Description of Work: George is great. He could hear over the phone that my washer's bearings were going out. Too expensive to fix so I went looking for a new one before it completely quit.

Description of Work: George fixed my refrigerator which had stopped completely. I had a houseful of family and friends in from out of town. George came at 7:30 am the day after I called. I think he added an extra appointment to the day in order to accommodate me. He came with the correct parts to do the job based on my description of the problem. He is a no nonsense repairman. He gets right to work and wastes no time getting the job done.

Description of Work: Mr. Behrens has done repairs for me before and is very good. I have a Kitchen Aid dishwasher that keeps clogging with debris and the sprayers don't work to clean the top racks. Apparently, I have a knack for buying the wrong appliances. The repair worked for about 24 - 48 hours but now, despite my fastidiousness regarding completely cleaning my dishes before putting them in the dishwasher (what is the point?), the same thing is occurring again and debris is clogging the sprayers. I don't know if all of the debris was not cleaned out completely or what but I feel the repair was costly and incomplete. I will call him back but don't feel I should incur another charge.

Description of Work: He was on time. He found what was wrong, fixed it, accepted payment and left. |It went fine.

Description of Work: George is always punctual in fact, he was early! Our dishwasher broke when it was -10F outside and he still was able to come in snow! He fixed the problem in 30 minutes and had all the parts on his truck. We haven't had a problem since. And he cleaned up! Excellent.

Description of Work: He did not come to our appt. I called him at noon . Mr. Behrens was to be here between 10:00-12:00. He said I was scheduled for a date that was not correct. I had not even called to request his service yet on the date he stated. I asked if he could help me and he said he was unavailable today. I consider this poor service.

Description of Work: My clothes dryer wasn't heating. He diagnosed what the problem was quickly and replaced something electronic. Not a fix I could have made on my own. He arrived early in the 2 hour time frame, which was great. He also replaced the switch on the door. Great job and will use him again.!

Description of Work: My refrigerator was not staying cold. Mr. Behrens looked at it and said that the problems was that the door had shifted and the interior light was staying on all the time heating up the refrigerator. He suggested two solutions: fix the door which would cost some money or unscrew the light. I decided to unscrew the light. Problem solved!

Description of Work: I was having trouble with my kitchenaid dishwasher and an immediate diagnosis was made and it was repaired to my satisfaction. I also had a washing machine that was making a loud noise and the repair person told me it was the bearings and not worth fixing. I appreciated the fast and excellent service.

Description of Work: GEORGE PERFORMED SERVICE CALLS ON VARIOUS A[PPLIANCES: INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MICROWAVES, DISHWASHERS AND REFRIGERATORS IN RENTAL PROPERTY. THESE WERE ALL DONE IN A TIMELY MANNER AT A REASONABLE COST. HE CAME TO OUR HOME TO REPAIR OUR 3-4 YEAR OLD FROM LOADING WASHING MACHINE, (PART OF A STACKABLE SET). HE DID NOT FIX THE MACHINE. HE MADE VARIOUS WIRING SHORT CUTS TO GET THE MACHINE TO WORK. AFTER 2 OR 3 CALLS, HE REFUSED TO RETURN TO FIX OUR WASHER, SAYING HE HAD SPENT SO MUCH TIME ON THE JOB HE WOULD NEVER MAKE A PROFIT. I CALLED SEARS APPLIANCE SERVICE. THE SEARS TECHNICIAN TOOK A LOOK AT THE WIRING STUFF GEORGE HAD DONE. THE SEARS GUY SAID OUR WASHER WAS BEYOND REPAIR. WE ORDERED A NEW STACKABLE WASHER DRYER. THE WASHER WAS JUNKED WE SOLD THE DRYER FOR $200. RECENTLY I CALLED GEORGE TO GET A MODEST POLICY ADJUSTMENT. I WANT HIM TO GIVE ME 2 OR 3 HOURS OF FREE LABOR (I WOULD PAY FOR PARTS & FREON). HE REFUSED.

Description of Work: I have used Mr. Behrens previously. He is prompt (came the same day) and quick at his work. He fixed our freezer that was dripping into our refrigerator and replaced a switch on our washer that wasn't working properly. He was in and out in 30 minutes.

Description of Work: Based on the information provided to A Behrens, he informed me that my refrigerator was known among repairman to have the problems I described. He indicated that he would gladly come out and make the repair, but suggested that I contact the brand name company and really push for them to stand behind their product since I wasn't the first or only person who had problems. I followed his advised. And they agreed to perform the repair free, after charging for the visit. As a result of his advice, I now have a working refrigerator that works better than when I bought it. I was very pleased. He told me that he could come out and repair it, but instead of charging me for a repair, he gave me some advice that saved me money. If I ever have an appliance that needs repairing in the future, I would use his services first. Honesty is very important. Placing my needs before making money was a very effective selling tool.
