I hired Tom late in the season, this will be the last roof they do this year due to the colder temperatures. We discussed the project in depth and reviewed all the material choices carefully. I wanted this roof to last more than the 10 years I got of the original roof. Tom patiently advised me on the choices and fairly priced the project. I was also able to use a credit card for the transaction, giving me a little more security. Tom started the next day with the material delivery and the day after the crew arrived bright and early. It took about a week to do the job from start to finish (had to wait on some weather to go through). Otherwise it would have taken four full days to complete (which is fast for the size and complexity of my roof). Through the whole process the crew kept the job site nice and neat cleaning as they went. They minded the weather and only changed the part of the roof they could get to that day. It rained half way through the job, but as everything was managed well, NO leaks occurred. Once finished we inspected all the details and found the job was done very well. And yes I climbed onto the roof and walked all of it. All the edges nicely trimmed and tucked under the flashing and then sealed with silicon (as a double measure). All the lines are straight and properly done. The roof looks great from every angle. Material: GAF Timberline HD (35 year) - Weathered Wood color with GAF-Cobra Snow Country ridge vents. All singles secured with a minimum of 6 nails to achieve 130 mph wind rating.
