of some issues on roof and chimney , very helpful
