GENE'S PLUMBING

Larry arrived on time, was here about 3 hours and took care of the plumbing to do list that I had. He installed the kitchen faucet, garbage disposal and pop-up sink stopper/drain that I had purchased. Additionally, he replaced the interior parts of all 4 bathroom sink faucets and the fill valve on all 3 toilets -- no more leaks! The water in the upstairs tub/shower combo was nearly impossible to shut off. Larry replaced the interior parts and the handle and it now shuts right off. Lastly, he replaced the shutoff valves on 2 toilets - 1 that was frozen open and 1 that was the original from 24 years ago. Hopefully, the toilets and bathroom faucets are good for another 24 years now. I originally found Gene's Plumbing in the Yellow Pages when a shut off valve was leaking in 2007. This is the 4th time I've used them and I've always been happy with the work.

Each person that came to our home over the past 10-15 Year’s has been knowledgeable, professional, prompt, and courteous. All repairs were successfully completed, and we have never had to call them back for a job that they have completed for us. We call them for all of our plumbing needs.

The entire job went as well as could be expected. I did have everything under the sink cleared out before he got on the job. Gene's did furnish the new disposer and all other parts that were required.

They were on time, demonstrated confidence with what needed to be done and how they went about it and responsive to questions while also offering related advise. I was pleased with the work.

Mr Gene arrived on time and repaired my broken faucet. He was very nice and knew what he was doing. Absolutely satisfied with his work and would highly recommend his services.

Larry provided excellent customer service. He got right to work and was very knowledgeable. He knew pretty quickly what the problem was and checked a few things to be sure he was right. He also checked a few of my toilets that were running and gave me advice on how to resolve the issue at no charge.

i called for their service off Angie's list. they fit me in between jobs. come very promptly. Larry was very good at what he does. polite and professional, cleaned up after himself and put back the washer and dryer as he found them. only thing i would of liked done differently was when i called them for there service. Angie list description said free estimate which i dint get any talk of price until he was done. when i called shop after paying, the office said they had a minimum of $110 for any soldering they do irregardless of how much time they spend. Would of liked to know about that fixed cost ahead of time. With knowing all this now, i would recommend them still but make sure you get their free estimate first.

Larry was the plumber who came out to service us. We can't say enough good things about his attitude, professionalism and service! I called with the problem in the morning and Larry was here to help us the same afternoon. We will always call this provider for future plumbing needs. Their pricing is also straightforward and reasonable. Very refreshing!

I had received an estimate for a broken pipe in my basement under the cement floor. This particular plumber was not returning calls and I had no idea as to when he was coming out. I called Gene's Plumbing today (3/3/14) for an estimate. They arrived about 11:30 and were gone in an hour. After watching John snake the kitchen stack and going past the marks that were put down for where the pipe broke and knew that there was no broken pipe. The pipe needed to be cleaned out good and water flushed through several times and everything worked great! It was a pleasure watching John and knowing that he knew what to do and understood the problem. I would definitely recommend Gene's Plumbing.

They were awesome. They quickly came by within 30 minutes of me contacting them. I was very pleased with their quick service and ability to fix my leak. Not only that, he tested several things and thought it was a mystery where the water was coming from. He saved us money but fixing what looks like was the problem and if we notice another problem he can come out and do the more "expensive" work, if needed. He was a very friendly person as well.

The repair person came on time almost to the minute and was very courteous and explained what he was doing and why he was doing it. We are very pleased with both their cost to us and the professionalism of their work. We were pleasantly surprised when we found out the bill came in for less than we budgeted for. We would absolutely use them again when we need a plumber and would recommend them to anyone else. We just wish they had been able to repair the bathroom faucet drips.

Needed service at my friend's house. Left early morning message with one of bigger companies but never got a call back. Called Gene's Monday about 10 am and the guy (Larry) was there by 2 pm. He quickly diagnosed problem as a diverter valve and warned me up front that these are not common parts for my brand (Peerless). However, he searched his truck and found one, which he installed. He also replaced the seats and springs with my parts when I said I wanted to do that as well. He also reversed the handles so they would turn the correct way. Then underneath he replaced both water supply lines and new shutoff valves which were heavy duty quarter-turn valves instead of the cheap plastic ones that are on most sinks. Overall took about one hour. A month later everything is still working fine. It was a pleasant experience. The price was fair even without the $20.00 senior discount..

I will not call any other plumber since I've started using Gene. He is prompt and is great about coming out in an emergency. The first time I called him about service, he came out right away; he was waiting in my driveway when I came home.

They are a local company. The electrician came out on time. He did what he needed to do. However, I had a problem with his professionalism. I wanted the water line, so that I could have the ice maker in our refrigerator. He was supposed to directly connect the water line to the fridge. Instead, he put in a valve, so that I could easily disengage the refrigerator. He did a good job of putting in the line, but he also neglected to take it all the way through. It had a valve that I could screw on my refrigerator without having to call him back. I went ahead and let him go. Later, I went ahead and got a compression valve all by myself and did the work. I don’t think I’ll call him again. He did a great job of putting the line in, except for finishing it, so that he could get a call back and some more money from me. He didn’t do the complete job, which he should have. He tried to get more work from me, instead of completing the job in the first place. He was looking at making another $20 to connect the fridge directly. He was also looking at me calling him back to disconnect the fridge, if I were to ever move. He didn’t make it flexible for me. He was trying to extend my dependability on him, rather than helping me become an independent consumer. I paid him for the work that he did. His price was fair for the job that he did. When the fridge was delivered, I connected the compression valve by myself. I’ll probably not use him again in the future.

I have used them a few times in the past to install a hot water heater. They charge a $75 fee just to come out. They do okay. I would say they are average. I will check out Angie's list for a few more referrals.

Timely, professional service, very reasonably priced. He voluntarily put shut-off valves under each sink which is a nice feature.

HE DID A GREAT JOB AND WAS VERY EFFICIENT. HE CLEANED UP HIS MESS AND WAS GONE!
