Anthony and his guys did a great job removing 3 trees and trimming several other trees in my backyard. They were cheaper than several other quotes that I received so I was a little hesitant but they did a fantastic job! I would highly recommend them to anyone.

They have been very responsive and a very good price compared to the other two quotes received. To date they have not cut the tree since waiting for power company regarding our power line disconnect; Ward Tree has contacted KCP&L with no luck? KCP&L finally set up a date to drop our power line. Honest and reliable

The company did half the work on 1 August, so I give them half the stars. Did not complete the work that was requested. Only reduced the final price by $100. The excuse was that they could not safely get to the other stems. Funny since the owner actually came out and surveyed the area and gave me the bid. I stated I wanted the tree no higher than the peak of the house. Yet I still have 4 stems at least 15ft higher than the peak. Quote/bid specifically stated "top dead stems". Still have 2 stems with at least 10ft of dead sections on the ends - posing a danger to our house and the neighbor's house. These stems were not touched. I don't think the owner listens to what the customer wants - or he purposely takes on jobs that he knows he's not capable of doing. I say this because I just found a review from another customer where it sounds like his company did the same thing. That individual rated this company 1 star - elsewhere. I will admit our job was probably complex. We had multiple items under and around the large walnut tree - hot tub, garden with 4ft fence, perimeter yard fence, etc... However, again the owner came out and survey our situation, then gave us the bid. Maybe he "gets himself in over his head" on taking bids he's not capable of doing. But, from my perspective, only half the job was done. Now I'm back to "square one" and will have to find another tree company to finish the job he couldn't do. And we're out the money we paid Ward Tree Care. The owner has contacted me because he knew I was not happy with the work. We've had a telephone discussion, but we still are in disagreement. His argument continues to be they couldn't safely get to all the stems and he had $1000 of costs to do the job. They were onsite only approx 4 hours. My end summary - "BUYER BEWARE".

This experience was a total delight. After many experiences, from other companies that was NOT. Very professional, courteous, and detailed work. I will definitely use again if needed, and will refer to everyone I know.
