They came out and looked at out house and listened to my concerns about an unglued pipe going up the side of the house. The estimator came up with an excellent solution that put the pipe through our garage. They did a great job and made sore our test results were great. There were other companies that just wanted to do a street view from google and gave us an estimate going up the side of the house for more money. Healthy Homes was also listed as a good company on the Minnesota Department of Health.

We scheduled the system installation about a week in advance. They showed up on time and they were very professional in their installation. The cleaned up after themselves.

Healthy Homes was very punctual, reliable and did excellent work. They sealed our sump pump and installed a pipe from the basement, through the attic and out the roof. They also added a fan in the attic. We were really impressed with their work! They guarantee lowered levels of radon and provided tests to make sure they are down. Now we have peace of mind knowing our basement is safe.

It went great! I chose them because they guaranteed radon levels below 2, with the promise of tweaking the system at no extra charge until the desired levels were met. They also required no down payment and didn't require payment until acceptable levels were achieved. I had used a test kit from Home Depot when I discovered that our results were 6.1. Healthy Homes left two testing kits from Air Check when they were finished. I purchased two more kits from Home Depot, as the tests measured levels in two different ways. The tests from both companies came back with similar readings. We were still at 4.1 in one bedroom area and under 1 in the rest of the basement. In a timely manner, Healthy Homes came back out and installed a third suction point at no extra charge to our estimate. We tested again, and we are now down to under 1 in our whole basement. I felt I was treated professionally and that they delivered what they promised. Dawn Peterson

Everything is perfect. The salesman was cordial, knowledgeable and punctual. The crew (installer and electrician) was proficient and friendly - they were also punctual. They did a wonderful job - the radon reading in our basement is now below 0.3 pCi/L, practically as in outdoor fresh air. The system also looks good.

Excellent. Very prompt appointment to discuss options. Very thoughtful input from Bill, to reassure our system placement and function. Easy to schedule, and the crew arrived about ten minutes before expected. Very prompt. Very clean. Very courteous. One improvement could be provided, and that would be for Angie to let me choose a rating of A+, not just A. Sorry, no photo because radon systems are just about invisible when done right.

They took time to explain what they were doing and to help us locate the best spot for the system to be installed. They did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. My only complaint was that on the day of the install, they said they needed to use our extension cord since the electrician was not available until the following week. Apparently the electrician only works for them once a week, and wasn't available until the following week. However, he wasn't available that next week either. It was two weeks after the install that the electrician finally made it out here. I would have preferred having them both come out on the same day or at minimum be told that this installation would require two visits. I also wish they would have brought their own extension cord. It was a huge hassle to climb up into the attic to unplug it to use it (and thus temporarily turn off the system) only to then have to go back up there to plug it in again.

I first contacted Healthy Homes LLC in January 2014 because they list St. Cloud, MN as a service area and because the MN Department of Health listed them as a certified Minnesota Radon Contractor. This was right after MN passed legislation requiring the seller in real estate transactions to disclose to the buyer a description of radon testing, concentrations or mitigation pertaining to the property. As a short term test revealed somewhat high levels of radon at the property I decided to purchase, I contracted with Healthy Homes to mitigate or reduce the radon level to an acceptable level. After a March 2014 installation of the radon-reduction system in my home by Healthy Homes, several follow-up tests revealed the radon level was reduced but not to the low level guaranteed by Healthy Homes.
As Healthy Homes knew of the issue I simply waited for them to suggest a solution. After several months of waiting I contacted them in June and asked what they would do next and they said they would install a larger suction fan. It then took until October for the larger fan to be installed and for the radon level to be reduced to the level they guaranteed in March. So it basically took SEVEN MONTHS for them to complete the work. As a final misstep on their part, they did not provide me with a written guarantee as promised in the contract until I asked.
To be fair the installation work was neat and the radon-reduction system does work as promised. However, for the amount of money charged I did expect far better customer service and attention to detail than I received.

After testing my basement we called several radon mitigates. Healthy Homes was the one we chose because they seemed the most responsive and interested in US. When we called back to confirm our decision a date was set up. On the day of installation they were late for that specified time but gave us continues updates on the equipment malfunctions they were having and did work late into the evening to complete the job! Following the 1st follow up testing (showing a huge improvement) but not to levels specified they came back and inspected again drilling a hole for diagnostics. We decided to try a large motor than planned and they installed it. We have since tested an neared the guaranteed level just waiting on some final adjustments.
So far very pleased with Robert and the concern he has shown for our concerns. Strongly recommend.

While in our home, they were quick, professional and quite friendly. They had prompt follow up and clear literature about the work that they had done.
