Very satisfy. Top notch!!

My washing machine quit working on a Sunday evening and I called and left a message. Mike called me the next morning. Told him I lived alone and would not be available that day and asked if he could come out later in the week and in the afternoon so I could leave work and meet him at my home. The next day he called me at work and asked if I could be there between 2:30 and 3:00 and I told him I would be there. He arrived at 2:30 and quickly diagnosed the problem which was a bad electrical part. He had the part in his van and the washing machine was working perfectly by 3:00. The total cost was $165 which was less than I expected. He was personable and professional and made sure it was working properly before he left. His business card is now on my refrigerator and I will definitely call him the next time I need any repairs.

Called on a Sunday, left message, Mike returned a call shortly after. He showed up Monday morning quickly diagnosed the problem gave an estimate, was told to proceed with the repair and he was done within the hour. This is the second time we used Ace Appliance and we are extremely pleased with his repair work. We will use him again in the future if needed.

Not impressed at all. I willl not be using this company again. I called for a quote on the service call price over the phone. I told him what was going on and he quoted $45. When he got to our house, he found the temperature of the refrigerator was fine so nothing was needed there. He found that some metal pins that connect to the light bulbs in the fridge were slightly bent. So, he bent them back into place. That's, literally ALL he did. The price went up to $65. He was at our house for no more than 15 minutes and he increased the quoted price by 50%. I asked him why it wasn't $45 and he said because he "had to do something". I asked him what that meant and he reminded me that he bent some pins back into place in the lighting mechanism. Also, we've been having a problem with our water dispenser on the fridge not working. I asked him about this since he was here and it was a good opportunity to have a professional investigate it. He tried to make it work by pushing the lever and putting his ear up against the side of the fridge for about 15 seconds. He said the regulator in the back of the fridge (which, by the way he'd never bothered to look at) was bad and we'd have to get another one. I asked how we'd do that. As he was packing up he said "Oh it's just in the back of the fridge by the waterline, and it needs replaced." Since he obviously wasn't interested in helping, I asked him if he could show me the piece he's talking about. As he still is packing up, he reminded me that it's in the back of the fridge by the waterline and I would see it as soon as I pulled the fridge out. He mentioned in passing that it would cost $160 if he did it, but there was never an offer to do it and certainly no interest in pursuing this work. I'ver never seen a company not interested in going after new work. But I suppose when they jump their prices up by 50% on a whim, then extra work isn't needed. Lastly, he didn't put the food back in the fridge that he had removed when he was fixing the lighting fixture. It was still sitting on my kitchen counter when he walked out the door. Came back to review on Angie's list later to review provider's response to see that he says the CUSTOMER was uptight and he can't please everybody. I've given positive reviews before on Angie's list, so this is unique. To know me, you'd laugh at his uptight comment about me. But I do know that a service provider that shrugs off customer concerns and says "Well, you can't please everybody" is somebody who is simply unwilling to try. If this is what you're looking for in a provider, pick this company. You've come to the right place.

He was very good. We called him on a weekend which was a Sunday and left a message on his answering machine, and he got right back to us which we thought was really great; especially when we were on a weekend and our oven had gone out. He was really nice. He came right back to us even though it was a Sunday, and set up an appointment to come and take a look at what we had. He came here promptly in a few days and fixed it, and there were no problems. We haven’t had a problem since. He was just good and very dependable. His demeanor was wonderful. We don’t know if he was the owner of the company, but he surely acted like it. He was just very good and we would recommend him highly. We’ve got his card on our refrigerator and we wouldn’t hesitate to use him again. We believe the price was just one on the money. We didn’t really call around to get estimates on it but we had done some online research about what the problem was with our stove, and we certainly can say that it was very much within that range.

Contrary to my expectations when researching this provider through Angie's List, I was not impressed with the way the representative handled my request. I called to ask for help in repairing an ice crusher in a Maytag refrigerator/freezer. While the initial response was a promptly returned phone call and the quoted trip charge was reasonable, the representative didn't offer to make a visit to analyze the defect. Rather, he simply asked for the model number and claimed the unit probably needed a new circuit board. The quoted price was $$400.00, sight unseen. Given that amount is at almost half of the original cost of the entire refrigerator and the estimate hardly credible since done entirely over the phone, I elected to move on.

The experience was excellent. Mike really saved the day, in a manner of speaking, and both my kids got their laundry done prior to leaving for college again!

Followed proper procedures to determine specific problem and went about repairs efficiently. Cleaned and vacuumed lint form unit. Gave appropriate instructions for future lint removal. Was highly satisfied.

The repair man called before he came to my home. He reviewed both appliances, gave me an estimate on each repair seperately. We decided what was going to be repaired and he left to get parts he was missing from his truck. He returned less than one hour later and completed the work very quickly and quietly. He left my home neat and clean. He kept me informed of his progress. He was extremely professional! I would highly recommend Ace Appliance for any repair needs!

Upon returning home from running errands, late afternoon on Saturday, March 10, we realized our refrigerator/freezer was not working. There was water on the floor of the frig and our frozen foods were defrosted. We called Ace around 4 p.m. and was told the service call would be $49. A repairman called ahead of time on Sunday morning, March 11 and came out shortly afterwards. He repaired our refrigerator at a total cost of $200. The responsiveness, professionalism, and reasonable prices of this company is excellent. We would definitely use them again.

The repair required was for a rental property. I called Ace to schedule the repair on 8/19/11 and gave them the model number of the dishwasher and they called back within an hour to tell me when the part would be in and how much the repair would cost. I received the call on 8/22/11 stating the part was in and scheduled the appointment for the following morning. The service man was prompt and waiting when I arrived 10 minutes prior to the appointed time. He made the repair and while he was doing that I was trying to determine why the faucet water pressure was so low. He helped me remove the screen on the faucet and clean it out, at no charge!!!!!!!! Now that is called going above and beyond the call of duty. Ace Appliance is great and will recieve all our future appliance repairs. Thanks ACE you are the BEST!

Our dryer quit heating so I got this name from Angie's List and called. He said he would call before coming and he did. He was here within an hour, determined the problem to be in the computer part of the dryer (but tried several other things first). He left to go find the part and was back about 2 hours later (after calling first to let me know he was on his way) and fixed it. I was VERY pleased with the company. As I told him when he was leaving, I hope I don't have to call him again for a long time, but it is nice to know that I have him to call if a problem does arise. I highly recommend him.

Went well - a friend that was already a member of Angie's list gave us three companies to choose from near where we lived. Ace was the first one I called. They said they could stop by within a couple of hours and that they'd call before they came. They called, came, quickly figured out the problem, the scrambled to find the replacement part. They got it fixed the same day and we appreciate it.

I highly recommend using this company for this type of repair. They specialize in large appliances (frigs, stove, diswashers etc)

THEY CAME OUT THE SAME DAY & SHOWED UP RIGHT ON TIME. THEY WERE COURTEOUS AND REASONABLY PRICED. I ALSO THOUGHT THEY WERE KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND THE MAN GAVE ME SOME POINTERS BEFORE HE LEFT.
