Description of Work: The provider, The Plumber, LLC, was assigned by American Home Shield to replace our water softener. The workmanship was sloppy and the unit was not fully tested before the technician departed. On back-flush, salted water sprayed out over a large area of the basement coating stored boxes and luggage until it was discovered.

Description of Work: Great service. I had issues the first time they came out and they happily came back and fixed it.

Description of Work: Cleared out the sewer line. Came back a second time because it was backed up and used a camera to find out why.

Description of Work: I would say the service was ok. He came on time, and assessed the job quickly and got to work. I don't think he tested it after because after he left my husband went back to look and it was still leaking. He caught him still in the truck before he left, so he came back in and fixed it. He didn't clean up the floor after himself, and I think he used my bathtowel to dry his hands as they were dirty and I needed to change them. He wasn't here that long. He did ask if we had anything else, and when I said he could snake our basement drain he said he could only fix an existing problem (which it always is) We didn't get our 2 hours of work because he said he only did certain things under that offer. We did get our problem fixed, but I can't say the service was anything special.

Description of Work: I purchased a big deal for The Plumber LLC. The big deal was 99 Dollars for 2 hours of plumbing. They replaced 2 shut off valves in the basement.

Description of Work: I have used this company several times in the past, but something has really changed. The person who answeres the phone always seems preocupied and not concerned about my needs. I called three days ago and was told that someone that the person I spoke with would call me back to schedule an appointment. No one called so I called back in two days, and left a message asking for a return call. Still no one called. Today I called and spoke to the same person that I had spoken with initially. He tole me that a plumber had quit this week. I told him that I guess I need to cal a different company, and He told me that probably that was a good idea. Had he told me that on Monday, I would have had my plumbing issues remedied by now. Sadly, this seems to not be the same, quality company that I used in the past.

Description of Work: Updated 11/8/12: Mike and Ronny came out today to fix the pipe. I appreciate The Plumber sending out a new crew to handle the problem, and their professionalism. The drain appears to be working correctly and the home warranty did cover all the work. Thank you Mike and Ronny! I appreciate all your hard work. ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Our home warranty company dispatched Jim to our house to respond to our floor drain being backed up in our garage. Since Friday 11/2 the drain would back up and then drain slowly when the washing machine was running. This was the ONLY issue with this drain. After trying Draino we decided to call the home warranty people and have a plumber come out. After taking $60 and doing "something" to the drain, then informing us that the home warranty wouldn't cover any work because we hadn't been in the house 30 days, Jim left. Now the drain will not drain at all and is in fact backing up further if we run our kitchen sink or the dishwasher. I'm currently waiting to see if it backs up when my daughter takes a shower. It is backing up under my brand new washer and dryer. I fully expect them to be ruined by the time this debacle is over with. Jim would not go under the house to look at the pipes and was generally disinterested in doing anything a plumber should do. "Possible defect in pipe" is all the answer we got. Now we are waiting for a real plumber to come out tomorrow with a camera to see what the issue really is. Another day with a flooded garage, another day my washer and dryer is potentially ruined and another day in our brand new house that we can't use the kitchen.

Description of Work: Matt opened the stopped up drain. He was prompt and professional. These guys are the best. They have been back two more times for other issues. It is an old house and they are quick to make recommendations, without being pushy.
