I have always have good service at a reasonable price. I have two units that they charge $78 per unit for the service. The price is about $20 lower because I am a repeat customer.

We first called them out during the middle of a hot and humid day last summer. Our AC quit putting out cold air. Due to the high volume of calls, the owner actually came out to our home which we are extremely thankful for. He showed us what we could do to help eliminate another call for the same issue - a simple action that can save the homeowner a couple hundred dollars! He was quick, professional and courteous and our home was cooler within minutes. The second visit was last month during a cold snap and again the worst timing, furnace goes out as temps dipped below freezing. Jorge had our system up and running within an hour. He was informative and professional. Love, love, love Neece Heating and Cooling of Independence!!

There were multiple issues, since we had recently moved into a 1950s house with zoned heating and cooling (3 furnaces, 3 air-con units). Extremely quick turnaround and services. Very well satisfied with the consultations and subsequent installations/repairs, and follow up from the owner. .

Neece Heating & Cooling did an exceptional job! They were able to schedule a morning to complete our work within 2 weeks of our phone call. Two individuals came to complete the work- they talked me through each step as they worked to be sure I understood what & why they are fixing the specific aspect of the duct. They were a tad pricey, but you pay for good service. The management (husband and wife) do a great job running their company- I will certainly use them again and would absolutely recommend their services to others!

Well first he came within an hour's notice in this very busy summer time. when he discovered we had a special needs child that was having difficulties being in the humid and HOT home. EVERYONE ELSE said there's nothing they could do to rush to help us! Some even said MORE THAN a week! Not only was this Service man very quick and efficient but they came at a moment's notice when we were really in a bad way with our child! I 150% recommend Neece Heating & Cooling! We have used Neece for the last several years for both heating and cooling. Very pleased with services and always stand by their work. If there is an issue they are right back out to fix it. We could not be happier with this company and would highly recommend them to anyone. Our house is older with older units and we feel like they keep us in running condition without a bunch of up sales. A very honest experience.

He spent about two hours troubleshooting why the heat pump couldn't catch up and then keep the temp steady. All was operating correctly. He had a hunch that it had not been adjusted correctly when it was installed. He took it apart, tested it and determined it was not connected correctly. He rewired and waited to make sure it was working correctly. NO CHARGE!!!!! Exceptional service, incredibly prompt (next day after I called). Just a totally delightful service call. Would I use again? In a heart beat. I would not consider calling anyone else.

This was the second time that they came out. The first time was to fix a problem with the air conditioning that my brother-in-law had created by messing with the thermostat. Travis found out that the wires from the furnace were installed incorrectly, and changed the wiring in the thermostat to match the wiring in the furnace. He was unable to troubleshoot the fix at that time because it was almost 80 degrees and the heat pump has a sensor that prevents the heat from kicking on when the temperature is too high. When it got colder and I turned the furnace on I found that it was still blowing cold air. Travis spent over an hour today at no charge to troubleshoot the problem so that he could narrow it down to the exact part that was broken. He knew almost right away that it was the heat pump - or something in it - but he was willing to take the time to make sure I didn't have to pay for something that I didn't need. I am single and have been taken advantage of multiple times over the years. It was really great to find a company that will take care of me, without taking me to the cleaners. Travis is the best!

I first spoke to Jennifer at Neece Heating and Cooling. This was to schedule a time for Travis Neece to come over to my home and give me an estimate for replacing my old furnace and air-conditioning system. My schedule was difficult to fit into, but she was very helpful in getting a time arranged. Travis was prompt and professional, listening to what I thought I wanted, and giving me ideas and suggestions on how it could be done. His price for the quality equipment and installation was more in line with what I wanted to pay, so we decided to have his team make it happen. Mike, who installed the new air-conditioning condenser, arrived first, and began recovering the refrigerant from my old condenser to prep it for removal. Steve came soon afterward, and began unhooking the gas and electrical lines from the furnace. Greg came by next to see what sheet metal and vent piping were going to be replaced, and what transitions for the new furnace were going to have to be fabricated on site. Wayne arrived and began helping Mike with the condenser. All four men were very cordial and professional, starting right in and getting ready for the next steps. The tear-out and new installation went seamlessly, everyone knowing their jobs and performing them with obvious skill and professionalism. All trash and scraps were picked up and disposed of along the way, so the work site was always clear, easy to work in, and clean. The whole operation was finished by mid-afternoon, with the new furnace and air-conditioning system fired-up, checked, and approved. Travis came over to give me the receipt and all the paperwork for the job, and to see if we were satisfied with the work. I told him I was impressed with the level of professionalism and camaraderie among his team, and was told he was also very glad to have them working for him. I would have no reservation about recommending this company and their product to anyone!

