B & H Heating & Cooling

Work did not start as scheduled but was delayed. Once started it seemed to go fairly quickly. owner was never on site. We had an upcharge for electrical for the AC that was overlooked in their bid. They charged an additional $500 for this oversight. supervisor and two crew members completed the work. After completion supervisor had to be called back to connect duct work that was never connected to living room vents. After a week or so it became apparent something was not right as the AC unit would run without shutting off for days and barely maintained temp. Again supervisor was called out. He looked around and ended up adding a little freon but didn't measure how low it was. He then left. This did not seem to help the problem at all. We ended up calling a different company at this point for evaluation. They came out, took one look at everything and told us that none of our seams were sealed and because the house is on a crawl space/unfinished garage the system had been sucking dirt in from these open spaces and into our home. None of our duct work was insulated even though this is standard. Part of our condensation unit was never even hooked up, and the line obviously had leaks as the new guy added almost 3lbs (?) of antifreeze when it had just been topped off the week before. Again we called B&H, this time with a lot of questions and a bill. The owner acted apologetic even came out and looked things over. Stated that it was not done correctly and then instructed supervisor (who had ridden along) to make corrections. He looked around a little bit more and then drove off without saying goodbye or giving us a time frame for corrections. a few days later the supervisor came back and proceeded to insulate and seal seams. Owner although called repeatedly after this never did return calls or offer to cover expense of having another company tell us what he should have done to begin with. Horrible experience and we still feel completely unsettled with their "finished product" and plan to have it evaluated again shortly since they have completed.

This company also does the work on our churches heating and cooling units. They do what they say and usually a little more at the price they quoted. As a matter of fact it was about 5 months after they gave me my bid that In had the money to have the work done.

When I called they said they could come out the next day.  The repairman showed up on time and ready to work.  As it turned out the problem was just a clogged up filter so it was and easy fix.  Because they were so nice and prompt I would certainly call them again if we need any HVAC work done.

.They said it was a specialized part and that they didn't have it and wouldn't be able to get it until the following week. Come to find it it wasn't a special part my son went done and got the part and fixed it cause what they did only lasted for about 6 hours. They were talking and saying that we had a gas leak and would have to do all new wiring for it which wasn't the case. I was not very impressed with them. They person that came out to my house wasn't very good at all but I've been told the other man that works there is just great. They were very prompt and on time. I would not use them again.

I am very happy with their service.  I would recommend them to my family members and friends.  I would use them again in the future.

See above.  I strongly recommend B&H.  They are professional, helpful, courteous and generally good guys to work with.  They are very fair with their pricing and really try to work with their clients.

The company was very friendly and punctual.  Especially during such a busy time of year.  They explained the problem, showed it to me on the actual unit, replaced the parts and left the broken parts with me to show my husband.  I will DEFINITELY use them again

They did a good job and did not charge an arm and a leg in the process. I will use them again in the future.

I CALLED B & H LATE ONE NIGHT (AROUND 10 PM) BECAUSE MY AIR CONDITIONER WAS NOT BLOWING COOL AIR. I TOLD THEM I WOULD WAIT UNTIL THE NEXT MORNING, BECAUSE OF THE OVERTIME RATE. I RECEIVED A CALL BACK & THEY SAID THEY WOULD COME OVER TO WORK ON THE AIR CONDITIONER THAT EVENING AT THE REGULAR SERVICE PRICE. THIS, I BELIEVE IS VERY RARE, TO COME OUT & NOT CHARGE OVERTIME WAS AN EXTREMELY AWESOME DISPLAY OF WANTING YOUR CUSTOMERS TO COME FIRST. IN A SUBSEQUENT VISIT, THE REPAIRMAN WAS ON-TIME & PERFORMED THE WORK HE INDICATED HE WOULD HAVE TO DO & I HAVE NOT HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY A/C SINCE.

REPAIRMAN CAME ON A SUNDAY MORNING. WAS PROMPT AND COURTEOUS.

THE PEOPLE WERE POLITE, PROFESSIONAL AND QUICK. I LIKE THEIR SERVICE.
