4-Legged Kids does an excellent job at cat sitting. They came to my house twice a day for 15 days to care for my two cats. They made a preliminary visit to familiarize themselves with the cats and our house before we went away. They are a very professional organization. I particularly like getting pictures of my cats while I am away. I have high confidence in them now that we have used them for 2 trips (one 15 day trip and a 4 day drip). They are slightly more expensive than some competitors, but in my mind the excellent experience we had more than compensates for the additional expense.

I love 4-Legged Kids. When I was traveling out of town, I had some timing issues with a friend who was caring for my pooch in my house (she needs medication twice a day), so Janie dropped what she was doing and went right out to take care of my Liza. Then, she went back, unscheduled, twice a day for the rest of the long weekend. What great service, and my puppy loved the attention. Thanks, 4-Legged Kids!

The caregivers themselves did a great job. However the owner and the manager are extremely rude and abrupt; their customer service is poor and they treat customers as if they (the owner and the manager) are doing the customer a great favor. They do not value their customers. Their rates are above market rate and were raised without notice. When questioned about the rate increase they became abusive and hostile.

Opted out of service contracts for line breaks etc. Have called them occasionally for problems with dogs getting out for help with diagnostic issues - batteries, line breaks. Always helpful and responsive.

Each person that has come to the house has done a great job with my dog. They let her go outside, then go for a short walk and spend a little time with her before heading out. The dog walker always makes sure to leave a short report about how things went. I would definitely recommend the dog walking services of this company.

I dropped my dog off Friday, (7/1/11) night, only the owner's husband was there. The details are many.  My dog went missing under her direct care the next day.  We did not find out about this until Wednesday, when we were alot further away from home than on Saturday.  I texted her to find out how my dog was doing, she called back and told me that the dog was gone.  She did contact the Avid chip company, and put up signs in the area.    She told us that she believed someone would pick her up and bring her to a vet and she would just go get her after the holiday when everything re-opened.  We came home as planned 7/17/11.  We went to see her the next day in her home.   She had not run ads in the local papers, until we requested.   She only used craigslist and FB at our request. She had "discussed" a postcard mailing with a  printer.  Why she waited  two weeks until we came home, and talked about it, we do not understand.  Then she delivered something to our home on Thurs, and said SHE decided it was to costly to mail the post cards!!??   We asked her to do it hoping someone had our dog, and did not realize she was lost.  She did, finally do the postcard mailing.  She explained to us that she had been walking our dog and she was pulling (the dog was obviously stressed).  She explained that she took our dog off the leash to"backlock" her choke chain in order to make her more comfotable and a friendly neighbor dog came over to say hello, spooked our dog and she ran off.  WHO takes a dog they do not know off a leash in an area unfamiliar to the dog??

Our dog was never found.  
We ended up settling with her insurance company. 

If you are using one of her sitters, and are happy, continue to do so.  They had nothing to do with this.  HOWEVER, please look around before using her in home Staycation services.

I will definitely use them again.

The owner is terrific. She does a great job of finding people who handle the dogs. She makes sure that the people are responsible and dependable. And the best part is, our dogs just love them!