price of service call very reasonable. service excellent. however the price per pound of r12 was very high. I believe it was $75 per pound which drove the price up to a point where I have to look for better deals since I have multiple properties

It was the first heat spell of the summer and I discovered my ac was not working. Neece cooling had a coupon for service so I gave them a call. I was so impressed with the receptionist as she was concerned and tried to work me in as quickly as possible. The technician gave me a call to let me know he was on his way and upon arriving got to work. He discovered that my motor was bad and needed to be replaced so located one and finished the job quickly. As a followup 2 days later the ac stopped working so I gave them a call and the same technician returned. To my embarrassment I had failed to close the furnace door properly after changing the filter so the on switch was not engaged. (no service call charge). Then would you believe a few weeks later ac stopped working. This time a stick had gotten stuck in the fan. (no service call charge). So I am very impressed with the professionalism and responsiveness of Neese Heating and Cooling and will definitely keep their company on my contact list .

I purchased the $40 coupon from Angies List and completed the information. They sent me an email the next day but I did not see it until the following Monday (July 20th). When I did call, I was placed on the work list for that Monday morning and when he arrived (a little bit early) I had air in less than an hour. Thanks for the great service. I was so HOT!!

I recently moved into a new existing home and wanted to have the A/C inspected so I purchased the $99 BIG DEAL. Being that fall is right around the corner, I asked them to also service my furnace, which they did for an additional $69 (since they would already be there). I have used Neece Heating & Cooling in the past at my previous home and am extremely pleased with their service. Travis Neece, the owner, and Jennifer in the office are absolutely wonderful! Travis is very knowledgeable, professional, prompt, efficient, personable, and does a thorough job. He is very detailed and makes sure that all systems are in proper working order before he leaves (he doesn't blow in and out like most others). Neece Heating & Cooling is my go-to provider for all of my heating and cooling needs whether I have an Angie's List special or not. I highly recommend their services! Trust me, you won't be sorry.

We had a $40 coupon from Angie's List. Air conditioner was serviced by Travis Neece, owner. We were very satisfied with this family owned business. After Travis left, we noticed some water on the floor of our furnace room. We called the company to set up another service call, and Travis said he'd come back that same day. He was very nice about returning, even after it was discovered that the water was not due to the AC.

I ended up purchasing a service contract with them.

Our old unit had developed freon leaks and was beyond repair. Travis Neece, the owner, provided us with several units to choose from. We chose Heil because of the guarantee and the great service and performance record. It is a major installation but Travis and his assistant, Daryl completed the job in about 4 hours. It was an extremely professional experience. Travis is so kind and patient with any and all of our questions. We are so pleased wth how the unit is performing. We have been using Travis for maintenance on our heating and cooling units for the past 3 years. You can not find a better company to deal with. Job well done, Travis!

Travis Neece installed our HVAC system about a year ago. The season's change led me to turn on the new A/C system. When it didn't cool my home, I called Travis to come take a look at it. He booked a priority appointment with me and spent the time it took to find the manufacturers defect. My unit was under warranty, so he fixed the problem ASAP and had me smiling again. I have seen integrity in action with Neece Heating and Cooling. A year after he was paid for initial services rendered, he stood behind his work. I am so impressed with his service after the sale that I referred him to my mom who needed a humidifier for her home.
